So I like this song, but there is no way it would have done as well as it has unless there is a mention of a guy smoking a cigarette in the first lines -- and the tobacco industry isn't paying out millions to TV producers to promote this cigarette commercial during prime time TV.

PS -- there is also no way The Fray gets a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Album based on this song alone without heavy tobacco backing, IMHO, but what do I know?
