  • To quote Dr Anna Nekaris a scientist who has been studying slow lorises for years, "Even the best breeding facilities have great difficulty breeding lorises, and those that do often have difficulty keeping them alive. It is so easy to get access to wild-caught lorises, it is highly doubtful that a seller who claims to have captive-bred ones is telling the truth." So even if this loris was bred in captivity you can garantee that it's parents were not

  • The owner of this video clearly dosen't log on deliberatly so they pretend not to see the calls to bring this video down whilst collecting his blood money for this video.

    We are onto you, Sergeyev

  • Comment removed

  • You should remove your Loris video. It was on British TV tonight saying how much it has contributed to the trade in the endangered Loris. Your continual ignorance is directly contributing to animal cruelty. You have no soul or decency

  • @sweetypie000 SHUT the fuck up, he shouldn't i could say the same shit about other animals like dogs, they're being treated just as bad as loris yet they still are kept as pets, this loris has been captive bred and it has not been harmed or looks any unhealthy it looks happy, i just hope any fucker who comments about this shit have some logic and think of the background and comparison to other endangered animals in captivity.

  • @Gritzaable they are not captive bred but caught in the wild.

  • @Gritzaable This particular individual animal might be being taken care of in a way that seems acceptable to many(though this is still questionable) The effect this video is having on the wider population is hugely damaging. Yes we can mention other animals that are also endangered. And question the concept of keeping animals as pet too. Neither of those things stop the criticism of this video being valid.

  • @Gritzaable The issue with videos of the 'cute' loris isn't one of where it was born. This video is instrumental in generating demand for this animal as a pet. That demand is partially satisfied with captured wild animals. It is the trade in Loris, encouraged by videos like this one which threatens to cause the extinction of a threatened species.

  • @Gritzaable Hey inbred, dogs are domesticated animals and have been side by side with man for millennia.

"comparison to other endangered animals in captivity." you total imbecile; you are not even worth replying too. It's people like you that have no brain, no soul and no conscience about the damage your childish and naive words have.

You are WORSE than the dealers. At least the dealer sells them for money in poverty stricken countries. YOU are the kind of soulless pig that buys them.

  • @sweetypie000 Nice one shame you're completely wrong with everything... I dont have any pets to be honest with yo so yeah your point is now invalid. As for my point its still a valid fact and before the "millennia" dogs were once wild but have been crossed bred for many years and are now domesticated if you've read my status and had the chromosomes you would have fucking known.

  • @Gritzaable We all have chromosomes, they are the basic building blocks. If you'd read school books you'd know that :)

Moraly I am right on most things because I am not selfish and ignorant. Shame you are immoral.

    take care now

    XxX

  • @sweetypie000 no shit but it seems like you're missing one, now please grow up as it seems like you're a complete hippy, i'm not ignorant i just take different perspective on things.

  • @Gritzaable Did you see the BBC docu about this animal called Loris? It was on the telly last night. If you didn't , well, then I can understand you being an ignorant, conceited, smug, shallow plonker. If however you did see it, well then Fuck you dickhead, wannabe so-called artist fail !! ): (

  • @arealbladeofgrass "so called artist" are you a fucking spastic?, fuck off you hippy.

  • Sweet as pie!

спасибо:) мы тоже очень любим своих лориков)

  • @shebo7733 спасибо:)

  • Guys, you comment saying it's illegal to have these pets... correction: it is illegal to trade them/buy them but to OWN one it is legal if you have a 'Dangerous Wild Animal License'. P.s read the friggin' description box next tim the lot of you; you're idiots and just assume that what they're doing is cruel and illegal. They bought her from a pet shop when she was raised from a Loris nursery, okay? they probably bought her to help her

  • @Okami266 only thing that is being helped is the continued illegal trade in these animals. You buy one, you are supporting the cruelty and exploitation and that is the fact

  • @7an1ce Dude, it's not illegal they raised it from a Loris Sanctuary... would you REALLY think they could even touch it if it was wild? it's not illegal to have one as a pet. I don't know if they still have it, but they evidently would have a Dangerous Wild Animal License which allows them to keep exotic and/or dangerous pets.

  • @7an1ce who fucking cares? it's obviously happy and doing great.

