@cbluver2316 I used warm water then I added conditioner. I used a metal rat tail comb and lots of patience. It's worth it though, it won't take forever...a while but not forever. Lol!! Check out the "locks undone video" you may like!!!
wow!!! I cant believe you did the lock comb out in 3 days. I am in the process of transitioning from my locks. I have had my locks for a little over 11 years. I thing my comb out is going to take forever. This summer I had planned on cutting my locks. That would leave my hair really short! I am going to try combing them out again this weekend. should I put conditioner on it and then try to comb it out? I cant wait to see what my hair texture will be.
I combed out my locs before , then re-locked them aganin, and guess what, I am in the process of doing it again. So you're right, it can be done. I am watching alot of Youtube videos on product reviews. So that would be my suggetion, just look up natural hair, there's a ton of info on it. I'd like to see what you did, and how it looks now.
@deirdrejonz - I can't believe you did this more than once....hmmm if I had to I would but wow, I did mine in 3 days. What do you plan to do with it after you comb it out this time? I am going to do a video soon or a fintness challenge I have coming up. So you'll see it then, needs washing right about now though. Thanks for your post.
You did a great job with your hair! I like how you said maybe you'll develop the skill of styling your hair. That's a good attitude. I have a question. Was you locs interlocked? I heard you can't comb those out. You retained great length.
I really love the tangle teaser for detangling my hair. OMG it is "the best" brush in the world! here are videos on youtube about it. Also, i heard Aloe Vera juice or gel is good to moisturized our hair, followed by coconut oil and shea butter. I will try it.
@LoveUrHairCar - my locks were never interlocked. I heard ppl complaining of their hair falling out after a while, so I never did it. Have a friend going through that right now actually. I used coconut oil/shea butter in my locks actually, it did work well.
I combed mine out after 6 years... My video is on here... I retained my length and was very excited!!!
