The are given the worst weapons the covenant have... and you think that they would let them protect the fucking leaders of the covenant?

@xXThexXxniNEXx The needler in the first game is bade against 75 percent of enemies, fuel rod guns were given to grunts because fuel rod guns are extremely volatile and could easily kill the use. And plasma pistols suck in first game. and in some other games in halo franchise.

The plasma fully charged knocks out your shiled then you wack them there dead. i wasent commentating on the grunts use of the weapons im saying that those weapons are as good as any other if you use them right. The needler is Over powered in the first game it only takes 1 subercombine to kill another player.

@xXThexXxniNEXx Actually, Bungie made weapons balanced in tiers, where the lower the tier, the less powerful. Plasma pistols and magnums etc. fall into tier one, where they are only balanced to each other. Teir 5 (Im not actually sure what tier it really is) has rockets and other explosive power weapons. The higher the tier, the easier the weapon is to use in a straightforward way. Most players will have tier 2 weapons (Assault Rife BR/DMR etc.). There will always be someone with a tier 4 shoty
