  • stop the lies and legalize

  • cigars kill son

  • What pisses me off about this video is the child-like music being played. If you don't agree with this, then you must be a moron. It's insulting how far the elitist "progressives" go to make their point.

  • This is simply ridiculous. For years people have said "the war on drugs doesn't work". How do you know that? Even if you legalized and taxed mary jane, do you really think the Mexican cartels would simply oblige to that? You are insane to think so. What it would do is force the Mexican cartels to simply buy off the Gov't, the power-greedy "representatives" that we have. Oh, that's just a great idea! Mexico is a shit-hole and the only thing keeping them afloat is our tourism and their drug trade

  • @DickLodge68 If we make pot as safe to buy as alcohol the drug cartels would have no business...no one would buy pot from drug dealers and what would drug cartels do? Honestly without the demand for pot they have no power look at the facts and make a logical decision

  • @thepolice911copeland Hey, I'm certainly no authority on the subject...are you? Didn't think so. But I am old enough to know better and the cartels wouldn't simply "roll over". You don't simply cut-off a huge amount of their money and don't pay for it through violence, bribery, and coercion. If you think that it would be a clean transition from an illegal substance to a legal one - you are insane. It's just my opinion...something to ponder.

  • @DickLodge68 but the brief time of violence would be alot easier than decades and decades of instability and yes i do look at prohibition it looked fine if we dont learn from the past we are doomed to repeat it

  • @thepolice911copeland Wow, put the bong down for a sec. Brief time of violence? What if that was your kid or your sister shot dead? Decades of "instability? WTF are you talking about? You must have the mind-set of "if you can't beat 'em join 'em". The US is pretty damned stable, it's Mexico that's on the threshold of collapse. Hmmm, why? Violence, bribery, and coercion. Perhaps you think all drugs should be legalized....then you can depend on instability.

  • Guys, take a second look at the proposition. There are statements in there that make it hard to enforce federal law.

  • @N7eightyeight Hahaa, just like it's hard for AZ to enforce illegal immigration laws...the ones the the federal government won't enforce.

  • vote yes for the rest of the country.everyone whats there bud.if you live in cali please go on nov.2 and vote yes

  • I'm voting YES too. Five years ago, I would've voted NO. But I realize that there are too many people being arrested for a "crime" that they commit against themselves. If they want to smoke this crap in the privacy of their homes, it doesn't affect me. So go ahead and let them do it. Personally, I can't stand the smell of marijuana. I hate it. But I don't see why I should spoil the party for other people who like it.

  • the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over over over and again expecting the same results...seems like americas pot policy to me

  • Everything about this is good for our country.. why keep our country in a shithole and change nothing.

  • Im Actually going to donate some money to it! This is a Vote that could make history and fix many problems in this society

  • they must have been high when producing this short, ha ha ha ha! good times

  • horrible acting you could tell they were both high and having a hard time trying not too laugh haha

  • i voted NO on prop 19 and happy i did.

  • @spiderman292007 slap yourself

  • @spiderman292007 what did you send in your ballot early? because the election is nov 2nd im pretty sure

  • @simontja You're such a sheep... Why not look at BOTH sides before you judge something. Unlike you, I actually did research on both pros and cons and found that my lifestyle isn't causing anyone trouble. I don't go out and crash into people, kill anyone, or even smoke next to someone who doesn't like it. It's funny how people judge something they know little to nothing about. But go ahead and vote no, and when it's legal well just accept it just like i will if it doesn't pass

  • W ain;t free yet were sheep bahhh!

  • Very well done, dude. Reminded me so much of the PC vs. Mac commercials. Only, in that one, the tall skinny dude is the douchebag, and in the other, the nerdier (police officer in this case--VERY nerdy--) guy is the douchebag.

In conclusion, you came out with only a shoestring budget, from what I can tell, you turned it into something very watchable AND SHARABLE!!! SHAARRREEE!!!

ok, done trollin - now get out there an LeegaLiiiize tha Weeeeeeeedz

  • boo dont legilize noooooo dont do it that would be so fucking bad : ( i hate new hampshire

If cali starts the legilization ill be i'll be older than 21 when the other countries follow cail...... 15 now im figuring if most stats will legally sell it by 2016

  • @billieholiday42 No on your face.

