The Holy Trinity was devised to explain the three parts of God. It's really not that complicated. I could explain it like the parts of an egg. You have the white, the yolk, and the shell. Do all these parts not make up the egg?

@meee2014 I agree that water can be present in three states, that is solid, liquid and gas, as ice, water and vapour but in all three states the matter is the same i.e. H2O and contains two atoms of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen. The material and components are the same although the form of the matter differs. Water remains H2O in the solid form i.e. ice. It remains H2O in the form of gas i.e. vapour.

Why I am a Muslim. Allah has shown me signs of course. These signs are all around me, on this earth, in the universe, but where these sign originate from are the Quran. There is no holy book that has been reserved in its entirety in the original language besides the Quran. The bible was revealed in Aramaic and a dead version of Greek and Hebrew. No one speaks or understands those today. I suggest you all read the Quran, I haven't finished it yet, but hopefully I will soon :)

The context does NOT talk about "knowing God is seeing God". No where does John say that. If you go back a few chapters, you will read that Jesus said He is One with the Father (one essence). Jesus said that He gives eternal life (something only God can do). The person in this video is a parrot of islamic websites. Jesus (PBUH) was born without sexual intercourse which would therefore mean he has no father. This is when the Christian and Muslim beliefs clash because then christians believe that he is the son of God. In the bible theres a verse about how Jesus (PBUH) and God are one, which is contradicted when Jesus is on the cross and he prays to God which doesn't make sense if they were one.

Therefore; the name given to Jesus in the Quran is “Isa”, which is the Arabic equivalent to Esau (Genesis 25:25). Aramaic and Arabic are sister languages. The correct Arabic name for Jesus would be “Yesuwa” which means “God is Salvation”. This is similar to “Yeshuwa”, which in its sister language (Aramaic) means “God is Salvation”.

The Holy Trinity was devised to explain the three parts of God. It's really not that complicated. I could explain it like the parts of an egg. You have the white, the yolk, and the shell. Do all these parts not make up the egg?
Whether you call Jesus God the Son, and God the Father, doesn't really matter. What matters is that you understand there are three parts of God.

Jesus speaks of 3 entities in the Godhead in this verse; Mark 12:36 For David himself said by the Holy Ghost,The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
Check it out in Psalm 110. King David had 2 Lords, and he spoke by the Holy Ghost. 3 in one.
You will see that Jesus is also a high priest forever. Read book of Hebrews in the NT, to see how Jesus is compared to angels, Moses and the other prophets, and how he fulfilled the prophecies.

why is this even a huge debate? it's ONLY difficult because one can not ever take someone's devotion to a religion away. disproving any detail within that religion, to the person, appears to be the denouncing of the entire practice.
we are trying at this all wrong. most religion and sects of religion exist because of MAN's need interpret an original text to suit his own belief or interest. from the baptist to mormon, shiite to sunni, even ortho to unorthodox.

Jesus (pbuh) is made of flesh and bones, but Father and holy spirit are made of light or some other stuff. So to say that trinity is like water is inaccurate.

There is a way to placate Mr. Allah's fury regarding the Trinity. All one need do is explain to him that God Almighty has NOT begotten a Son, that is, generated an offspring within historical time. The Son is ETERNALLY begotten of the Father, a status outside of time itself.
These matters were already discussed and resolved hundreds of years before Mr. Allah got involved in the debate. Apparently Mr. Allah didn't get the memo, let alone do his homework. Shameful.

The i,age of steam/ice/water is not the best to use to explain trinity. It is much closer to the hearsay of Modalism, which regards Jesus as merely God in another form. The doctrine of Trinity was formulated precisely against this kind of wrong notion about what the bible taught about The Father the Son and The Spirit. The term Trinity is simply a way of expressing the relationships the New Testament reveals. To say jesus is not Divine is also to ignore the teaching of the Bible.

@meee2014 I agree that water can be present in three states, that is solid, liquid and gas, as ice, water and vapour but in all three states the matter is the same i.e. H2O and contains two atoms of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen. The material and components are the same although the form of the matter differs. Water remains H2O in the solid form i.e. ice. It remains H2O in the form of gas i.e. vapour.

Some say paraclete means: 'Comforter, admonisher, spirit of truth'. Jesus (pbuh) said in the greek bible translation :..."paracletus non veniet" (John 16:7) The greeks had a word for it...when they use the term 'allos'; it means another of the same kind. When they use the term 'heteros', it means another of a different kind. The word used here is 'allos'.

If Muslims can use the Bible to try and poke holes in Christian doctrine, then one must grant me credibility to use it for my argument toward validity. Now, Jesus says in John 14:19, "Because 'I' live, you also shall live." That's quite the declarative statement of merely a prophet, and would be blasphemous if false.

first of all this objection of no man ever seeing god can easily be answered. Yes no "man" has seen god. But the thing is that jesus did not start out as a man. He was always there with god. In john chp 1 vs 1 states "in the beginning was the word, and the word was with god and the word was god". In vs 14 it states "the word became flesh and full of grace and truth lived among us" We saw his glory, the glory he received as the fathers only son".

Firstly... .When Jesus was on the earth he wasn't God,He was human having God's nature.So it's so simple that this time He hadn't seen God.
Of course we all are sons of God,but it doesn't mean that Jesus wasn't Son of God.Jesus is like we but He has God's nature.
Moreover...there is no thing on the world that shouldn't be hidden and its hidden.Trinity is mistery-but im and all christians -we are not confused about this.

it's always amazed me how muslims cherry pick certain verses and claim Jesus isn't divine, but yet ignore the many that proclaim His divinity. The Quran clearly says to trust the gospels. They obviously don't. Islam is wicked and muslims need to repent of their idolatry. There is mercy available. God's Word(bible) is perfect, holy and eternal. Does the quran have thousands of prophecies foretelling the future? They believe in a guy who claims to have had a revelation 600 yrs after Jesus walked
