This song was always called Verse Chorus Verse whenever it was played on the radio here on the old 104.3 k rock. Sometimes it would even be called Happy Hour. It wasn't until the box set came out that I saw this referred to as Sappy (the slow version had previously been called Sappy on bootlegs).

I'd say at least five. There's an acoustic version, slow version, differing live versions and this one. I know that doesn't count to five but this was a song Kurt worked on for years. I don't think he was ever satisfied with it, which was why it wasn't on "In Utero". The live versions are better anyway.

There's an acoustic version (titled "sad" on the "Mellow 4-Track Shit" tape.) The Endino sessions version from Sliver, the one from No Alternative/WTLO, The Smart Sessions version, and an unreleased, incomplete version from the Nevermind sessions.yes, there is 5, but only 4 are circulating in media.
