the funny thing is that the real story in so much different from the movie lol, one of the main reasons spartans won is because they had advanced heavy armors and weaponery (not shinny abs lol) unlike their persian opponents who had light armors. Also they were 7000 Greeks and by the end 1300 greek fought including the 300 spartans lol WATCH THE DOCUMENTARY "LAST STAND OF THE 300" :)

@artist2371 well you (and I) cant imagine what violence means by this film.. yeah u see abou 100 cropses in the film and another 30-40 killings... but according to history the first day of the battle only 1 spartan died and they killed arround 7.000 persians.. imagine yourself watching a film that 300 ppl slaying 7.000 in the frist 20 minutes of the movie..
