  • @melovesteventyler bolivian ragmuffin and jig is up. :)

  • @melovesteventyler A little research of when AS's singles & albums were Certified Gold would show you it wasn't "such a commercial failure" at the outset. Lightning Strikes as a single did as well as Sweet Emotion, and better than Back In The Saddle, Draw The Line & Last Child, for e.g. when it came out. RIAHP did better than the Get Your Wings album when it came out; that album took 11 yrs to be Gold, RIAHP took 7 yrs. ctnd...

  • @Grendelmonster8u ...ctnd. But people go back & buy those early albums, so Get Your Wings eventually went Platinum, but new fans didn't buy RIAHP & Done With Mirrors...they've never gone Platinum. Night In The Ruts took 14 yrs to be certified by the RIAA as Platinum. Gold means "high sales." Aerosmith's 1st album took 11 yrs to be Gold. It's just that it didn't EVENTUALLY sell as well as those old albums w/ new fans buying them. So not a huge failure by no means. (:

  • Tyler & Crespo Lyrics, Jimmy Crespo (aka God) wrote the amazing music for this.

the whole album is blinding from start to finish, this is their best album to date..

  • @IPlayHardNA30 Like I said to the other person, Jack Douglas is also credited on this song and the song RIAHP. "Lightning Strikes" is credited only to Richard Supa and the single went #21 on Billboard, better than Back In The Saddle & Same Old Song & Dance, Draw The Line singles when those came out.

This is a pretty song, I agree with you.

  • @Grendelmonster8u We sure know our stuff dont we?

I've been busy looking for the rest of them bootlegs and i've found some of them, want me to put them up? (Got Syracuse, San Antonio and honolulu)

  • @IPlayHardNA30 Don't need Honolulu b/c SueEllen has it all nive together in a playlist. Syracuse and San Antonio, yes! Thanks. She also uploaded Yarmouth, MA in 1883 and Ventura, CA in '83. Take a look at those, I comment on all of them. ((:

  • @IPlayHardNA30 Oh, about knowing stuff...I just work Google, read, and try to put it all together before commenting. Not always right, but I cross-reference a lot. It's pretty easy to do online... would have never known it in the past, such as in the 80s with no Internet. Heck, finding lyrics in the past was hard if they weren't in the record. Now I can learn so much in a short time. (;

  • excellent.

  • beautiful pictures! where did u find them?

  • High quality atmospheric upload this.

Yeah ,"Rock In A Hard Place" is among Aerosmith's best work.

And...that Joe Perry is one handsome dude....Slash,crawl under a stone....and take that top hat with you.

  • Last year Jimmy was playing with Dee Snider in a Vegas/A.C. Rock thang, I would love to know where Rick Dufay is, that line-up was cool & Fucked up, saw them BLOW Journey out of the water..........I'll ask Derek St. Holmes where Rick is......

  • heehee i love tom!

  • WHERE THE FUCK IS JIMMY CRESPO???....BOO ON THE PIX,JOE SHOULDNT BE IN HERE AT ALL,HE DIDNT WRITE A NOT OF THIS!

  • The music is better without the lyrics to this song

  • Rock In A Hard Place was a greatly underrated album. It was a breath of fresh, sweet air in an era of formula pop. As long as Aerosmith was still playing, there was still hope!

  • Impressive, It sounds better than the album, perhaps because there are no vocals, I am quite suprised by how good this is. Where did it come from?

  • @ggandthernb Demos. It's on a bootleg called .999 Pure Gold.

  • my favorite from rock in a hard place, that album is so good. lighting strikes rocks.

  • Nicely done, this is really good ! !

  • this album is on the bootlegmarket;>known as "PURE GOLD "it has a darkbrown sleeve, gold capitals, with a photo of Perry/Tyler in their classic Richards/Jagger-pose(hahaha).The album containd unknown tracks and mistakes all the way

  • With so many pics of Steven Tyler holding the guitar, maybe there should be a bunch of Joe Perry holding the mike stands...

  • Nice, I love it, Joanie's Butterfly is a good song.

  • great tune

  • 5:05

    hahahahhahahahaha

where did you get all this pictures!

  • Tyler wrote the lyrics, I know for a fact Jimmy Crespo wrote this music.

  • @6980farahat12 Producer Jack Douglas is also credited on this song and the song Rock In A Hard Place (Cheshire Cat).

  • Great job, on one of the coolest Aerosmith tacks, love the instruments version. No pics of the writer( Crespo)? Well done

  • Tyler wrote this

  • haha, whoaa!, wtf?, where was that picture taken with that naked chick on Joe?!?!?!, I had never seen that picture b4!< wtf?!?!!?, lol

  • where'd you get all the cool pictures? awesome!

  • thanks for this.

  • !!!sʞɔoɹ ɥʇıɯsoɹǝɐ

  • joanie....oh joanie

  • Way cool!

  • sounds like karaoke version... ooh i love this song & i love rock in a hard place, one of best cds!! i think it's some kinda continuation of prelude to joanie...

  • this is noyt a demo verison..this is the RIHP version but without the voice channel

that percussion sounds equalized and stuff

  • Listen carefully to when the electric guitar comes in (1:40 on this video). This is definitely a different version than the album version.

  • it's defenitally re-streamed

  • RIAHP did havea few light gems hidden within, its too bad they didn't dive too deep into this alternative writing you don't find, or really associate with Aerosmith.

  • Awsome pictures!

  • cool pics! thankyou!

  • heard it a month ago, still fresh...

    good video !!!

  • Nice picks for a good tune. Thanks a bunch!

  • that's a fuckin' well done video !!!

  • 3:46 <3 <3

Love the pics at the end too lol

    Aerosmith kicks ass.

  • One of my all time favorite Aerosmith songs. Without Joe Perry & Brad Whitford, I should say.

    Thanks for posting this.

  • this video is dynamite!! The 1970's shots are Incredable!!

  • Cool pics but how about some of guitarist who wrote this, Jimmy Crespo? I love Rock in a Hard Place! Better than anythong Aerosmith has put out int he last 10 years...

  • I didn't have any, neither Crespo or Dufay pics with great quality! It's that simple..

  • No worries, I just like to give Crespo credit. Met him a few times and he's a cool guy.

  • @Aerorobbs This is a great live version alright, but.. no Crespo Pics! i have a few in my videos, they're pretty neat too.. one of him in sound testing for the chiquita music video.. love it! :D

  • totally agree with ya!

  • @GreenBayLA U R my kinda People!!JIMMY CRESPO+GOD!

  • Hey! That's Amazing!! Both folk and rock together! And the video is very nice too!! Congratulations and thanks for posting!!

  • Very Nice!! I'm glad you put the pictures of Joe in even though he was 'on hiatus' lol. Aerosmith still rocks and this is cool to take somthing nice from one of their (self-admitted) worst albums. Thanks for posting!
