  • Is that Trey Parker at the beginning?!? He would have been 20 or 21 at the time and I know he was doing some work in college, so it's not impossible (although highly unlikely). It REALLY sounds like him, though.

  • She's like a classy parody to Bette Midler!

  • Truly, this is a MMMMMMMMMMMMMMagnificent song!

  • What if the M words all went away? answer: NO MUPPETS!!

  • That song just took me back into the pass as a teenager. I was always singing that song everywhere I go in my teenage years.

  • If only Sesame Street was Much More Marvelous than the show today.

  • @classicssmfan

It seems that a lot of people like to find fault with "Sesame Street" today. In my opinion, it is not nearly as good as it once was!

  • omg i remember this i loved this one

  • I REMEMBER THIS!

  • So Do I! I even taped in on cassette!

  • Minus the M-words, there'd be no marvelous Muppet memories....great clip!

  • I love this song. I loved Miss M when I was little still do Miss M rocks. I didn't know Bette Midler played Miss M. I am a Bette Midler fan she's ace. Miss M and Bette Midler rule.

  • No melody?

    hahahaha

  • Yes you go Miss M you rock.

  • MMM More I remember this. I have been looking for this everywhere.

  • MMMMMuch funny!!!

  • All right! I hoped someone would upload this. I always loved it.

Is this supposed to be a parody of something? And who voices Miss M? She sounds like Patti LaBelle at the beginning.

  • Can't answer the singer query for sure, but it's a parody of Bette Midler's "You Got To Have Friends". She's well known as the Divine Miss M. Terrific upload, thank you so much!

  • Sounds like Camille Banora to me.

  • Or maybe Louise Gold?

  • Ivy Austin, perhaps?

  • Fantastic! I've been looking for this for a long time! I love the sequin decorations in the background.
