2 reasons why you should craft the Obsidian Shield rather than the Obsidian Horseshoe:

1) Obsidian Shield has 2 defense, combining the defense of the items that make it, where the Obsidian Horseshoe does not.

2) Getting either of the wing accessories immediately makes equipping any form of the the Horseshoe moot. The Shield in either of its forms maintains usefulness much longer.

So, in this case it isn't craftable.

I think this is kinda useless since most people get clouds or rocket/spectres to prevent fall damage. I would take obsidian shield over obsidian horseshoe.

obsidian horeshoe is really useless if you have an obsidian skull/obsidian shield and wings. I don't see why this was added.

This is vastly inferior to the Obsidian Shield (cobalt shield+obsidian skull), especially when you have wings which pretty much negate falling damage (Angel Wings, anyway.) Hero should really craft it.
