  • Since when I was a very small child, Francis Albert Sinatra has beem my most favorite singer. It won't change till I die, I swear..

    Thank you, 60otaku3!

  • You're welcome, citydoglife-san!!

    Otaku3 (*^o^)/

  • lovely!!!!!!

  • lovely!!!!!!

  • Mr. Sinatra is hands-down the greatest singer in the history of civilization. No one comes close, nor will anyone ever come close, and this includes every singer that will ever live until the sun goes nova 5.2 billion years from now.

  • The orchestration was scored in Heaven. Then, "Da Voice" brought it down to gritty ol' Earth. Have a martini . . . or two . . .

  • Who disliked this? Sue him. Shoot bullets through him.

  • We Miss You Frank!!

  • Amazing and spectacular sing !!

  • They played 4-hour blocks of Sinatra every satureday, they did. The Golden Oldie radio station, here at SF Bay. Of course, they're long gone, for it was more than 10 years ago.Saturday with Sinatra.

  • Grande Frank!!!!!!!

  • I love Autumn in New York, I live here and it's beautiful. I'm a dreamer with an empty hand to hold. But am hoping to hold another hand before I kick the bucket, lol. Caryl McD

  • so beautiful...and so reminicent, of the way things were...

  • 0000h! What "dreamerstillabl" said!!! Had so very many great adventures in New York with my now beloved wife there. Had no money, oh but honey, we had fun.

Frankie was in great voice for this album. It came out when I was at the University of South Dakota. A few years later, I lived and loved in New York. And now we are sl000wlyworking on a movie that centers in Central Park.

  • Oh my...How desperately I miss music sung by singers with wonderful voices who could simply sing a song and bring out feelings you didn't know you had. How sad today's overblown music with overhyper vocal exercising sounds. The music, if it can be said to be music today, is lost in the vocal hype. Only Harry Connick, Jr., could do this song today. Beginning to hate what passes for music today.

  • what a cozy soft feeling this song gives me, it's my dream 2 go on at least 1 date w a guy in my lifetime that can sing like this ..... i dig this 1, makes me feel .......oooooooh-

  • @sassyvixen007 It will only always be a dream, cos most guys can see, smell and hear, and when they hear you, they cover the ears, when they smell you, they hold the breath, when they see you, they run a mile and keep running!!

  • Is it sad that at the mere age of 23 I can recognize that there probably will never be a time where music was this good? I don't listen to the radio because they don't play good music. All i listen to anymore are old vinyl albums of Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Sam Cooke, Billie Holiday, and Thelonius Monk.

Oh well. Thank God we have Mayer Hawthorne.......that kid has soul

  • I miss New York and I miss Frank Sinatra,, but the music replaces the longing. An era when it was good to enjoy romantic music. Thanks for the posting. Long live music from and for the heart.

  • You're welcome, dreamerstillable-san!!

    Otaku3 (^_^)/

  • @dreamerstillable Then there was beauty. Now there is beauty. Beauty has changed. Change is beauty.

  • This was the first song I ever heard from Sinatra after NewYork New York. I was a kid and discovered an oldies radio staion. They played this song and I had NO idea Sinatra had a body of work this beautiful. He gives me chills.

  • This man will remain the best. Only once in a lifetime. Absolutely great.

  • @niteworx

He was the greatest entertainer of the twentieth century.

  • no matter how down you may be, just a little dose of Sinatra can send you into dreamland again...

i'd love to hear 'drinking again'....if you can find it..

thank you for this song, it's one of the best....no doubt

  • You're welcome, joannezarola-san!!

  • Great song, great album, 60otaku3....can you upload the rest of this album?? I had it once on LP and like a dummy I sold it....bought the CD a few years back. One of my favorite songs from this album is "It's Nice To GoTravelin'" Can you upload that one? I'd love it if you could! Let me know.

  • Thanks rsingactdan-san!!

I also owned once this LP record

but I do not have this album now.

This used the audio file that I got from my friend who was a big fan of Sinatra.

Therefore, I cannot accept your request.

    I am sorry....

  • This is one of Sinatra's most nuanced vocal performances. Certainly one of the best from his Capitol recording years.

  • Thank you for the comment, peeterpoon-san!!

I love some albums which Sinatra recorded to Capitol Records in 50's and I think that all of them are masterpieces.
