I just saw it. It was okay as a movie. Alot of problems with keeping the feel of 1980 New York. Other then that it was interesting. Just wish they would have rounded out the other characters. We know nothing of his wife, not much about his mother. All in all I give it 7.5 out of 10 stars. If allowed a bigger budget this movie could have been something worth.

I kinda think this will put John back in the limelight and bring awareness and remembrance to his legacy. This can be a catalist for jOhns return! All we need is love!! John publically lived the best and the worst. His final days were humble and remorseful for any of the past. He was over the rediculousness and left an record of that. I diddn't see anyone shed a tear for them. Plus even though i respect John i don't believe he was anything special either. There have been thousands before him who have preached peace and world unity, and like those before him he ended up learning the hard way that its never gonna happen cause we all have differences in some way or another. Plus with all the controversial things he has said in his career, i would think it to be foolish for him to just walk the streets without any protection.

Just look at Heath Ledgers death. I just saw it. It was okay as a movie. Alot of problems with keeping the feel of 1980 New York. Other then that it was interesting. Just wish they would have rounded out the other characters. We know nothing of his wife, not much about his mother. All in all I give it 7.5 out of 10 stars. If allowed a bigger budget this movie could have been something worth.
I miss John as well and the death scene broke my heart and I can see why it would anger alot of fans. The movie doesn't hold back.

I wish Lennon were still alive, not just because of his musical brilliance but, because he had such a clarity of what could make the world a much better place to live in. This film will come and it will go but Lennon's spirit will live on in his words, his activism, and his music. So let's not replace his spirit with vengeance for who George Harrison referred to as "the devil's best friend, someone who offended all". It's a waste of time and energy. Peace.
