I just saw Mary Timony in her new band Wild Flag, twice, this past weekend! I also saw her at Spaceland, this small club in Los Angeles, like in 2004 or 2005. I thought she never did Helium songs anymore though, I wish she would've at that show, that would've been cool as hell. Her music has a light and airy side to it but can also be very dark and brooding at the same time. I wonder if she regrets that whole "sex kitten" image that the Helium videos gave her?

Damn I can't believe she played a Helium song. And such a good one. Wish she would have played that in '05 when I saw her.