  • "Tax Cannabis 2010" creates:

    A compromised drug-free workplace

And ZERO revenue for the State of California

"The Federal Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988 requires that all employers

who receive government grants and contracts greater than $100,000 maintain a drug-free

    workplace. "

"The Act Will Cost the State Billions in Federal Funding While Limiting

Employers' Rights to Maintain a Safe and Drug-Free Workplace

  • @billieholiday42 You actually have a good point here, but I have a solution. You see, IN the workplace, it will still be illegal to be under the influence of any substance. You go to work drunk, you're most likely to get fired. SO I'm sure that corp. can respect that as long as you do it AT home, and still do your job, then you're fine. After all, people use weed today and have jobs, the only thing that would change, is that people wouldn't have to worry about it, and people could get jobs

  • @DarkAnewbyss i wouldn't hire a person that was drunk or high.

so if it passes, there will be more people coming to work high on pot, what about a bus driver or airplane pilot? i wouldn't want them to drive or fly while high

  • @spiderman292007 I wouldn't want that either and no if it passes it will treat marijuana like alcohol. Which means yes if you come to work high then you'll get fired. Alcohol is legal, you don't see people who are drunk going to work, or else they'll lose their job. Why not read the prop like I did before judging whether it's good or bad. It's going to treat marijuana like alcohol which means if you're 21 you can do it. Younger and you'll go have a criminal record like alcohol

  • @DarkAnewbyss i already filled out my voting form, i filled in NO on 19.

i know how bad it is. enough said...

  • @spiderman292007 not enough said. you didn't even explain why

  • @spiderman292007 you don't realize that in the proposition it does not allow its use in the workplace, just like alcohol. do you? You should really read prop 19, it isn't hard to find online.

I hate it when people spout of a bunch of crap without doing their research.

  • @sylphonis haha like you in the other thread?

  • @spiderman292007 Yes if they legalize it everyone is goning to start coming to work high as a kite. You fucktard. Do people come to work drunk now? No, they don't.

Responsible people won't randomly start coming to work high. Only irresponsible people would come to work high, and they would do it whether pot was legal or illegal.

Learn the facts please and thank you.

  • @691015005

actaully, i work in a factory and plenty of people come to work drunk, high, and genrally messed up. often times it is legally available prescription pills and legal booze that they come to work messed up on. the people that come to work high on marijuana can still function, i know who these people are. i dont condone it, but genrally people that are high can still function. punish those that come to work messed up, not people that use it at home.

  • @ad356 Yes I know people do. But these people would come into work high/drunk whether it was legal or illegal. I agree, the few times i have smoked marijuana it hardly affected me. Its not nearly as bad as alcohol, in my opinion. Its time to legalize it.

  • @billieholiday42 Mr American here thinks Prohibition works! pfft, let's all point and laugh.

  • @billieholiday42 So what you're saying is, because alcohol prohibition worked so well we should just keep throwing innocent people in prison (at $50k a head), and that because the "WAR" on drugs (at $41B per year) has been so successful (at making criminals out of everyone) that we should just keep it "as is"? You must be a Union member, huh? OH WAIT, wasn't it UAW workers hittin joints & 40s in a park on their lunch breaks (every day for a week)? You mean drug free workplace, like that?

  • @billieholiday42 if that is true why isnt there such thing as an alcohol free workplace? i know people who drink on the job and drink before? and they mess up 10x harder then when i smoke on the job...if somebody messed up and caused a problem THEN there should be testing...alcohol is more of a drug...thats like calling a spruce tree a drug

  • & the fact that marijuana is addictive is a misconception because chronic use of anything will cause your body to gain a dependance on it. Try eating fruit loops everyday, 2 times a day for 2 years and then just stop. chances are, you'll have a breakdown from the mental dependance and you can even suffer physically. same with caffeine, alcohol, tobacco, marijuana, cocaine, meth, etc. Your body learns to incorporate the extra chemicals in its processes, and has trouble operating without them.

