today the 13th of november 2010,the first time i heard this song in 16 yrs,and it really had me singing. i was at work when it came on, surprisingly, even to me, i sang the words line for line like i wrote the damn thing,yup, i still remembered it. man ,songs like this you jus cant find nowadays. where have all the good songwriters gone??? for all you people who really appreciate good music, take some time to listen shanice's DONT BREAK MY HEART.underrated,but a damn good singer. luv this song.

It was written for her by the talented Daryl Simmons on her 21...Ways To Grow album released in 1994. If you know Shanice's reputation, you would see why this song was quite suited for her. Just a pity Motown didn't release it as a single for more people to hear it.

@iriear- heard this song on (then called) 92.3 the beat in LA. Theo was the popular DJ then and he looveedd him some Shanice and played this song. My boyfriend and I broke up that same night and I have tried to find this mysterious song...that I heard that night and that night only..it waws like the backround song to one of the milestones in my life...lol! sorry TWI but I love love love shanice!
