@showjumper54 it helps to get the horse on the right canter lead and also if you take canter from a shorter distance you can see the stride more and they're less likely to take the jump tto close or too far away :) x

if u want to keep ur pony for a long time i would recament tht u dont jump 3'9" i know someone that jumped their pony that high and in the same month the pony could not handle the jumping on his legs that he could barley walk... nd some ponies take a longer time to come to this point then others.

I just got my first pair of tall boots and i keep having the leg sliding back problem when i go over jumps it's soooo hard to keep them still!! What kind of saddle do you have? How did you get your leg so solid?

lol lotsa practice. this will sound conceited but i've always had a pretty good lower leg. xD I used to do the eq circut, sooo... lol

umm, i just keep my heel down an my leg on. i had the same problem with my new tall boots. just break them in or you can buy this spray that makes your boots kinda sticky and not so slippery.

i have a courbette 16" saddle. i love it.

lower leg: just keep your heel down and relax through the knee and thigh. if you're having trouble, practice over cross rails 1st