  • They say marijuanas a gateway drug, chasing the high they say. i agree that its a gateway because once your find your way into a drug network to obtain marijuana, the dealer is trying to push cocaine and ecstasy onto you, even offering samples so that you have the desire to do more. Legalizing cannabis will fix this "gateway drug" problem and even reduce hard drug use because dealers wont be able to use word of mouth as advertising.

  • For God's sake. Legalize the stuff. Who the hell cares.

This is not a Republican or Liberal issue - it is something, along with many other issues (and drugs) that we should just lighten up on and just make available.

I have been to the Netherlands for 25+ years. No issues.

I personally never smoke the stuff, but stop the waste of creating DEA government jobs make these people get a real job where they need to produce to get a paycheck. Same with healthcare. Get the government OUT of out lives.

  • @HuskyMaxx Yes yes here here!! How can we be the Land of the free, when we make what comes from that Land illegal?? Cannabis can grow ANYWHERE under most conditions. It has lil side effects unlike legal drugs, and can actually make people happy. NOT everyone should use it, as some people just can't handle it. BUT don't lump me in with other idiots, where are my rights? It's like legal racism and segregation. We as cannabis users have rights that are being violated. The Pursuit of Happiness!

  • @DarkAnewbyss yup plants keep the Earth and life on Earth evolving amd healthy, every single drug thats comes from a plant NEEDS to spread so why ban it? Cuz they don't want a healthy community they want a greedy comunity working for the goverments rites to get paid and used as slaves. History always repeats it's self and yet people still forger how they even got the little rites we have.

  • i support this 100%

  • Cali, push the domino down, the rest fall accross your nation. The world follows suit. Hemp is harvested as it should be. Food, clothes, furniture, fuel, medicine... and so on. Let's save the Earth, and this plant is the KEY!

  • go California. now if u can only legalize Same Sex Marriage.

  • @dragonking17 im not gay but i think if two people love eachother then they should have the right to marriage and suffer like my parents.

  • @sonofjimy hehe. i agree.

  • so wonderful to see the positive comments for this. as California goes, so goes the nation... are the five decades of idiocy, private interests, and failed policy finally coming to an end??? let's certainly hope so. godspeed Cali - end it!!!

  • I second JUSTSMOKE420's comment! Alcohol is worse than weed = FACT!

  • You guys wont see marijuana legal over their not in the states anyway.

  • Either way politicians and law enforcement win by the money generated. Guaranteeing that the money will never be used for what it is intended for. Also drug cartels will still continue to sell the more appealing harder drugs. Prop 19 solves nothing it will lead to further enslavement. VOTE NO ON 19.

  • @dazed80s There is not one single reason cannabis should not be legal. Go ahead, try and name two, just two reasons why it shouldn't be legal.

  • @humanistheart Sure CONTROL & TAXATION.

  • @dazed80s You think standardizing quality and raising tax's at the same time are reasons not to legalize it? How do you figure?

  • PLEASE vote to make pot legal, no matter if your a weed smoker or not, it will help the state SO much, and look at the facts: marijuana does NOT deserve to be illegal with the amount of deaths alcohol and legally perscribed medications have caused.

    Do the right thing!

  • If someones smoking a joint in their house how are they doing anything wrong? theyre choosing to do it and it wont affect anyone else around them while theyre inside, but these people still get swat busted in on them and shit for no reason!

  • Just Say Now!!

  • druggies belong in jail, marijuana is not medecine, its a useless drug that only stoners use. put them all in jail

  • "Legalization" of marijuana in California is a Trojan Horse...

Just like they have done with other agricultural products, companies like Monsanto or ADM will fund the research for mapping of genomes, patent them and then sue other farmers for damages... Genetic splicing will have deleterious affects on honey bees (sudden hive collapse disorder) and other crops. Couple that with this "regulation," it gives pharmaceutical companies a virtual monopoly on medical marijuana.

