Alot of what you choose is heavily influenced by the hump. As for waste materials, you bury that. Goat herders, why you carry a .22 with a tube on it. The FN or any .308 is worth it's wieght in gold. So is the SMG. No radio on a snoop and poop, from any fricken nation works when you step off in it. They are also way heavy on LAW's"? I guess there's a reason for that. Not that they weigh all that much, but I'd sure like it in claymores if I had a choice. Being able to leave party favorites!
@tjalolx don't insult my country you filth... it's a film, mistakes get made. the most elite fighting force in the world would not have done this... have a think about it you ingrade
Heckler and Koch MP5 ,3 shot burst with silencer if required and this was 20 years ago, don't forget, still a great automatic weapon, even today. AK 47 is a WWII gun, don't here many people complain about that.
@zezema535 Thats the fun of the SAS, they get to use what ever they want MP-7 Or 10 I think would be good for close quater work (Like the iranian embassy in 1982) But my fav is the old 7.62 FN FAL
@09jeveritt Not having a go at you but I think the sas probably get to pick which weapons they need per job. Like a silenced uzi for close quaters. My fav weapon was the Belgium SLR from the 70's+ Great for long range, and the Bren for shear tearing up the place.
@09jeveritt they don't the use the L85A2, or any of the SA80 series, they don't like how you can't switch off the safety whilst keeping your finger on the trigger, well trigger guard, bad drills to have your finger on the trigger all the time.
@Freestylekid95 i never said it wasn't real i said it was bollocks..... placing a compass next to metal willl move the needle from its true bearing and SAS dont use sa80's as there shite! but if the wannna tape a compass to their rifles dig out.
@trigmachine I understand what is being said in that a compass would give a flase reading being attached to a rifle but can someone explain how a compass on a ship works when its surrounded by not a tiny rifle but 50,000 tons of steel hull? (Excluding giro compasses)
@trigmachine oh sorry man i didnt catch that correctly :P but sometimes the sas use the sa80 for smaller missions as it is used for close quarters, theres footage on discovery
@Freestylekid95 im not sure about the discovery thing people i've spoken to about it use HK mp5 etc far lighter and less cumbersome. ... i could be wrong though

@Bridxb The AK-47 was not a WWII gun... it was influenced by a WWII gun. Avtomat Kalashnikov (AK) 47 (1947.) WWII was 1939-1945.

The SAS should use the MP-7 or MP-10 if they want to stay up to date.
