In fact the very opposite would be shown (if we accept this claim). It would show Africans (blacks) are easily the biggest failures of all people. It would suggest they had everything going for them and not only lost their civilizations but disappeared (in this case) almost entirely into remnants.

At 3:40 in this video a woman states that her African ancestors were on North America prior to the break up of Pangaea. This is RIDICULOUS !! Pangaea broke up around 180 MILLION years ago during dinosaur times. Hominids did not even evolve until around 4 million years ago tops and modern Homo sapiens date to not more than a quarter million years ago at best. There is no evidence of human habitation in North America prior to the last glacial maxium around 18,000 yrs ago. How embarrassing.

First of all Pangaea began to separate about 200 million years ago there were no humans. Second Its true that we spread out from africa as black skinned, but it took tens of thousands of years to reach america in that time skin shades had changed to lighter shades. The dark skin--skin that can produce large amounts of melanin (which is found is the human brain, too) is just the dominant trait.

@bakerboisp Even today, there's a huge lack of awareness of African accomplishments in mainstream society. I recently withdrew from an African history course where the professor wouldn't stop talking about the Europeans during the first week and never mentioned a single African culture by name.
And then you have all those people who think Africans all live in mud huts and think that Africa has always been underdeveloped (when it was really screwed over by colonialism)... It's terrible.
