The artists did more than just merely draw parralels between the scenes, they also made episode 10 reflect the changes that Homura's wish made. I prefer the original version of Homura's Theme, because it is a lot more "hollow" and mechanical, which is a very good description of who Homura becomes.
This is the artistic unity and forethought that the artists used for this anime. I think it really paid off ^.^ I also like how it isn't a downer plot OR a happily ever after one, it's just "real".

omg everything is like the opposite, Homura opposite of madoka, close up oppostie of far view, even there position of standing while they walk is opposite, wow the creator put alot of thought into this show, love it, 1 of the anime that should be atleast 24 episodes, what a shame, great job by the way! When I first saw Madoka turn around in ep 10 I started to cry becouse it finally cleared up the reason who Homura was making thoes faces in ep 1.
