Its Commercial Death Metal. and that sound. "Real" (if you wanna call it that. Original atleast) Death Metal usually has a sound of.. Well. Check out Nunslaughter and some of the old Morbid Angel, Obituary and so on.

You miss the point, Priest is one of the most influential metal bands ever. Their music will blast out of loudspeakers way after most of these new metal bands are long forgotten.