  • @SirWinstonChurchill You'll have to forgive my ignorance on this subject, but if genomes are composed of millions of base-pairs, and a company patents one, or even a hundred, wouldn't a farmer simply need to modify the genome slightly (ie: one gene, or even a base-pair) to make his own creation? There is something wrong with genome patents in general, but I can't quite put my finger on it yet.

  • @d0861

Look at how corn farmers got sued and closed down for this... The claim was made that the independent corn growers had their pollen contaminate the modified crops AND it was also claimed since the independent growers had evidence of the modified DNA in their crops they were infringing on the owners of patented genomes...

Since we are now using the "greener" ethanol instead of using grain for cattle or food, everybody will just have to starve... Same thing will happen with hemp...

  • @SirWinstonChurchill I understand, but let me play devil's advocate in order to reach a conclusion. If the patenting of genomes were to be outlawed, who's to say that a competitor wouldn't come along and steal a high yield starch hybrid, for example, that cost thousands of dollars in research and development?

  • @d0861

Outlaw genome patents? Ha ha ha... Who does Monsanto give money to for elections???

  • @SirWinstonChurchill Assume they didn't.

  • @d0861 Your finger is it in itself. Putting a patent on life is evil and playing god.

  • @7255202 Well help me clarify that idea. What is morally wrong about patenting genetic sequences? Outside the organism, DNA is a complex of organic molecules, but it is certainly not alive. Would it be morally wrong to patent a synthetic enzyme that treated a disease?

  • @d0861 I believe so. Just because a company is first to discover something doesnt mean it is right to patent it when the something is the chemestry of life. Its like putting a patent on a certain breed of dog. Or the use of stem cells. The chemestry of life whether inorganic or not should not be taken claim to. It is just wrong. Discoverys are wonderfull, but greed should be taken no further than that. Monsanto for example is described as evil by many for a good reason.

  • @7255202 Well saying "the chemistry of life" is very broad. What about industrial chemicals? Do you draw the line there? I think that it's a very interesting topic for debate. I'd like to hear both sides argue their points. Unfortunately, I'm not very knowledgeable on the topic to even play a good devil's advocate.

  • @d0861 I mean that as in something that effects the outcome of the growth of organic material. Seeds, stem cells, DNA... Is there a patent on penicillen? I think that would be wrong. I believe it is horribly unjust to patent or place ownership and control over such material. The building blocks of life should be free as should nature. I think it is wrong to patent plants or hybrid breeds. Monsanto makes me sick. I am not very knowledgeable on the topic either but I know where I stand with nature

  • @d0861 Why should one person have control over life and another not? The extent of control and greed on this topic makes me mad. I am a firm believer in less control and more freedoms.

  • @7255202 Oh, I am a firm supporter of liberty. I also believe in property rights, though. This topic brings to light the controversy of having the right to own an idea or innovation that a person has formulates. I see your argument. How can someone patent the chemical structure of DNA, but obviously, not be allowed to patent the chemical composition of, say, granite? I'm going to do some research on my own in an attempt to form a more objective opinion.

  • @d0861 Oh wow im about to get furious! Thinking of all the patents on pharmaceuticals and how cheaper healing herbs are left in the dark. Big pharmacy is a huge problem and plague on society. Do we really need all these pills when growing the plants is just as good and will save people rediculous amounts of money?

Smoking weed and chewing on cocaine leaves is good enough for me.

I do understand modern medicine is wonderfull in hospitals but pharmacy prescription drugs is a racket.

  • @7255202

This is very true, I myself had brain cancer at 12, plus my mom works in the medical industry as a surgery schedular for a pain specialist, she says everyday that Pharmaceutical companies have a death grip on everyone with every patent they hold. Having a patent on something that hinders progress for anyone is greedy and disgusting.

  • This commercial.I love it.

Not only is it not for a good cause,it is very attractive.

  • When the corporations map the genomes, they will patent them...

This has caused lots of problems for farmers who get sued by groups like Monsanto and ADM... STUPID people just don't get it...