  • ---PART TWO---

    Her response was quote- "

from her psychological reactions would say a mix between "PLEASURE" or "--Slight Anguish-"" .. When i assumed anguish was when the eyes look down and off to one direction. That signifies Recollection, she's attempting to " recall a emotion of uncertainty. Judging from what i saw its a definitely positive reaction..Resorting from training, our studies were of human cognitive response process. Im not sure but i would assume they are similar to orangutan.

  • ---PART ONE--- (TWO posts)

I think this video is really cool ,seeing Sonya's reaction to tickling. That it being almost human like. After viewing it a few times, I was so intrigued I downloaded the 720P "High Definition" version to a DVD. I showed it to one of my friend's psychologists..She was blown away by Sonya's human like reactions. Her being one of the leading psychologist Washington state (Where i live) her response was quote.. (quote is in second post) Part 1/2

  • а где вы её купили :) ?

  • haha what the fuck what it that?

  • @ihrn

I don't know. I don't think it says in the title either..

  • I am an animal conservationist and specialise in projects involving the slow loris. PLEASE TAKE THIS VIDEO DOWN. You are contributing everyday to the reduction of numbers in thw wild. If you really love your slow loris - PLAESE TAKE THIS VIDEO DOWN.

  • she looks so sad when ya'll stop tickling her... those eyes! oh what a sweetie!

  • 00:10, Why did you stop?

  • Thumbs up if TrooperFX sent you here

  • I think is sad folks now think this is a cute pet to have. It's a highly sensitive animal that is nocturnal!! Why is it sitting in broad daylight? Oh thats right, YouTube is supporting the illegal trade and exploration of this animal along with it's inconsiderate caretakers.

  • My favorite thing about this video other than the loris, is the russian accent.

  • it looks like he accomplished something

  • That's f'd up!

  • You know they have a poisonous bite right?

  • The chinese, who we all bad mouth sell to Russians so dont vindicate yourself on those grounds. what your doing is not illegal but you shouldnt have this video up because it is seen worldwide and will increase demand for the loris. bad idea and totally irresponsible. yes i might seem like i am being mean to nice people but western society is far too forgiving of itself and finds it too easy to create distance from problems inflicted elsewhere.

  • Maybe I should consider buying stocks in your Airline Manager? ;P

  • I wanna tickle it <3

  • ich bin der Konich...

  • That has to be the cutest animal I have ever seen :3. I want one. NOW.

  • This animal is taken from criminals!

  • what a fucking dumb name for an animal '' slow loris''.... it's like .... ''family guy''.... ridiculus...

  • Was that a smile I saw? She's adorable.

  • huge hands for a girl =(

  • @peraltaman

or a small slow loris ;P

  • what is it? like actual name of animal!

  • @OptiDesign a slow loris

  • Environmentalists, vegans, animal rights activists and other fanatics - calm the hell down.

This cutie is much better off as a pet. Not everyone can afford one of these anyway, they are too capricious.

  • SO CUTE I WANT HER!!!

  • It's so cute.

  • LOL this is the cutest thing i've seen, ever.

It pisses me off hwne people post comments like "They belong in the wild! It longs for swinging in the trees!" yeah well I've got something to say to you hippies. In the wild they are at the bottom of the food chain and are always being hunted.

Just look at this thing. Its obviously spoiled beyond belief and has the best life a slow loris could have. I highly doubt it wants to live with hungry predators.

Also, never touch a low lorises elbows.

  • aaawwwwwwwwww.......

  • omg i want one so bad she is beyond adorable!

  • I love the Theremin-like sound Dmitry makes on the background around the end of the video. Slow Loris defines happiness :)

  • I reckon I could take it. How strong could it be, its only like a foot tall

  • Awwwww....how adorable :)

  • she must be a very happy loris

  • stops*

  • Omg, she is sooo cute! And see how she looks so sad when she stoped being tickled. Haha! :)

  • is that millsberry on the computer?

  • @98theawesome its not lol i thought that two

  • Такая няша!!! Да простят меня кошатники, это — няшнее некоторых котиков!!!

  • beautiful little thing

  • UBER-CUTE!! xD

  • I like to move move, you like to move move...

  • i cant stop laughing!! i want one!!

  • Lol, i love this big eyed furry animal! Heres what she is thinking. "i am loved, i am loved, i am loved, Aww, you dont love me anymore, yes, i am loved again."

Haha, keep posting videos of sonya being tickled. (: Btw, you cant say no to the face she made.

