  • not to bad! not to bad!

man your painting skills are flipping awesome man god job

  • Hey man, my buddy and I recently bought a board and were thinking of doing the same thing you did. Any advice? How much flock did you actually need? Thanks.

  • @bowlgnasandwich Firstly spray the whole board black, GW do a terrain pack, i just bought that at the same time as the board, the pack comes with brown and ochre paints for the earthy colours and all the flock you will need to cover the board, to add abit of variation i also bought 2 tubs of the galeforce9 dead/winter flock which i just used to create a more natural blend of color, mix some black & white paint for the rocks, or get a gray emulsion apply that then mix gray/white for highlighting.

  • I think it looks great. I just got into the Warhammer hobby myself and I have a Realm of Battle coming in soon. I'm still learning the painting and flocking process so this video helps. Thanks for posting :).

  • i think that the patched grass makes a good affect

  • so cool.

  • @koora8 oh and skulls need to be more white :P

  • Hey, that looks quite nice. I really like the "patchiness" of the grass areas - it looks much more "realistic" instead of looking like a golf course. (A golf course with SKULLS!) :)

  • why did you paint the skulls brown in the first place?

  • You should be brave of your work!

  • Great looking boards well done very affective, i agree with you about the skulls a light drybrush to bring them out more would set the boards off even more.

  • Brilliant job, man :D

  • @ArohkVolfield thanks mate! ;)
