  • Maxwell was the Best Scorer (he always was) of the Finals because Bird struggled shooting wise. The Game is More than Just Scoring. Did Maxwelll average 15.3 RPG against Moses? or lets say deliver 7.0 APG? The Real Finals MVP was Bird. He had the Best All Around Game in the 80s. Just the same way Kareem was robbed from the 1980 FInals MVP to Magic because of his Injury. No hate on Magic but Kareem had the Stats to be the Real MVP, just as Bird over Maxwell. BTW McHale was a sub in 81 and 84.

  • @Defender80s I love how these idiots put so much emphasis on points, it's defense and rebounding that wins championships. Bird had one of the greatest finals ever in 81, 15.3 rebounds per game vs one of the greatest rebounders ever, Moses. 7 assists per game and 2.3 steals per game. Maxwell wasn't close to any of those stats, all he did was avg 2.4 more ppg than Bird.

  • @RayQuattro What ever! Bird can't even do half the things jordan did!!

  • @74814bob And Jordan NEVER did half the things Bird did. If Jordan had been 6 or 7 yrs earlier, there's NO WAY he woulda won those championships. Maybe 1. He was great, no doubt, but did he face Bird, Magic, Julius & the rest in their prime? No way, he didn't win until they were old or retired. He won in a water downed league, period.

  • If Bird was the buzzer beater master, then what was Jordan?

  • @Rudi2818 the best player ever

  • @Rudi2818 Bird had more game winning shots IN ONE SEASON then Jordan had in his career. Period. . .Not to mention, Jordan won ALL his championships in a water downed league. Bird faced the best every year in hos own conference, and against LA in the finals.

  • @Colstonewall ROFL you have no idea what the fuck your talking about. Iguess its true you should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

  • @MrKromley Really, I have no idea huh. Why don't you look up Bird's game winners & compare it to Jordan's!?? Then we'll see who has no idea. And BTW, Bird seriously injured his back in '85. His back never got better, only worse. So Bird dominated with a career threatening injury.

  • @Colstonewall wow LOL you are beyond delusional......Jordan pretty much RAPED Bird everytime he stepped in front of him....in the 80's Bird had better teammates thats why he won, but whenever they would play eachother Jordan would just run circles around Larry Bird and make him his bitch......NO ONE is anywhere near Jordans level NO ONE. period....and in the clutch, Jordan over everyone.....everyone!!

  • @8cruz88 LOL, yoou better go back & watch the video above a few more times. .And I luv that old excuse, Bird had better teamates. He MADE them better. Birds' 1st year, he took a Celtic team in last place to win the NBA Championship. The BIGGEST turnaround in NBA history. Who were his teammates that year!?? Who remembers? I don't, but they still won cause Bird made 'em better. What was Chicago's record Jordans 1st year???

  • @Colstonewall what are you talkin about?? Bird did NOT win a championship his first year, that was actually Magic Johnson that did that, Bird won a championship his second year BUT he didn't even get finals MVP, it was Cedric Maxwell that got finals mvp for the Celtics, not Larry Bird, and you know who else was on the team?? Robert Parish and Kevin Mchale, and Parish was already a great b-ball player before Bird even got there.....seriously kid learn something, damn.

  • @8cruz88 Bird deserved the MVP that series 15.3 rpg, 7 apg, 2.3 spg.The NBA & punks like you think that scoring is everything, it's not, that's why Kobe's team sucks this year with him jacking up shots, ball hog. MJ would be just another glorified ball-hog if not for Pippen. Bird took Celts to best record in nba without Parish, McHale or DJ. MJ couldn't even get his teams to a winning record, much less, a championship, without Pippen. MJ = 5 losing seasons without Pippen 'Nuff said, see ya.

  • @MerkinMuffly I love how these idiots put so much emphasis on points, it's defense and rebounding that wins championships. Maxwell wasn't close to any of those stats, all he did was avg 2.4 more ppg than Bird.

  • @8cruz88 You need to learn something kid, Parish a great player?! That's news to me, he shot under 50% while at GS and was in 0 All-Star games before Bird put him in the H of Fame. McHale played under 14 minutes per game in the 81 finals behind the great Rick Robey, lmao. Bird turned mediocre players into good players and good players into great players. MJ never made anyone better but MJ, why do you think Pippen had his best stat season when MJ left? He also shot a better fg% in 94 without MJ.

