  • So many FOX News trolls here.

  • This is a great re-design and now the liberals-progressives that love NPR can easily find all the anti-israeli and anti-conservative based news that they are looking for. Way to go National Palestinian Radio! Tax-payers money well spent!

  • Liberal Party have become the very enemy they fear!

It's very simple they say one thing yet do an other "was it not Bill Clinton (all loving of Gay's and so on.. Democrat) that put the GAYS back in the Closet with his "don't ask, don't tell".. now the NPR is not all accepting of anyone that does NOT feel the very same with there political view point. This is Unhealthy for America its a violation of all our Rights of Free Speech here in U.S.A., I USED to have NPR on my Radio/TV - NOW REMOVED!

  • "Your tax money goes for this"? "Your" tax money doesn't add up to enough to wipe a gnats ass.

  • No more tax money for you, you pieces of garbage.

  • My tax money goes for this garbage? Not for long.

  • NPR's website just went down.

Dina Temple-Raston was busted on her weekly report on American home grown al kaeda terrorists. a poster revealed that the names she gave and photos were people identified being members of the Jewish Defense League.

the propaganda machine is so fast, the youtube link revealing their identities is gone too.

  • thank you so much, what a great help!

  • Can you imagine if they did drug testing at NPR ?!

There wouldn't be an NPR anymore !

(ever been to one of their parties...?)

  • NPR is the best radio station in the world

    fuck yea!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Are there any Conservative Journalists out there that are not independent and are not Democrat?

  • This is a beautiful web site! Will this help avoid layoffs?

  • Really nice.

  • Website looks great!!! I love NPR!!!

  • I like NPR, but still don't really get it as the stories are often serious but still very jingoistic.

of course that has nothing to do with the website, which looks great. What is more is that it looks like a lot of work went into the Navigation, and this is awesome because it really makes a huge difference....

    thanks.

  • NPR FTW!

  • Looks great. Was this done in-house? Can be a get a bit more background information.

  • Glad you liked it! NPR hired me to conceive and create the video - I'm a filmmaker in NYC. I recorded Scott doing an "unofficial walkthru" of the site without him knowing it-- good thing he liked it so much. :)

  • Thanks for replying. Nice! I'll take a look at your other video work.

  • Yep, it was done in-house. Many months ago, we formed a redesign taskforce made up of coders, designers, UX people, project managers and editorial producers, then took them off their regular rotation to focus solely on the redesign. It's also the first project that NPR has done using the Agile software development methodology.

  • We also worked with a Schematic during the early phases of the project. They helped develop the specs and design comps for the site, then our in-house team put it together.

  • Looks awesome; I can't wait!

  • Great job, NPR! I wish every site would produce a video as clean and helpful as this when they change their design.

  • This is the finest tour of a redesigned site I've ever seen. (The site itself is much improved too.) Stunning work.
