  • I'd really like to watch this serie: awesome action, cars, (women?) and music!

  • @GoesWithTheNameOfGTJ THEN WATCH IT!!!!!!!! (Because it's totally worth it!!!)

  • You titled it wrong. It's Proper title is "The Greatest Moment in TV Show History!"

  • love how it's quiet in the car and then Tubbs starts to load his shotgun; it gives you that calm before the storm feeling..Epic

  • music and street...

  • I could watch this over, and over again. Oh wait, I do!

  • Brings a tear to the eyes, tv history was made!!

  • Thumbs up if you think the only thing that could make this better is if it was in HD

  • awesome song.

  • I'm in season 2 of MiamiVice now xD

  • I'm just looking at all the great comments below and the ones above and I'm thinking.....cool people find they're way here.

  • best scene of ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL time !!

  • I believed Calderone disliked this

  • British musician and an American show...... I tought they use to hate each other

  • Awesome

  • Brings a tear to my eye everytime, nothing better than that, nothing!

  • Japanese translation of the dialogue;

    「もしもし?キャロライン」「ソニー?」「そう」「教えてもらいたいんだけどね。昔俺たちは幸せだったよなぁ?最近のことじゃなくてさ。あの頃は本当だったよな?」「そうよ。勿論そのとおり。ソニー、どうかしたの?」「いや大したことじゃあないんだ。お休み」

  • why is embedding disabled? just a question

  • i got my sports car just for this song,so i can hit my gears hard and be in my on zone?

  • That's why i have bought convertable, to listen to this song driving at night

  • What was that? They had random metal boxes with phones in them for anyone to use back in the day? Wow, that's trippy!

  • I remember the night when i first saw this episode. I MISS THE 80's!!!!!

  • man i wish i would have lived in the 80's dat would have been so awesome

  • This ecene was from the pilot episode. NBC would just put this clip in the trailer and just air it before the pilot episode aired. Everybody would take note from it. That sunday night my family was glued to the tv for the next 2 hours and every friday night for 1 hour for the next 5 years.

  • Does it get any better? Sincerely?

  • 80's FTW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • totally 80's

    totally perfect

    totally unapproachable

  • anothr fine moment ~

  • ah come on...no modern tv crap could ever beat this!! This is pure class

  • The atmosphere in this clip is...it's something bigger truly. You simply can't find such feeling and atmosphere nowadays.

  • Bernays' Cafe ?...As in Bernaise sauce?....Hmmm....

  • Im not old enough to remember seeing this on T.V but this has to be the coolest scene in my life. Well next to the scene in Due Date when they was getting stoned to Pink Floyd.

  • phill collins, ferrari, miami night, those faces, those camera views...god damn its just beautiful. AND I WAS IN 86 !!! most of my year mates live in CSI world...and im not even trying to compare this to csi...csi is just a tv show...this is something beyond

  • Why is so hard to make something so perfect like this in the TV nowadays

  • @coloracer1976 cause its all been done already

  • The kids who did not get to experience the 1980`s really missed something.I can not even begin to describe that decade. It was something special that will never happen again. The teenagers were good, music good, economy great.I could go on and on and could never describe it.You have to have lived it.I am glad I did.Good memories.

  • @TheUSA1945 you know id have done anything to have grown up during the 80s i was born in 87 so dont really remember much of them lol if i had the option i think 1973 would have been a good vintage to have been born cause id have spent my teenage years in the 80s they just seemed like such a more awesome time to have been alive

  • i wanna make a phone call just like this one... damn you cell phones..

  • The sexiest tv show ever produced.

  • This track is sooo inspiring to make you drive your car deep in the night.... then wait for the HOOK....AND HAMMER IT DOWN TILL YOUR BLUE IN THE FACE OR WATCHING BLUE LIGHTS IN THE REAR VIEW.

  • essa cena me deixa arrepiado ..... com essa musica ainda

  • Tommy Vercitti and Lance Vance. The makers of GTA Vice City really put the style of Miami Vice in the Vice City game. :)

  • powerful!

  • Nr.1 song ever !

    Nr.1 musician ever !

    Nr.1 TV-show ever !

    Nr.1 scene ever !

  • Top 5 show ever to by airred on Televison.....

  • kinda reminds me of Sam and Dean from supernatural at the end of season 3, when theyre drivin the Impala listening to "dead or alive

    '

  • Greatest TV show ever, Awesome scene, awesome episode, Greatest song ever.

  • what was the name of this episode?

  • @71605thomaswilliams : this is from the pilot

  • Best....Scene....Ever....

  • You can't drive that fast down Biscayne Blvd anymore! lol At least I don't...