  • She must really love being tickled. Around :39 she looks like she's expecting more tickles. She's adorable.

  • I just LOVE sonya!!!! she is adorable, and looks like MUCH less of a troublemaker than Scoot! ;)

  • alexz johnson tweeted this!

  • OMG so cute !!

  • thats adorable !! <3

  • so fuckin cute :D

  • unbelievably cute but i`d much rather see her in her natural habitat, it makes me sad to see yet another wild animal, bred in captivity and used in the pet trade, they are born free and are not ours to take :(

  • i watch this daily

  • Slow lorises can produce a toxin which they mix with their saliva to use as protection against enemies. Mothers will lick this toxin onto their offspring before leaving them to search for food. The toxin is produced by glands on the insides of their elbows. The lorises suck it into their mouths and deliver it when they bite or lick. Loris bites cause a painful swelling, and the toxin is mild and not fatal.

  • delightful..., but it seems to me that they should live in freedom ...

  • We want to see more! Lol she is sososo cute

  • yeah very cute but, the slow loris is the world's only poisonous primate. Its venom is stored in an elbow patch: the loris will suck in the poison from the patch, then mix it around in its mouth before delivering a toxic bite.

  • yeh but its only for defense against potential predators and the toxin produced is not fatal and is relatively mild

  • SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE!

  • so cute!!!!! :3

  • I love him.

  • OMG i want one sooooo much :O it is the cutest thing i have ever seen :)

  • Now for the real comment, aww that is just too cute, how she just stretches her arms out like that, sort of reminds me of my cat, but he'd just sprawl out everywhere and anywhere.

  • (in response to prev comments)

I hate how people see an animal and automatically assume it was 'cruelly taken from the wild' it's just plain insulting to assume people are that ignorant and irresponsible, anfd it only happens to an unusual choice of pet, cats and dogs are mistreated pretty much jsut as much, but I don't see their owners gettign bashed just for having one.

  • Nature is brutal, miserable, and a constant struggle for survival. This animal is lucky to have a human home.

  • @TheWALOS I'm finding it hard to distinguish wether your agreeing with me or missing my point entirely.

  • I'm agreeing with you.

  • oh god i love these animals ;-;

  • SHE'S SMILING AT ME!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love Sonya.

  • ALEX HORNER

  • i love how she stares at u when u stop :P

  • @Fubar, what you are saying is unfortunately true, it happens to this species and the abuse is done by barbarians who catch and sell them in japan. it is really sad and this has to stop! i dont think, however, that the people who own this one would harm him in any way. he obviously has found a loving home. what happens to them before being bought is the problem

  • It's not illegal in Russia, and by saying this, that means you have to claim that house pets such as cats, dogs, fish, birds and others should also be left in the wild. There are other hypocritical and ignorant statements in your comment but I don't feel like getting into that.

Oh and I would also like to point out that your grammar is just as disgusting as you claim the owning this animal is, but that's irrelevant.

  • Did you hear me say it was ok to have those other animals as pets? its just as sick, de clawing cats, cutting of dogs body parts, having a bird in a cage, is just as discusting.

i like my grammar it sounds better than your sheep grammar, just cuse its cute, dont make it right. stupide dude.""

  • Sheep grammar? I've never heard of such.

Anyways, the entire argument I'm trying to point out is that, even though you claim this seems very wrong to you, you may be a hypocrite about the situation. That includes housing an animal, eating animals, or, really, anything to do with them, is hurting them some way or another.

  • dude, i dont eat other milk drinkers.

if it drinks milk from a boob, its my brother from a nother mother, eat plants, they taste good, and love you for it.

even tho everyone around you eats and kill other loving creatures renny, dont mean you have to, you can stop it right now.

  • What are you talking about?

I'm a vegan and have been for the past few years, but I'm not going to bash on people saying things such as what they're doing is wrong. Yes, it's sad. In some cases, like religion, it's against the bible to refuse meat because 'God' gave it to them, or something along the lines of that.

  • omg sooo cutee

  • SOOOO SWEEEEET!!!!

  • What the heck is that?!?!?

  • a slow loris!

  • you should stop promoting the keeping of the slow loris as a pet, they need specialised care... most are poached from the wild, suffer abuse and malnutrition and then are sold on the black market to consumers

  • Dude, lighten up. It's cute.

  • yes, like alot of animals...
