i copied the clip and put it above the one below and brightened the copied clip. then i split the copied (and brightened) clip into 8, splitting on each different note, and then used "event pan/crop" to crop each one differently... i'm not very good at explaining things but i hope this is ok! oh and it was also done with sony vegas