  • must watch documentary

"The Union: The Business Behind Getting High"

it talks about all the help cannabis and hemp can bring to us and why the prohibition does NOT work.

  • Maybe calling politicians assholes and fascists makes you feel better about yourself, but it doesn't accomplish anything positive in regards to marijuana legalization. In order to convince people this is a good idea you have to learn to use respectful language and show some dignity if you want them to pay attention to you and your ideas. Otherwise you'll just sound like a ranting idiot, which unfortunately makes up a lot within the pro-marijuana movement.

  • @videogeek27

There is absolutely no reason why the Democraps and their asshole president can't legalize marijuana, they have all the votes they need... They are lying scum.

    -

Respectful language? You sound like a one of those phony church assholes...

    -

If states can't enforce immigration laws, how can states repeal federal drug laws? You are just like those jerk off liars...

  • @SirWinstonChurchill

Way to keep it classy dude. You can rant and cry and complain from your mom's house all you want but nothing you are doing will ever change any laws. You are part of the problem because you can't stop and think long enough to formulate an intelligently expressed opinion someone will take seriously.

By the way, I'm an atheist. And if you think I'm being an asshole, I haven't even started ;)

  • @videogeek27

Oh, you want to "regulate" medical marijuana so that the pharmaceutical companies have a "legal" monopoly on it... You want to regulate it in such a way that the big commercial growers have a "legal" excuse to patent the genomes and drive everyone else out of business just like ADM and Monsanto have done with things like corn...

  • @SirWinstonChurchill

You don't know what I want done, you haven't shut up long enough to listen to what I or anybody else making an actual difference is interested in. You just like to hear your own thoughts ramble on and on.

But at least you were able to refrain from name calling for the time being, I wonder how long that will last.... lol

  • @videogeek27

I want no laws on marijuana... I want no laws on tomatoes...

    -

I want every law on marijuana wiped out. I don't want more lawyers involved.

    -

It is none of the government's business who is smoking dope or growing pot...

  • @SirWinstonChurchill

Nobody is asking what you want, nobody cares about what you think. I was saying you don't listen to what others want, you just rant on and on about the world in the way you wish it was. This post is proof of that.

  • @videogeek27

You are a control freak fascist... Just like both sides of this Trojan Horse initiative...

    -

The old good cop, bad cop routine...

  • @videogeek27 you say no one cares what he thinks, but then IMMEDIATELY bitch him out for not caring what others think. You must be high to actually think you can say that shit and make sense you stupid stoner. "Yeah, no one cares about you but you should care about everyone else" Only a STUPID DRUGGIE STONER LOSER CRIMINAL LIKE YOU!!! WOuld think of such bullshit. Go get high stoner, maybe a cop will find you and through you in jail with bubba while your wife cheats on you.

  • @videogeek27 Its because there is no logical reason to not have it legal and when idiots don't understand its a little frustrating when all they can come up with is "Its against the Law." WELLL DUR thats why we are trying to legalize it.

  • Why don't the asshole Democrats in the United States Congress just completely legalize pot???

  • if i had a credit card id donate a shit load

  • I'm voting yes too.

  • if california legalizes marijuana, i hope hawaii does too, cause usually we follow anything california does.

  • lullaby music for pro-cannabis video FTW

  • Tell me how will California be able to regulate marijuana? How will they be able to tax it? Assuming it is legalized, free-market economics will drive the price of marijuana so low it will price itself right out of the market because it won't be profitable to produce it commercially. It's only a plant, if people can grow marijuana at home for virtually no costs it'll crash the market before it can ever be regulated. Pot will become as cheap and abundant as porn is on the internet. Economics

  • legalize cannabis? yes. Control, taxes, regulation etc...don't know. It should be free 100%. Otherwise people will never be able to think and decide for themselves.

    peace.

  • @samuraiporno

    You are exactly right...

Register with the fascist police state to let them know you grow pot... EPIC FAIL...

