The background should be black when fighting Bowser. I like the bar at the bottom that shows how close you are to the cliff, but I didn't notice it until I read about it in the uploader's comment. There should be an info box before this area that tells the player to watch the bottom of the screen and explains what the green / yellow / red transition means.

Hmm.. just use warp blocks at the castle entrance ( The castle at the end) so you warp back to the castle at the beginning.