  • @MerkinMuffly Amen to that, well said. . .Bird made EVERYONE around him better. Jordan? Don't think so. Most hated playing with him. It took him 50 shots a game to make an impact. Bird could dominate without taking a shot! That's greatness.

  • @8cruz88 Excuse me, it WAS Bird's 2nd year he won. As I stated, his 1st year, it was the biggest turnaround in NBA history. Yes Parish & Mchale were there. Mchale a ROOKIE, & Parish a decent player. No one was calling him great by any means, I suggest you learn something KID. You think they woulda won the '81 championship without Bird, LOL?!? Did Jordan win a championhip his 2nd year?? Well why not!? Thought he was the greatest!?

  • @8cruz88 WTF are you talking about, you call MJ getting his ass swept 2 years in a row raping Bird?! Bird vs MJ lifetime: 23-11. MJ can't even get a win vs Bird in the playoffs after scoring 63 (took him 2 OTs to even get that) How fucking sad is that? Winning is the name of the game, not jacking up shots. Bird had MJ crying on the bench during their playoff meetins , hahah, stop watching shoe commercials and get the facts punk: watch?v=svHk8Zntc5g

  • STOP MAKING EXCUSES Jordan was great NOT perfect everyone gets scored on at some point Jordan is still the G.O.A.T. but Bird just got the best of him

  • Bird was better than Jordan period. He was also better than Julius Erving to. He would frustrate the living shit out of the Doctor. lol

  • @RayQuattro Shut up

  • @RayQuattro That's my opinion also. But, let's ALL keep in mind, we all have our own opinions. And that's all they really are, opinions. . .Sorry for using the word 'all' so much!

  • larry bird looks like a bird

  • MJ is better than Larry Bird. This wasn't MJS fault either. It wasn't his man.

  • @ImMrDope I think MJ was a better player than Bird but you have to admit it's kind of funny that when these two met on the court...Larry usually got the last laugh. Bird's Celtics won more often against Jordan's Bulls. Like I said I think Michael is a better player but Bird is more clutch than Jordan. Have you seen any videos of Jordan hitting the game winner in Larry's face? No, because that's what Larry does.

  • @ImMrDope P.S.- Actually, I think it's up for debate who's better...Jordan or Bird. You could make a strong case in Larry's favor considering he had higher stats in more categories...rebounding, assists, blocks, free throws, 3 point field goals. Anyway Jordan is great and so is Larry...but Larry is more clutch.

  • Bird is good and he's my type of big foward but he is an ugly bastard.

  • Jordan wasn't guarding him. Pippen was. Jordan came over to help. Still, great shot by a great player. But not "schooled."

  • @unclebobunclebob Yes, schooled is the word.

  • @dxdude2004 OK, so obviously you don't know a thing about help defense. If anyone was schooled in this instance, it was Pippen. And I'm not anti-Bird. I think he was outstanding.

  • @unclebobunclebob Who was trying to block?

  • @unclebobunclebob yea but it was still in jordan's face...

  • 93 PEOPLE ARE MAD THAT LARRY BIRD IS BETTER THAN MICHAEL JORDAN!

  • @dxdude2004

    FAIL!!!!

  • @2pacinseattle UMAD?

  • @dxdude2004

    about what?

  • @dxdude2004 are you fucking retarded??

  • @djmacbirdjeff No, I'm fucking smart.

  • @dxdude2004 no he's not wtf

  • @farhanking7861 Yeah he is. MJ is an amatuer compared to Larry Legend.

  • @dxdude2004 ur retarded damn

  • @farhanking7861 Look who's talking?

    You're*

  • if only the nba gods didnt strike down on magics and birds carrer, it would have been great to see them in the mid 90s still ballin, like jordan did in the 2000

  • Happy Birthday Legend!

  • It's amazing how he still made this shot with Pippen and MJ guarding him. Truly amazing.

  • only person to take jordan down is bird

  • @shaqpopcorn34 I love how you put down Bird for losing one finals on his home court, but fail to mention that Magic Johnson lost 3 NBA finals on his home court in 83, 89 and 91, LMAO, that's 3 times worse than Bird, poor Tragic Johnson...way to let Jerry West and Pat Riley down Magic, your a dumbass shaqpoop, your owned again, lmoaaaaa...