  • @SirWinstonChurchill registering is better than getting ass-raped in jail by a guy with a 15 inch long cock. if it is legal the police wont givashit. hey, they might actually want to have brownies every Saturday night xD. then they wouldn't be as fascist after all that. its a win win. we keep our anuses not-raped and get moar friends xD

  • @omfg4all

California is a police state. You have cops for everything imaginable... You idiots don't get it. You have more people in jail than any other COUNTRY in the world...

Now you want to have more cops to regulate pot... How about just erasing all the marijuana laws and not feeding the police state anymore?

You should be able to grow pot like you do a tomato without government regulators sniffing around your house. And Bubba raping you up the ass in jail is gay marriage.

  • @SirWinstonChurchill meh. this whole comment war is not worth fighting 4. lets all just agree to legalize pot. xD

  • @omfg4all

Let's just all agree government is too big and bloated... we don't need more regulations and more regulators... more cops, more jails...

I don't want anything taxed or regulated when you can just grow it like a tomato in your yard...

  • @samuraiporno legalization is better than ill-legalization. I think that as long as jail is not involved it is fine. prop19 is a step towards a peaceful 20-bag filled future. prop19 will make the streets safer and tax-kill the cartels and stop the violence.

  • @omfg4all

I'm cool with that. It's a good step forward. But i see the same process every time. government taking control and never letting it go. And the money greed...

So, i smoke marihuana but i don't want some bureaucrat or health agent controlling where i get it, what kind, how much and how often and making me pay to feed a system that i don't need. And we all know where the profits of taxing everything ends. But in the end i guess prop19 is the best there is now so...good luck!

  • @samuraiporno

You know EXACTLY what I'm talking about...

Just like the police state transportation system - - BART - - summary executions during your daily commute... I amazed at how people are willing to suckle the government teat because of such small trifles...

  • @samuraiporno

You don't want some bureaucrat or pharmaceutical company controlling where, how or what kind of marijuana you can have?

Just wait until groups like Monsanto or ADM patent the genomes and sue other farmers like they have done with other crops... Just wait until the politicians sell the pharmaceutical companies a monopoly on it... They are drooling at the idea of more taxes... This is a Trojan Horse....

  • hell yeah man im 16 and i want it legalize, however, no i do not smoke anything including marijuana

  • If you are a representitive of law enforcement and are enforcing the laws of marijuana, but are also for legalization, please quit your jobs and support prop 19. Please stop the hypocracy that is consuming America. If you are voting "no" on prop 19 please watch my video and tell me why.

  • Hell yeah, legalize it!

    Let's Get it Legal!

Yes on PROP 19!!! Click our channel for YES on PROP 19 rap:

  • ive read the prop19.............make it legal 4 evrybdy plz, that is all.

  • lmao i love the future!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • dam straight good ass vid breh two thumbs up fuck it 4 thumbs hahaha

  • Hemp flowers? What's the hysteria about flowers from the Hemp plant to regular folks?

American Farmers are deprived of a valuable fibre crop, we cut down trees to make paper, american hemp fibre crops are unavailable for the textiles (clothes made of hemp linen are softer, more absorbant and stronger than cotton) industry, food products, and paint oils, all done for political shennanigans pure and simple.

  • I have to say that i have and never wanted to drink or smoke. I smoke herb when I want and I deserve to on a friday get off a 110hr week to smoke J or 2, and not get drunk or kill myself with smokable rat poison they call cigarette's.

  • It's dangerous to have a law that forces people to use alcohol in preference to cannabis. Anyone who prefers that a sex offender uses alcohol instead of cannabis is asking for trouble, whether they know it or not.

  • I said it before and I'll say it again . . .

Legalizing marijuana in CA for recreational use will:

    1. Significantly reduce our state's deficit with more tax money coming in.

    2. Bring in more tourism from people in other states AND all over the world who want to experience being able to publicly purchase and smoke marijuana. Tourists = Money!

    3. Create jobs.

I hope that EVERY single smoker of voting age in the entire state of California will run to the polls this November and vote for Prop 19!

