issokay... thank you for posting this. My 4-year old dog has been experiencing these "episodes", but it wasn't what I thought seizures looked like. So I searched here in the hopes that someone posted their dog, so I could at least put a name to what he was going through.
For everyone critical out there, I used to take my dog to the vet each and every time he had a seizure, hoping they could "fix" it. I was assured he was not in pain or suffering during his seizures.
my dog is 12 and has had seizures since he was one , they dont affect his quaulity of life and hes had no madication, all he needs is me to sit with him when he fits and he is fine after
I just want everyone to know that this was NOT my dog, I had no control over what her owners did with her or fed her, but I know that she was given to a vet tech student so I don't need anyone telling me what to do with this dog. She was very old. I don't need your advice either so STFU.
my dog suffers from seizures after she got injected with anti rabies, distemper and bordetella. If you love your dog, please dont let anyone inject them with toxic chemicals and drugs.
It saves vastly more lives than it hurts. These vaccines are very important, and legally you are required to give them a rabies vaccination one every 1-3 years depending on your state.
Please do your research before you bring your beloved pets for yearly anti rabies shots! All independent research point to the fact that there is no benefit to it. One time shot of anti rabies will give them lifetime immunity! Yearly shots are done to make PHARMA companies and VETS more money! You will be subjecting your pets to serious side effects. My dog is still very sick from injections. She can hardly walk, has hind leg paralysis, has constant seizures and severe itching.
@kokolani You're on to it. The shots will NOT prevent rabies or any other disease, nor will vaccines prevent disease in humans. It's a nice little scam that's been making millions of children (and pets) ill while lining the pockets of pharma and they politician buddies. Autism IS caused by vaccines (among other things), as are seizures.

it's so sad how epilepsy had to be brought into this world. it's kinda like torturing a starving peasant with a full turkey meal combo, and just hanging it above their heads. i hate it when anyone has a seizure, i think it's just plain scary! it's really sad how everyone with epilepsy suffers so much.
Isn't this the petite mal seizure? I kind of recognise it. My dog has the grand mal seizures, haven't brought him to the vet yet, but hoping that the seizures would subside entirely as he grows up.
My dog was having siezures but had never seen a dog have one. This was a very helpfull video last night when I could not get in touch with the vet. Thanks
frontline, advantage, advantix, bio spot and all of the other brands of flea drops used once a month on your dog.contain an insecticid which contain neurotoxins that atack the nervous system of the flea causing brain ,spinal chord injurys and death.the insecticide neruotoxin can also affect your dog causing seizure's and death. 'ive seen both of my girlfriends dogs die from flea drop medication and my dog nearly died as well from the flea drop.I advise people to read up before purchasing them
If she is old and can't see well, she probably has Diabetes. Tell your folks to take her to the vet if they haven't yet, you can't leave that untreated.
We actually gave her to a vet tech after my nephew was born and required a full time nurse. They weren't able to take care of her. She's probably happier now.
Have your folks taken him to the vet for the seizures? They can be managed w/ meds. My chihuahua had them, too, but she takes phenobarbital to control them.
i hope he/she is ok

Actually she does move, I was moving her off of the carpet because she foams at the mouth at the end. I did not record that part.
issokay 1 year ago
Also, why are you telling a dog having a seizure to go to you? It's not gonna move.
gerardwayissexy360 1 year ago
It's over-excited to see you, that's why. Perhaps it's time to put the poor thing down if it's suffering like this?

yeah my dog is 11 years old and he has small seizures when he's laying down most of the time. it's really sad because you can't do much about it.
