i have gotten out of the sport, but I did really like those brakes. They were super light and they really did stop amazing. I ran them both with a gyro setup and a straight linear cable and both setups stopped you instantly and smoothly. If you are looking to get them just look on some forums and buy them used. I think that when I recorded this video I got them for $25 online, but they are great brakes and it all depends on how bad you want them and how much you want to pay.
as most things in BMX its all up to personal preferance I ride a freecoaster becasue i do alot of 180 and ride fakie a lot if you see yourself doing a lot of spin tricks then i say go for the freecoaster
However the down side to freecoasters is that you have to give up a lot of grinds because most freecoasters aren't really built for it you could still grind but it would depend on how much you weigh and what you are grinding the other downside to freecoasters is that they are high maintenance
hey thats a nice bike but i dont recomend dk its not the greatest brand the best thing to do is take appart the whole bike sell piece for piece on ebay and i guarantee you will get more than you bought it for back. then with that money buy a complete and from then on build it up not dk this time though its not to great
you can get them on danscomp. I am selling this dk frame in the video. I am including the frame, fsa headset, and a brown fly 22mm bb with spacersd for 65 plus shipping.
ya, it is cool because you dont need a seat clamp, although new frames have integrated clamps. the post moves. It can really only go a couple inches high.
im kinda new to bmx (only about 3 months) i tried a 360 at these trails by my house last week end bent the shit out of my stock wheel ( 08 dk generel lee) and now i have about 190 to spend on a rear wheel but dont know what i should get any help ? im looking at a eastern jane rear wheel
How are the brakes? I'm thinking of getting them :)