  • I'm opposed to the taxing and the regulating but it's all about benchmarks and not waiting for the legislation to be perfect. I'm in.

  • Legalize drugs and will get rid of illegal Mexican drugs cartels in this country. GO CALIFORNIA!

  • Great video: but

    Read Prop 19:

Prop 19 has provisions that are concerning to this poster and California

NORML Prop 19 if passed will substantially increase existing penalties for adults giving marijuana to youths aged 18-21. Prop 19 would make it an offense punishable by $1,000 fine and six months for anyone 21 or over to give or share marijuana with someone aged 18-20, Prop 19 Changes the law, Making it

Illegal to drive while smoking, even if you

    are not inpared while driving.

  • @qutuv2 yeah wow....Little problem with your Argument>>>

If an adult gives a youth cannabis 'TODAY' >> THEY GET FUCKED!

here's a hint: Don't give weed to kidz.

    VOTE YES on PROP 19!!!

    California,it's time to >SAVE THE WORLD<

  • Prop 19 should have included generous tax dollars towards schools. If we had the powerful teachers union on our side we would have a much better chance. Unfortunately, the latest poll shows this proposition as being unfavorable for most voters. The religious right and the powerful prison unions haven't even begun to fight against this proposition.

We need big help, FAST!! If we don't get some very influential republicans or Christians on our side this won't have a chance at passing.

  • @videogeek27 Good news! A group called Christians Against Prohibition is on our side.

  • There are NO reasonable arguments defending the prohibition of marijuana. Californians, please leave your partisan politics at the door and don't waste this opportunity to restore some liberty to the people.

  • @d0861

There are also no reasonable arguments to "tax and regulate" marijuana. You should be able to grow that crap just like any vegetable, free and clear of taxes and gestapo government hacks snooping around your house...

Neither side of this master debate get it... GET THE GOVERNMENT OUT OF THE WAY. Get out a big eraser and wipe the laws off the books...

  • @SirWinstonChurchill

Just because you don't agree with the arguments supporting taxing cannabis doesn't mean there aren't valid arguments out there. Currently as cannabis is sold now, illegal drug dealers are the ones taxing cannabis users. Would you rather pay taxes to unscrupulous drug dealers/traffickers, or have that money keep more teachers teaching and firefighters fighting our summer fires?

Having unrealistic expectations is not being progressive and will change nothing.

  • @videogeek27

The Democrats could easily legalize pot... They have the votes and they have their fascist puppet in the White House...

    This is another Trojan Horse...

  • @SirWinstonChurchill

I don't know what in the world you are talking about, but I think you need to sober up before posting comments. Aside from a handful of senators and congressman, most in congress and the senate DO NOT support legalizing marijuana, so I don't know why you think this would be an easily done thing because it isn't.

It really doesn't even make sense to try to force this issue on a national scale, rather it is much more realistic to get individual states to legalize first.

  • @SirWinstonChurchill I totally agree. Unfortunately, in a democracy (as in any council, board, or decision-making congregation), compromise is inevitable. It's depressing.

  • @d0861

"Compromise" here means freedoms are compromised... A $50.00 per ounce tax for something that should be as free as tomato from your garden? This is a Trojan Horse that will give pharmaceutical companies control of "medical" grade marijuana...

I don't smoke anything, but I will gladly respect and support your privilege to poison yourself freely with pot, tobacco or opium. My poison is alcohol and I'm sick of the unnecessary tax bullshit on that to feed some useless government hack...

  • Fuck yes!

  • I'm sure if it passes CA will be sued by the DEA's lobbyists and their ilk.

  • Our government wants the war on drugs to continue as it makes them mucho buckos!

  • @99minerkc yes it does, mostly DEA they make big amounts of money from arresting marijuana users; they will lie, check out the anti ad and its all lies,

  • Think of all the fucking money and time spent on hunting down these kind of drugs.

  • The govt. should use the inflow from cannabis tax to clean up this fucking oil spill

  • @bradynjames FUCKING BRILLANT!

  • Best fucking commercial I've seen since god knows when.

  • everyone better say yes!
