I appreciate dancers like Maya. If you pay attention to her body, to me it seems much more beautiful than most dancers now a days. She has the body of a woman, which should be the way we think of beauty in women. I assume she has a harder time looking so elegant, but then again, she accomplished it, and I believe those types of female dancers look better thn modern super skinny, and abnormal dancers.

How wonderful! Maya at the age of 14! She is an angel! I remember the complete video: After dancing Sleeping Beauty, Maya attended her class as usual. What a great artist you are, Maya! Thank you for so many hours of such incredible performances!

Who doesn't? I do love her very much too, and I admire her talent and her human qualities. I recommend you her memoirs, I have read it twice. She suffered so much under communism, they made her life very difficult. Stalin killed her father and put her mother in a concentration camp for years. She said that there was not a day that she had not thought about jumping out of a window. She still looks wonderful. God Bless Her!!!!
