i had a '69 convertable, and '70 convertable, (both with 472's) loved them! sounds great. I had a chance to drive an Eldorado convertable, (500) oh my. Loved the '69 the most.....it's a keeper for sure,,,,good luck with it
My very first car was an all black 1969 Cadillac Sedan deVille, it had about 250,000 miles on it and still ran great but the body and frame were badly rusted. I'd love to get another one sometime :)
My Dad had a '69 Sedan DeVille. Dark green with matching dark green leather and brocade upholstery. Like a living room on wheels, though most cars were big and roomy at that time. What I remember was the power it had on the highway. The engine had so much torque, you never felt the hills. Endless passing power. Loved that car, of all the ones my Dad had.
So do you drive it or just fire it up once in a while?

Pretty noisy. Maybe needs a rebuild.

1969 is my all time favorite year of the automotive industry with 1968, 1970 and 1971 close behind

@Doobie1975
A 68 is a MUCH better looking car. I can understand comparing a 66-68 but a 69 isn't close to being on the same level, c'mon now!