  • @sobe9ball Yeah you can. I've seen lambo's, ferrari's, and other exotics racing on Biscayne Blvd all the time! I know because I've raced quite a few..... and lost. LOL..

  • Oh Lord... I Love !!!

  • The music and camera shots on this show were outstanding and have, to this day, never been matched on TV.

  • This Ferrari is really a nice car... Great car, great scène classic vice crockett and tubbs are so cool

  • Best cop show ever. Daytona was an original in the pilot. Testarossa was genuine. Could watch Crockett and Tubbs all night.

  • the best series in the world

  • Goose bumps !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • they dont make tv shows and movies like this anymore, tv today has gone done the tubes just like this country, things will never be the same

  • Biggest shock!

Holy Shit! He just blew up the Daytona with a Stinger missile launcher!

  • The most memorable scene in TV of the entire 80's decade. Straight classic. The dialogue, the music, the car...the whole feeling one gets from watching this is incredible. Watched the pilot episode in it's entirety (commercials and all) at it's first airing on NBC in 1984. Fell in love with the show instantly. Glad I was able to witness television history being made firsthand and not thru syndication or DVD's.

  • Great music, great scene, great 80s.

  • this scene was the best. of season 1

  • One person needs to meet Sonny in a dark alley.

  • I wish there was a 720-1080P version of this here. You know, from the 2006 HD re-broadcast of the original pilot they did to promote the movie(which wasn't nearly as good).

  • Miami Vice...Best show to ever grace a television screen!

  • The car is not a vette....it's a Ferrari 365 GTB/4 aka Daytona.

  • @gurugangstarr1 its a kitcar ..... was a vette with daytona exterior parts ... then miami vice became bigger and bigger and Ferrari decided to give em a Testarossa and the Daytona should get destroyed

  • @gurugangstarr1 this was a replica of a Daytona with corvette mechanicals, there was a couple made and one was for sale about 3 months back for $110k

  • wasn't this the 2 hour season premier pilot movie?

  • this is fucking epic

  • es genial, creci con esto....

  • Ferrari Daytona Spider, lata 80's, Phil Collins i miami vice co potrzeba więcej :]

  • the greatest moment of the whole serial ... i love the music and the car , just a great assembly of visual and audio concept

  • all time faves...nice post!

  • The 80's had Magnume PI,Miami Vice,Cheer's,Night Court,Hill Street Blues,Wiseguy, Taxi, Cosby Show and later Roseanne & Married With Children.

probably the best decade ever for TV.

  • Too bad it is not a real Ferrari. I would rather drive the Testarossa. The Daytona is a converted Corvette.

  • Crockett and Tubbs were the $hit. Still remember that last episode where that guy calls them cowboys. I was so happy they finally took Calderon down.

  • both are hard to come by so you better save up. But damn the director of this show sure new how to put style into it. Greatest show ever.

  • welcome to the 80s!

  • best 3:15mins of television...EVER!!!!!

  • If your playing this song in your car while driving at night, I don't think you have to stop at red lights. It's known as the, ' Cool Ass Hell Exempt Law ' :)

  • right on the money

  • the song and combination of the scence goes perfect

  • i`m crying

  • i agree with you synthpatheti, i also would say that the style of micheal mann : a perfect mix of music, cit landscape (specially on night) and cool actors scenes. (see collateral with the wolf scene... magic...)

  • Beste Serie wo gab...nice music great ppl....i miss......

  • This is the greatest moment in 80's television and film... if not the greatest moment in TV history.

  • 100%

  • totally agree... youthsentiment... ;)

  • yeah that's what i miss in movies these days. the music is crappy these days, and there is not such emotional depth in especially in action movies. in the 80's it had an awsome mixture of great music and scenes. in these days it is also to much exaggerating with action scenes and silly music, music quickly produced with the computer. for example listen to the music from Alien 1, man it was awsome work. we don't have that anymore

  • @ABCMeEFG These words couldnt be any truer.

  • @ABCMeEFG :-)

  • @ABCMeEFG Absolutely! Couldn't agree more!

  • @ABCMeEFG greatest show moment in the 80s: miami vice and this scene in general which perfectly describes it. gretest moment in film in the 80s: tony montana being gunned down at the end of scarface B)

  • rofl!!! ok, so you watch this scene and think "there's absolutely no one would try to recreate this epic piece of shit in the form of a movie, that would be too much" and then you really laugh your ass off at that atrocity that came out in 2006 with jamie foxx. I mean thats just too much! lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Love this Scene i hope my Exwife would answer the Question like her in the Vid!! Some Day ill hope!!

  • They made HISTORY with this sequence...

    One of best show!!!!!

  • i look this video and now i'm sad

    I MISS THE 80'!!!

