  • What about the girl? She saw it all!

A bird? A plane? No, a psychotronic weapon, the kind responsible for all the recent haking of high profile people, suicides, sudden deaths that forensics can not explain.

ORMETÁ, the mafia code of silence.

You will never say anything to anyone what you saw is the truth?

I just saw a harlot whose mother is Babylon, always drunk with the blood of Christians.

  • This is my favorite song on the album for some strange reason

  • @themetalman34 me too. I actually think the album is overrated, but this is a great song.

  • best band ever

  • So you think Twenty Twelve is gonna be a good year.

  • Gotta 2012 gonna be a good year :D

  • 12/31/2911

  • So you think 2012 is gonna be a good year?

  • I'm pretty sure the Mayans, who also believed the earth is flat, the gods had large foreheads and crossed eyes, will not successfully predict the "end of the world". What about the alternate theory: they had an incomplete counting system.

  • @merrybells123 finally someone makes sense

  • This songs a classic

  • "I had no reason to be over-optimistic,

    But somehow, when you smiled,

    I could brave bad weather..."

    Such beautiful words. <3

  • I should be sleeping right now...but I can't stop listening to the Who..

  • yes, this is my favorite of Tommy....

  • Do you think 20 and 1 is gonna be a good year?

  • Got a feeling 2012 is gonna be a good ye- oh, wait... CRAP!!

  • @spudmuffin99 Its not gonna happen. Imo I think Gore will be laughed at once that year passes.

  • @rockfan363 what does Gore have to do with 2012? It was a mayan calendar...

  • @spudmuffin99 Seriously?? I thought the mayan calendar wasn't alone in proving 2012. I'm an idiot.

  • @rockfan363 if you believe 2012, then you are...

  • @spudmuffin99 I do not believe it at all, but let's stop talking about this topic so we won't upset other users

  • Got a Feeling 2020 is gonna be a good year

  • everything is absurd in this song.... 911 to kennedy fucking absurd... i would like to mention the word "absurd" but it was removed during the viet nam war...

  • Vocals are fantastic in this song!

  • @xomnichaserx Everything is fantastic in this song!!!

  • Strangely enough, it sounds clear and very emotional!

Great words, feeling, and sounds, they are all in this work!

I can hardly bump into a song like that in the 21st century (!)

  • me on December 31st, 2011 at 11:59:

GOTTA FEELIN' TWENTY TWELVE IS GONNA BE A GOOD YEAR! :)

  • What about the boy?

  • In the 60s we had songs like this, singing once the line "got a feeling '21 is gonna be a good year".

Today we have songs that repeat millions of times the line "I got a feeling that tonight is gonna be a good night".

    :(

  • Oh man, only 10 years until '21.

  • What about the boy?

  • Master piece of The Who. So touching, intense and beautiful.

  • i love having a couple.....beers and singing this song out loud!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • grande pezzo da un grande album

  • Gotta feelin' Twenty "leven is gonna be a good year

  • Gotta feeling Twenty Twelve is gonna be a good year. Especially if you and me all explode together.

  • @ShatteredBomb I had no reason to believe in Mayan folktales...

...but somehow when it went viral, I could fear Nibiru.

  • i still think quadrophenia is better

  • @LolBerryProductions Blasphemy .. even though Quadrophenia is an awesome album!

  • So you thing 11' is gonna be a good year? Could be for me and her but for you and her? No, never. I had no reason to be over optimistic.

  • got a feeling 2011 is gonna be a good year

  • one person is deaf dumb and blind

  • This album is amazingly incredible. However, I never had the chance to listen to Quadrophenia. Is it better?

  • @ BeerwithDonuts ... Tommy has a musical purity and lyrical innocence that is beautiful, but Quadrophenia has an emotional rawness; deeper, darker, yet still quite as beautiful as Tommy. I prefer Quadrophenia; particularly, "Love Reign O'er Me" and "I've Had Enough". But it's all beautiful music ... Pete Townshend is a brilliant, beautiful spirit.

  • @jmcbogue

    Agree! Well put.

