I just recently purchased Spider-man 2 (it's in the mail) because my son and I have mastered Ultimate Spider-man. I have noticed that Spider-man 2 generally has better reviews and I was wondering if someone could tell me why that is. Ultimate Spider-man is actually how I picture Spider-man (Young, skinny, flipping all over the place) and I like the art style and voice acting. The Spider-man 2 gameplay looks very bland in comparison. (Going 100% off youtube videos.) Not hating: genuinely curious.

@skl0028 Yes it is genernally more "realistic" and that makes spiderman 2 a little bland Id say go for spider man 2 and get 3 and web of shadows and all the other new ones they rock. I can't wait to get them myself with my new computer setup.

They are confusing in appearance because, Ultimate Spider-Man copied alot from Spider-Man 2, like the races, the map on the screen, the dives, the only things that are different is only SOME of the graphics and the combat moves the buildings are really the same except that u get more of manhatten than u do of queens in this game
