I am not claiming that Morocco is paradise on earth, but it is definitely the hell u want us to believe it to be. If you want something, u have to fight for it. This is the rule everywhere. Only the fittest survive. Unemployment is everywhere, corruption is everywhere, crime is everywhere, why would u think that Morocco should be any different????

Sorry to put things this way, but while the finest people of this country used to say the things u wrote a decade ago, only the losers keep repeating them today! People who couldn't tie themselves to their school chairs long enough to secure an education and get a degree that would help them find a job. In modern Morocco, u only have to study (and excel) to be able to lead a good life. I am speaking out of experience here.

Just because u don't like the results doesn't mean that that's not what the majority has chosen. After all democracy doesn't seek to please EVERYONE, it simply seeks to please the majority. While I agree that this government is probably not the best we've had in the last decade, it is still the choice of the majority and that makes it legitimate. Don't compare Morocco with Egypt, they can't be compared. The quality of life is so much better here and we're granted much more freedom that Egyptians

I am a pure Moroccan, living in Morocco and can't help but disagree with Mr rifo. While what he said was true about a decade ago or more, it is absolutely untrue today. Morocco is moving forward fast and with steady steps. and the government is definitely elected. Who are u fooling when u say they weren't elected??? people (journalists and activists) came from all over the world to monitor Morocco's last elections and they all agreed that they were fair.
