  • Thank you!!!!!!!

  • Watched your 1st video and this one and you cracked me up! What a fun lady :) Glad it is working out for you :) I'm a momma of soon to be 5 kiddo's and have been CD for awhile. Loved your videos.

  • Probably a stupid question, but what do you do about the mess if you have to change a diaper away from home? ie: without hamper access...

  • @Tonysmom89 diaper companies sell travel-size wetbags -- i always just put the entire mess (diaper, wipes, and poop if present, haha) into the wet bag and take care of it when i get home. easy! or, you can just take plastic grocery bags. wetbags are washable and reusable though. :)

  • Which type of cloth diapers do you recommend for a newborn baby?

  • @elodie9 i've never CD'd a newborn, so i couldn't tell you from experience! but i've heard prefolds are the best, and that's what we plan to use with #2 due in october. :)

  • I cloth diapered my 3 kids with only pin on cloth diapers and rubber pants

I found they work great and didnt have any problems with them at all.

They are a cheap alternative and work great.

I would luv to see a side by side comparison of the modern cloth diapers with the older style flats or prefold cloth with the rubber/vinyl pull on pants ?

It would be very interesting to see that the older methods are just as good.

  • Love your vids. Will you be doing more vids?

  • @kidstwomany yes, yes.. hopefully soon! I miss doing videos, I just haven't had the time to sit down and edit one! I plan on making many more in 2011. Thanks for asking! :)

  • Hey girl! Thank u very very much for the videos, but I still have a question, what exactly are the Gerber Prefold Bridseye 3-ply diapers??? Or I am slow or what. I know what's a prefold birdseye diaper, but this Gerber ones confused me with the 3-ply thing. HELP? please!

  • @Bicholinda 3-ply means 3 layers of fabric. :)

  • @whitneycanales Thank u very much again!!!

  • Your prefolds and flat will make nice dusting cloths.

  • super helpfull!!! and your really funny!!!!

  • @unidenfaygo haha thanks!

  • Hello,

I was just wondering if you could make another update to let us know if you kept with the cloth diapering or not

    thank you

  • am trying to talk myself into trying cloth diapers with next baby - i also live in an apartment, so that's the only thing holding me back besides start up costs. i'm hoping you'll do another video all about washing diapers at the laundromat - how you go about it and any special tips you have in that department!

  • @fakecrab i wish i could have made a video about that! i sort of went on a hiatus there for a bit. perhaps i will write a blog post about it. :)

  • Thanks for the great websites! So what did you end up using those flat diapers for? I got a ton of them for my shower and wasn't sure if I should try to use them for diapers or just burp cloths.

  • @simplicity778 i use them to clean! we don't use paper towels, so they work great for messes.

  • If you do use a diaper pail with water in it---try a couple of drops of tea tree oil in there! Also --put a drop of lavender oil on a cotton ball in the deodorizer cover in the top of the diaper pail! Makes the diapers AND the bathroom smell fantastic! The tea tree oil also acts as a disinfectant!

  • @amishhorse thanks for the tips!! i would use tea tree oil because i LOVE the scent, but it always gives my son a rash. :( however, i also love lavender. mmm.

  • what do you do with poopy diapers? Do you have to scrape it off somehow?

  • @TechsTiler there are these things called diaper sprayers that hook up to your toilet and spray out high-pressure water, and they knock the poo right off into the toilet. however, WE don't have one (yet) so yes, I have to scrape the poop into the pot with an old spatula. not fun.

  • these is a great video

  • @julissa905 thanks!
