  • i am so looking foward to them blues i want a good tug on my line

  • Put the rod between your legs or under your belly button, you get much better leverage and balance. Surf rod should never go under your armpit. Let the rod and reel do the work, no nerd to be walking backwards. Great catch though.

  • What lb test leader did you use?

  • Very nice!!!

  • we call it tailor here in australia :)

  • cool story bro!

  • I dare you to put your pecker in ones mouth.

  • @erichoward15 i have before...and now they call me halfdick.

  • @jeeptoker HAHA that's hilarious.

  • Looks like joey harrisons surf club in the background?

  • Cought 4 55 pound blues

  • But why is there always a voice excaiming "oh my god"? Americans........

  • @micuzzu67 It's not because they're American. It's because the person holding the camera is a woman.

  • u can use that combo 12 pound/25 brAID but it,s going to give u one hell of fight beaching the blue in with any blue over 10 pound iv been there on the sand with a combo like that if u want that fight then do 4 it its fun to have light line running but if it,s as u say u should be able to beach just about anyblue, its going to fell like a tuna with 12 pound test running but that,s what makes it badass

  • Hopkins - tried and true!

  • did you eat them?? blue fish are my favorite :3

  • @peaceman215 Have you tried striped bass? Zey are ftw.

  • where is this?

  • I use a rig called a mullet rig. You have a floater with a wire that has a end shaped into a hole. You take the wire, insert into the the mouth of a finger mullet and pass it out through the anus (Haha go ahead and laugh). Then you put on a special hook that kinda looks like two hooks stuck together, into the end of the wire and stick on point into the mullet to ensure good handling and voila! Solves tail biting bluefish.

  • What pound test do you use?

Me and my dad only get to go blue fishing one week a year so i wanna know if 12 pound mono with a 25 pound braid leader would be good for landing fish this big (or even bigger)

    Please reply

  • i love surf casting. even if i onjly get to do it a couple of times a year. great video

  • u must read this. once u have started there is no turning back. a little 10 year old girl was raped and murderded in 1945. her body was not found until 1947. then a boy last week read this and did not copy and paste this message. the dead girl appeared in his room haunting him and killed him. if you do not copy and paste this onto 10 vidoes in 30 minutes the dead girl will apear in your room tonight and haunt you and kill you. well you better start to copy and paste to be saved

  • Yum! Excellent eating. Anyone who doesn't think so, simply can't cook fish.

  • u guys r lucky !!

all the blue fish (tailor) we have here in australia are midgets compared to those u can easily catch from the beach.

how do u catch them other than lures ?! what type of bait ??! gang hooks ??!

they only eat whole fish bait here and when we use cut bait from beach the herring would come faster and lick it before tailor know that there was a bait.

and we can't use lure in metro areas because they are rare.

  • Dude next time you don't put your fingers closer thn 2ft from bluefish's mouth... LOL

  • how to you know the fish are there is it just trial and error

  • what bait are u using and what kind of rig

  • he is beee-u-t-full !!

  • Thats a Hopkins lure, Tony Acceta's work too but are not very heavy. Anything that flashes and wobbles will attract bluefish

  • great video and fish keep the videos coming

  • THAT'S A GOOD ONE!! NICE JOB!!!

  • that ant no 10 lb blue

  • nice blues, where were you?

  • rod between legs works better, ,and dont walk back til its close.

  • What type of lures did you use man?

  • Nice Blue! Gotta love the Hopkins!

  • hey, what kind of lure did you use?

  • @footballnfishin Looks like a spoon w/ bucktail.