  • @MerkinMuffly That little punk wigger couldn't be honest if his pathetic little life depended on it. His boy oneal got swept an unbelievable SIX TIMES!!!!!!, but poop is too stupid to keep his mouth shut lol.

"Dr. O'neal", kinda like "Dr" King! lmao

  • @MerkinMuffly

Hilarious how you cite 89 and 91 as examples of Magic choking despite the Lakers injuries those seasons but are quick to defend Bird for blowing a 2-0 lead against the Knicks in the first round. :"B-b-b-but, HE WAS INJURED!!!", I hear you cry, yet he was good enough to average 24.5/9.5/7.5 in the regular season and 24/9/9 against the Knicks with two other teammates averaging 20 ppg each on absurd efficiency. If Magic choked in 89 and 91, then so did Bird against the Knicks.

  • @Droog13 just shutup u nerd

  • Comment removed

  • @mtWHITE100

    :D

  • @Droog13

ok, I re-read my post and admit I came off as kind of dickish, I just hate it when people don't put things into context or leave out certain facts when making their arguments.

  • Haha Jordan never saw it coming

  • that chair in the first row had jordan's name on it

  • @merkinmuffly was this in the playoffs????

  • @shaqpopcorn34 Since you don't know what a choke is, I'll tell you:

A choke is what Magic did in the 1984 Playoffs: watch?v=YQ1bd2g3p1Y

A choke is what MJ did in the 1995 Playoffs:watch?v=OFs16GWXT_w

A choke is what Shaq did in the 2004 Finals. With 3 other Hall of Famers & the greatest coach of alltime, Shaq wins the 1st game of the finals, and then get swept 4 games in a row by a No-Name Pistons team with 0 Hall of famers, hahahahaha. Shaq is the ultimate choker with 6 sweeps, LMAOOOOOO!

  • @MerkinMuffly wrong...choke means to have a total bad post game series!

MJ choked for 1 minute in 1995 series vs Orlando, though he did a good game...

Don't forget that MJ is the only player who went more than +5 times to an NBA Final

and never lost! He is on another level by himself!

But great respect to an NBA giant like Larry Bird, who is in the top 10 players ever!

  • @shaqpopcorn34 CONTINUED... The only reason the 85 Celtics lost in 1985 was because they were missing there 2nd best scorer Cedric Maxwell and Bird had numerous injuries including chips in the elbow, broken hand from a bar fight and a bad back. We saw what a healthy Celts team did to choking Magic's lakers in 84.

1990 Bird was on a broken back or we know he would have steam rolled those weak Knicks.

Bird never, ever choked in the playoffs retard.... CONTINUED

  • @shaqpopcorn34 Now this is funny Bird had a better winning % in the playoffs than Shaq & MJ, lmao. Bird averaged more championships than Shaq during his career, hahaha. Shaq only had 1 MVP, and it took him year to make the All-NBA 1st team because Hakeem was much better, ain't that some shit.

  • @MerkinMuffly Looks like "Dr" (lmao!) O'neal is doing very well for himself with all that STOLEN loot from the Cavs, Suns and Celts! I promise this, I promise that. I'm gonna bring the trophy home, I promise a championship to this city or that city, blah blah blah.......Mr. Nestle Bar needs to pay back the money he stole!

  • What can you say? Bird and McHale are Hall of Famers.

  • @shaqpopcorn34 Ask the cavs, suns and celt management if they would have had oneal again...not on their lives!! Everyone in Boston loved Larry and was sorry to see him go. The exact OPPOSITE is the case with oneal and it sure is justified, he hurt Boston just as I said he would! lmao!!

  • @shaqpopcorn34 I didn't know a loss was necessarily one players fault.hmmm. Also, you need to learn the difference (assuming all of the above or even part of it was Larry's fault (lol)) between a loss and choking. I understand that since you've never been an athlete that you don't know the difference. An example of a class ic choke would be when a player who is decent from the ft line gets wobbly knees and nervous and short arms a ft. Of course in oneals case, he was missing two regardless lmao!

  • @midnightrider33 ....what about this....

