I'm from Ipoh too(live near the Perak Staduim...now working in Singapore...planning to take leave to go back...Virgobk is right no place comparable to one's hometown....just come back for a visit...it is really worthwhile :-)

my hometown is ipoh and now im studying in KL. but i still miss ipoh so much especially ipoh famous foods. ipoh is such a nice place for people to live and eat. :-)

Was this taken on a holiday or is Ipoh a very quiet town? The shops appeared boarded up & where are the people? I'm visiting in two days time from Sydney.Ipoh was my mother's hometown & I am so looking forward to seeing it for myself.
