hay! que horror! queridaa sacate el metronomo del orto! mahler no es un ringtone! escucha la 5ta por Metha, mira como oxila el tempo, mira como hay matices. CHINA DE MIERDA
Whatever the name of the song, however it's supposed to be played, and however the composer mistakes himself in varying it for piano, you play beautifully, are a great pianist, and I very much enjoy hearing this song as it is played here.
it is actually from the first movement of the symphony if there was any doubt. but the tempo should be much lower, and the rythms should be done right, and with feeling in general...
After listening a few times, I caught a piece of a phrase that might have actually been from somewhere in the symphony...but seriously...whoever arranged that has a serious problem.
Uh...that was not from Mahler 5...at all...it wasn't even a variation from anything in Mahler 5 (unless extremely obscure). Who are you people who claim to be Mahler fans that think that this IS from Mahler 5? It's not from the Trauermasch...it's not from the Sturmisch bewegt...its not from the Scherzo...it's certainly not from the gorgeous Adagietto...and it is not from the Rondo...you chaps must be confused.
A variations from Symphonie 5 von Gustav Mahler... who is the arranger? Your reading of the score is really without feeling... maybe you are in the study procesing. But if you, in these process not think about the feeling contained in the work (and in your heart), never you can arrive to a good interpretation...
Mahler's 5th is my favorite, even more so than the 2nd. It is, in my opinion, his greatest work. That was an absolutely beautiful piano rendition. Thank you.
anyone here who didn't recognize this theme... really?? and you say you have listened to mahler?

This is terrible. You should listen to the cd and find out what it is about. If Mahler heard this, he would wake up from his grave.
