@groshendude It really depends on a lot of factors. The size of your head, your sectioning, the thickness of the dreads. You may want to do a rough sectioning. And it's always better to have too many than not enough!
I was wondering if you know how to crotchet dreadlocks? Not from human hair to make dreadlocks, but from a synthetic dreadlock itself, to give it texture?
@ElizabethPirchmoser It would depend on what kind of texture you were trying to achieve. If you are looking for something other than knotty no seals, you can do something similar, but pulling hair randomly through on the inside.
@doctoredlocks so just by pulling it straight to the outside of the dread? I'm assuming that would leave a lot of loopies, so would one just seal it after that?
hey how many dreads do you need in a set roughly

@ElizabethPirchmoser For knotties you would pull it out and then wrap. For the other you would pull them to the inside.
