if your like me, this was the hardest part of the game. For some reason, im scared of swarms. its weird cuz i can deal with any horror game out there, but if i see a swarm then BAM im gone.

That also made king kong a hard game to play too, if you dont believe me, try running into a spiky bush when playing as jack :(

The Insect Swarm plasmid is very useful when you're not entirely sure where an enemy is hiding. The insects will seek out the enemy and draw it from hiding.

The splicers dont summon everytime you turn the smoker on. Each time you open a hive, the game spawns a splicer. Whether the hive has an enzyme vial or not...it will spawn one splicer when you open it.

To avoid getting overwhelmed, open 2-4 hives at a time, kill the splicers, re-smoke the room, and repeat. Its really a lot easier than it looks

This is the worst part of the game, its hard and annoying! Plus, Insect Swarm, is a very helpful plasmid too. Its useful, and actually kinda fun.

i find insect swarm very useful because it gets all the splicers out of hiding word of advice DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT USE INSECT SWARM IN A ROOM WITH A BIG DADDY HE WILL GET STUNG AND START ATTACKING YOU!!!!!

It's not every time you smoke it it's every time you find an enzyme. [or at least i think so] By the way don't try to make the bees attack the splicers by freezing the splicers and leaving them there because every time i tried it they just got out before the bees get out.

Haven't watched the video over ( And I've watched your videos about three times over since they're so fun. Love the commentary sometimes. ) but there is on the left side, pretty close to the space between hives a safe with 3 samples always in it. So, hack that can net you three free samples without having to search a hive. Shortens the time significantly finding the rest.

I bought the bee plasmid and used it in there and still got attacked... Either i did something wrong or that doesn't work, either way it's was waste of adam, since I'll never use it again

i never used the machines but i did buy that plasmid so the bees didnt attack me (much easier that way)

Nice job here, mac. Yeah, this part looks pretty tough, but you seem to have gotten through it alright. What about using your guns, have you found them effective at all in this section?

Guns can always be used in any situation throughout the guide. I just find it easier sometimes in the heat of battle to keep it simple, so I only have to switch between plasmid/weapon and not fumble around with multiple versions of each. It's a personal choice, and you can choose to use guns whenever you wish.
