This is simply one of the most brilliant songs ever written. I wish I had written it. Life, love, futile attempts to be happy, what to do to get happy again, and a story that, if you've lived it, you will instantly bond with the song. The Avett Brothers are the best songwriters, the most well-rounded musicians, and because of years of hard travelling, the best performing group for my dollar. They are family, and they brought us fans together like family. Family is what life is all about.

Awesome! I love that this is what they do for their birthday parties! They are just the same as me or any other normal person, just extremely talented. It's too bad that they are larger then life and hard to get to know because I would love to just hang out with them and watch them sing in a simple setting like this!! Great video! Great setting!
