I just wanted to say that I agree with you. Although I really enjoyed the show, and I thought they were amazing, I thought it was poor that there was no encore (I was waiting for divine intervention!) and that the crowd was so poor too.

I travelled from Manchester especially to see them and it cost me a small fortune. D: I still enjoyed the show, I just think it could've been a whole lot better, sadly.

i came from bournemouth, enjoyed the show but agree the crowd were shit! the sound quality was amazing though, may be due to the acoustics, shame to see the Astoria get knocked down cos its a decent venue

What was wrong with the crowd?

At the front it was really good.

At one point I could feel the floor bouncing.

I travelled from Crewe for this,and it was the best gig I had easily ever been to.

I travelled from Sweden to see them :) and for the first time. and it was amazing, right?

i travelled from manchester too! i couldn't get home the next day though, due to a freight train catching fire. it took me 7 hours to get home!

(i was waiting for bike scene, but it never happened) it was a bit disappointing to hear more of the latest album, but we did hear a few new songs, so it did have it's good points i guess!

same! we had train tickets for like, half twelve, and we didn't end up getting on a train until after four. we ended up sat around in euston for ages. XD

that's when our train was! but we got told to go to st. pancras, then we had to board a nottingham train, get off at leicester, then get a train to sheffield. but the sheffield train was so full we were actually sat in a luggage carriage. no seats, and nothing to hold on too. it was proper dirty! we got kicked out of there at derby. then got a train to sheffield.. THEN, had to wait an hour for a train to manchester. it was a right fiasco!

we got on the first train to manchester we could see, but had to get off again because there were too many people on it. Then we went and found out that there was another in an hour, so we went there and grabbed some seats (we'd been in london for a few days before the concert = big heavy suitcases)

we only stayed the night, the only reason i went to london was for this gig

i'm probably going to go back again, and have a proper stay to look at everything. there's too much to see in that short space of time!

even though i love them so much, i was really disappointed. they weren't even on all that long. i came from manchester to see them, and they didn't do an encore!

it was the best gig ever simply for the fact that i've waited for over a year to see them again and that i travelled 8 hours to be there

i think fazzi is a great replacement for fred :)

its a shame you cant stay on long at the Astoria cos they close for the gay night, means all bands finish early. they played for like 80-90 mins which isnt bad cos they played straight through. too much off the latest album though, for one off dates i prefer it when bands play more old stuff and stick to the newer stuff for the commercial tours
