This is EXACTLY what I believe. However, I also believe (know) that Jesus died for ALL.. (not just some 'elect' few)... and in His death, resurrection and ascension, that is God's OFFERING His Gift of Grace to all... and we have the free-will to either accept it and have it.. or reject it and not have it.
We hear the Word and we are drawn.. prompted by God to believe by faith and receive it. God calls ALL.. most ignore His call. Those of whom heed His call, He elects to save.
