Anyway he was stabbed in the heart, so I doubt he would be able to campily walk round the room gurning at people.

@SpankTV well, I've read some stories of soldiers from WW2 and some soldiers were able to walk against the enemy with bullet hole in their heart, sometimes up to 10 steps before dying. IMO the main factor is where and how bad the heart has been wounded.

@EkzzS no, it'll take a lot of time. But this is a f...ing movie. It completely breaks the tension of the scene when you must wait that long for something simple and obvious to resolve. This was a lame attempt at a "realistic" death.

It was obvious from the beginning of the scene that this would be a fatal blow, and that the bad guy would not survive. Prolonging this for so long just killed the scene.
