  • Love this tank setup you have there 5-5

  • wwwaaaaaauuuuuuuuuuuu super aquarium super oskar

  • Awesome tank

  • nice set up bro

  • Hey man,

Mfker right??? what sort of cats are they with your O's are the pictus???

  • Yeah on MFK under the same name..

yeah those are pictus... i still have them but all the fish are in a bigger tank now... got a couple more cats aswell ;)

  • WOW! I always thought that a Fire Eel needed its own tank. You have helped me a lot. I am setting up a 120gallon with 2 Alligator Gars, one or two Oscars, and a Fire Eel(getting it online so I can get all the fish to be about the same size).

  • glad you like it... yeah they are great fish and live well with oscars... dont think the alli gars will bother them though you should get spotted gar instead... as alligators grow like 5ft long"!

The spotted are small and can keep in a 120G

  • ya my Alligator Gars are only like 3 inches long right now. I have never seen a Fire Eel in my local fish stores so I might have to buy it online.

  • they are definately worth it... and pretty easy to keep too... and if you give them a couple of years youll have a 3ft long monster fish that you can keep in a 125G tank :D

  • are your oscars red oscars? i just got a red oscar today and i wanted to know if it will look like yours when i gets big

  • one is a pure red oscar the other has a bit of tiger in him (the one with the black markings on his side). so yeah they will look pretty much like that when bigger

  • sweet thanks man

  • ya. cool. I am really looking forward to the new tank!

  • 300 gallons wow. That would be huge. There is a 250 gallon at a pet store I go to and that thing is just massive! Your Eel and Oscars would absolutely love you for that, but it seems they love you already.

  • Nice to here you're respecting the species :)

  • :)

I am trying to convince my GF that we need a 300G tank hehe... we'll see

  • That Fire Eel will eventually outgrow your aquarium. You'll have to invest in a larger tank when the time comes.

  • yeah they all in a 150G now... and looking to go bigger aswell :)

    Check out my newer vids

  • how much did all ur overfiltering stuff cost? cuz i would rather have something too powerful than not powerful enough lol

  • im just using two fluval FX5 filters ( they were £150 each) and a tetratec EX1200 external cannistwer (cost £120)

  • all kinds of oscars grow big?

i have an orange-colored oscar (blood oscar, as what they call in the pet store).

what should i feed it? it's 3inches big.

  • yeah they all do grow big... around 35cm after 2 years... first year they will grow to around 8"

  • How did you manage to keep your tank so clean?

  • that tank was very overfiltered... used a fluval fx5 and a tetratec EX1200...

I also used a lo9t of actiuvated carbon to take out any discolouration in the water...

New tank that they have now has two fluval FX5's :)

  • what are the fish at the bottom??

  • they are pimeloduis pictus catfish

  • how old is ur oscar?

  • my oscars are about 2.5 years old now...

  • how big

  • I havent taken them out to measure them but they are around the 30-35cm mark... very thick aswell... they arent growing much longer anymore, only getting really chunky :)

  • your tank is a lot cooler then mine. mine is a 10 gallon tank with 2 guppies and a fish that i do not know the name of but is pretty cool.

This fish gets 4 itches should i get a bigger tank?

  • not really a frenzy

  • guess so :P

  • Holy cow do they really need that much food?

  • they can eat a lot... i like to give them some live food for treats every week.... i usually give them around 50 rivershrimps on saterdays and it goes in roughly 2-3 minutes

  • what size of tank is that

  • its a 55gallon tank.... and its fast becoming too small for them so I am getting a larger one soon :)

  • nice eel, nice healthy treat.

  • another great video. Nice job twicksisted!

  • gr8 tank...simple but nice...and love the eel!

  • what volume does your tank hold?

  • 55 UK Gallons... before you tell me its too small for 2 oscars, dont worry as I am getting a much, much larger tank soon :)

Just still looknig for the perfect one and deciding on what filtration setup I want to go with (wet / dry sump or cannisters etc...)

  • rivershrimp for 1.50 pound means like $ 5 or so in Canadian.... thats pretty good deal for all that live food:) thanks for speedy replies

  • i enjoy the simplistic look to your tank:D, howd you get so many lil shrimps?

  • thank you. I bought the rivershrimp at the fish shop near my house... only £1.50 for the lot :)

  • the first time I saw the vid, I thought it was arthemia, is that a FIRE-EEL ???

  • yeah thats a fire eel... and those were river shrimps... loads of them :)
