For all that say that "this isn't mental illness" you need to remember that there are many forms of mental illness, and what you "think" is mental illness is only a small part of it. This video shows people who are obviously depressed, and last time I checked, depression is a real mental illness. Depression can also be a symptom of another mental illness. So please, know the facts before you criticise...

Nonsense, and self serving nonsense at that. Sadness is not an illness. This could be someone whose dog just died. Reaction to that is not a disease state. If "mental illness is like any other illness," and REAL MD's can & do get REAL diseases, how is it that a mental health "professional" gets immunity by having his degree, from the alleged disorders which he claims to ID & treat? The Inquisition & Witch Hunts are still here--now called the Mental "Health" Movement (like a bowel movement!)

@skirts365 i do agree with you... anybody can be sad... but the reason he was depressed was because... depression is a common symptom of mental illness... the other symptoms are O.C.D. ( obssesive compulsion disorder), cant handle stress ( thats why alot of mental illness people dont work) and many more things.

@skirts365 Mental health professionals can be mentally ill, obviously. The boy in the video was acting for this ad. There is a line between sadness and depression--if you'd ever experienced depression, you would know. Depression can be crippling. Don't disbelieve just because you don't understand. I've got mental disorders and plan to become a psychologist--I'm not immune, am I? No.

@TashaRichardsonFan people are afraid of cancer... but when you have a mental illness and when it first strikes... who dont know who you are or where you are or who your family is or anything..... but mental illness people get on medication depending on what they have and they go see a psychatrist once every six months