  • absalute classic i love this video its ace

its just ace how he jumps into the farrari an cruises down miami ace

  • best show ever made...just started season 4 which i got for christmas and contrary to what people say I like season 4 a lot

  • That is just beautiful

  • Miami Vice 4ever baby

  • Nice!

  • LoveloveloveloveloveloveloveloveloveloveloveloveLoveloveloveloveloveloveloveloveloveloveloveloveLoveloveloveloveloveloveloveloveloveloveloveloveLoveloveloveloveloveloveloveloveloveloveloveloveLovelovelovelovelovelovelovelovelovelovelovelove

  • This was quality television for it's time.

  • True cinema magic, all time classic scene

  • They sure as hell don't make tv shows like this anymore!..or movies for that matter!

  • You got that right brother!!! Everything now a days is stupid CSI and shit. If you've seen one episode you've seen 'em all. Miami Vice on the other hand had originality and good writers before t.v. turned to shit... if you know what I mean!!?? Peace my friends!

  • @og229 The 80s was sure a golden age for many things.

  • @lastwolflord That's so true, some of my most precious memories are from the 80's.

  • @og229 your a hero for saying that

  • @og229 yea they just remake em

  • it's the most best scene in histrory of television or Miami Vice

  • Good for you! You have a natural talent for spotting things that are just cool as goddamn hell.

  • The coolest driving scene in the history of tv and movie.

  • Damn it !!! I want that car - want to drive it just once !!!

  • nah i wanna drive the testarossa :D

  • OK - you can have that one and I'll take this one LOL !!!!

  • One more thing . . . I'll take who's in it too LOL !!!

  • @gramel123 Hmmm, Ya, I'd take a real Daytona over the TR.

  • @gramel123 iwnat to drive both :P

  • @gramel123 i want to drive both :P

  • @cherDJ pretty nice for a vette kit lol

  • @cherDJ it's a corvette, ferrari replica but the testarossa is real!

  • @KonigNick I guess you like the testarossa better then? That's OK - either way - they're BOTH nice cars and I'd like to have one LOL !!

  • @cherDJ Too late, this one is destroyed, ferrari orders cause its a replica.

Ferrari was'nt pleased with a replica in the best tv show, so they offered the makers of miami vice a real genuine testarossa but the "daytona" ( Corvette c3 base) must be destroyed. however it was indeed a sweet car:)

  • @hagenno6 OK thanks - I didn't know that - but I can still dream about it - right LOL?? Thanks for the info though.

  • @cherDJ Of course, i dream about it too, especialy cause i started to watch all the 5 seasons again:)

  • @hagenno6

  • @cherDJ | my Dad took it for a test drive/death ride with Mom and wanted to buy it but the next day it was sold xD

  • @cherDJ

It was not a real Daytona, it was a replica built on a Corvette chassis. When Ferrari found out that they were using a replica, they donated them a real Ferrari if they destroy the fake one. That's why the "Daytona" gets blown up, and then comes a genuine Testarossa ;)

  • @vdochev Thank you - I didn't know that - if Ferrari would make me a promise like that, I'd blow up my car too LOL !!! The black Ferrari was always my favorite, but the Testarossa wasn't too shabby either - right? Thanks for responding my friend - that was nice of you.

  • Love, love, love this scene !!! So typical of Crockett - that quiet, ticked off mood - if he's coming for ya - you better run and fast !! Love that man !!!!

  • beautifull song! beautiful scene ! amazing

beautiful dialouge between Sonny and his girl! very cool

  • oh wow , the 80s man im so glad i was born in the 80s , miami vice, scarface, vice city, phil collins, flock of seagulls, i miss the 80s grand theft auto needs 2 remake vice city again

  • damn they look like there goin to fuck someone up! lol

  • legendás jelenet

    MIAMI VICE 4EVER!!!

  • This is from the pilot episode called "Brother's Keeper" . Basically Crockett and Tubbs are on their way to take down a Columbian drug dealer named Calderone who killed Tubbs' brother.

  • on the 8th day God created Miami Vice

  • its the best of!!

  • the song is what made it great, phil is a genious. I love him!

  • I know this is the scene that everyone says they loved most from this show/series, but I don't understand why. Yeah, it's cool, but what about it is so memorable???

  • this scene alone instantly made me a fan of the show.

  • same here this scene is awsome!!

  • the best fuckin show EVER!!!!!!!!

  • You are correct

  • Could not agree more!!!!

  • Everything about the 80's was summed up in this three minute clip. Hands down, this is one of the best scenes in television history.

  • Can you please explain what makes it so great?

  • due the 80's is awsome

  • what a great song...not the mention Miami Vice...trip back in menory lane

  • This is the scene that will remain in my memory forever.