Read somewhere Townshend "most proud" of Quadrophenia...

  • I didn't notice this before, until I listened through ear phones...but there's an argument between the "boy" and the older man (probably Pete Townsend)...

The boy keeps insisting that he saw it, every word of it...and he is being told that he didn't see it, didn't hear it, not a word of it...it's a new experience for me to listen to this song through headphones.

  • one thing i've never got about this song. where exactly does it say that tommy's dad kills him?

  • @kraken589 I've never quite gotten that either.

  • 1 person had a feeling that 2001 was gonna be a good year.

  • I got a feeling 2011 is gonna be a good year. But I say that every year!

  • you didn't see 911 (i sarw it) you didn't hear it (i heard it), you won't say nothing to no one- ever in your life... how absurd it all seems wit out any proof.

  • this probably takes people back to the 60s, when real music was produced

  • @japaneseboy47 Oddly enough, a song about (in-story) 1921 bringing people back to the 60s. :-P

  • Got a feeling 2011 is gonna be a good year! thou it doesn´t sound as great lol!

  • Yeah, new years 2021 is gonna kick ass.

  • got a feeling twenty twelve is gonna be the bad year.

  • @DrumFrenzy123

    not funny

  • @monicatov

you are a very confusing kid. your christian? i thought rock and roll relates to the devil according to many christians?

  • @monicatov Random statement is random.

  • They want me not to tell anyone about my experience with psychotronics machines, because that is the truth.

"Meu grito de revolta será ouvido nos quatro cantos da terra" Amilcar cabral poeta caboverdiano

My shout will be heard on the four corners, telling the truth so loud no one will be able to hear the TV

  • excelenteee!!

  • I saw the musical a couple of years ago live. IT was fucking amazing.

But I do prefer the who's version. I think the movie failed :(

  • Their voices are so unbelievable from 1:15 - 1:40 . That moment is fantastic.

  • I love Keith's drumming on the album, is superb!

  • @raponte1955

    They shoulda recruited Ringo though

  • @yosoynumerouno1 Nah, he already put Pete Best out of work for a while. Why put two drummers out of work?

  • Got a feeling Twenty Ten is gonna be a good year

  • haha i've been singing that all week!

  • omg me tooo!!! )=

  • @bobbybocher7

Great song. Tommy always soothes my soul and believe me I need it right now

  • @bobbybocher7 haha yes!

  • @bobbybocher7 still feel that way?

  • @bobbybocher7 what about twenty eleven?

  • @bobbybocher7 and how was it?

  • @bobbybocher7 it was shit

  • @bobbybocher7 Twenty-Ten was crap!

  • @bobbybocher7 So you think Twenty Ten was gonna be a good year.

    Was alright for movies

    But for music- no never

  • @iamobeliskquake Something will come up. We can only hope! :)

  • im so addicted to this song

  • @stina6554 who isnt this song is so amazing!!!!!!

  • @stina6554 no you dident because you dident hear it , you dident see it , and you wont say NOTHING to NO ONE !

  • @urbanexplorer1996 dident?

  • @hendrixzilla didnt whatever lol

  • @hendrixzilla Nice job on the guitar on your channel page!

  • I love Pete's voice.

  • No, Daltrey sings the part of Tommy. Pete Townshend sings narration and much of the parents' parts. Keith sings Uncle Ernie. Entwistle does the brass horns you hear during sparks and the overture. He also wrote the songs "Cousin Kevin" and "Uncle Ernie" In the film, Tommy is played and sung by Roger Daltrey.

  • @littlebrownlab I know you commented on this a while back, but Keith only sings Fiddle ABout (uncle ernie) in the movie. In the album, John sings fiddle about and cousin kevin.

  • @knuckles362

in the movie, keith sings tommy's holiday camp too, besides fiddle about. :D

  • who sings tommys part?

  • enwistle

  • Daltrey

  • Roger does in the recording at least. Live I think they all do

  • never heard it sound that good. must have left my vinyl copy in the sun 40 years ago?

  • awesome