    91 playoffs= celtics beat pacers 3-2 in 1st round....bird played all 5 games

    92 playoffs= celtics beat pacers 3-0 in 1st round....bird missed the whole series...lmaoooo...

celtics were 5-1 in the 92 playoffs before bird came back.....1-3 after bird returned, including losing game 7 vs the cavs for the right to meet the bulls.....if you say he only lost because bird was dodging mike,i accept that answer....lmaooooo

  • @midnightrider33 ....LMAOO....the question is...how can the great larry bird have 30 fewer playoff wins than a man who was swept 6 times!!!....lmaoooo...bird isnt even close!!!...and check this fact...

bird= 29 playoff road wins in his entire career

shaq= 30 playoff road wins in 8 years as a laker....bwahahahahahha....more road wins as a laker than bird in his entire career!!

    bird= 2-8 on road in 87 playoffs

    shaq= 8-0 on road in 01 playoff...lmaooo

  • @shaqpopcorn34 lol unreal how stupid you are, try 30 less playoff wins because he played about 11 years when factoring in injuries...the fact remains that having SIX SWEEPS against you is the most embarrassing, pathetic stat a player could have and shows just how sorry oneal was. I didn't see Russell getting swept hahahah have another crunch bar oneal and his little wigger fans! lmao!!

  • @midnightrider33 ...LMAOO...

bird= 13-13 playoff road record in 3 titles yrs....only won thanks to homecourt

mike= 35-17 playof road record in 6 title yrs....won 9 of first 10 nba finals road games!!!

shaq= 24-14 playoff road record in 4 title yrs....12 straight from 01 to 02 playoffs.4 of those vs spurs...

magic= 24-16 playoff road record in 5 title yrs...including 3-3 in boston garden in 85 and 87 nba finals...

bird= a true homer....incapable of winning a series without homecourt LMAO

  • @shaqpopcorn34 Shaq = 6 sweeps, beaten by a terrible Pistons team in the Finals, not even the greatest coach of all time can coach that sack of shit, Shaq, that's why they shipped his ass out, LMAO. If Shaqshit is the best, then why was he kicked off every team he played for, hahaha

  • @midnightrider33 ...damn..shaq swept 6 times....and STILL has more playoff wins that bird...or bill russell,for that matter...lmaooooooo

    bird= 99 career playoff wins....won 23 series

    russell= 105 career playoff wins...won 26 series

shaq= 129 career playoff wins!!!...won 31 playoff series.....damn...a man swept 6 times has won 30 more playoff games than larry bird....and 8 more series...

shaq even has more playoff wins than bill russell, the winningest player in nba history...shaq= legend

  • @midnightrider33 ...who got ousted by the better teams?....

    7 teams that ousted mike= 418-156 .728% record...bulls were 307-267 .535% in those yrs..

    9 teams that ousted bird= 501-237 .679% record.....celtics were 518-220 .702% in those yrs...

lmaoooo....mike was losing to far superior teams....yet celtics had a better record than the 9 opponents that eliminated larry...

bird= won 0 career series without homecourt

mike= won 6 career series without homecourt, including the 93 and 98 nba finals

  • @midnightrider33 ...lmaooo.check these facts..

    shaq= won 31 playoff series..mike= won 30 playoff series..bird= won 23 playoff series..LMAOO..

bird= NEVER won a series without homecourt advantage....yet lost 7 with homecourt

80 celtics= 35-6 at home...yet 1-2 at home vs sixers to lose in playoffs

82 celtics= 35-6 at home..yet 2-2 at home vs sixers to lose in playoffs, ousted in boston garden in game 7

    85 celtics= 35-6 at home...yet 1-2 at home in 85 nba finals vs lakers..lost title in boston

  • @midnightrider33 .they keyed on bird in 88?.isnt he a great passer?..isnt there a thing called "the jordan rules" where they key in on mike?..wasnt zone legalized in 01-02 after shaq went 15-1 in the playoffs, allowing teams to key in on shaq?..why would bird travel around the league when he had hall of famers every year?

    mchale= 25.4 ppg on .602%..took 262 shots in 88 playoffs

    bird=== 24.5 ppg on .450%..took 338 shots in 88 playoffs

why did bird shoot so much if they keyed in on him?

  • Bird was better because Jordan was one of the most athletically gifted athletes ever. Bird was an average white guy that could play and boy did he ever.

  • you know you're good when scottie pippen AND MJ are doubling you...

    CELTICS FOR LIFE!!!

  • Owned!

  • fake basketball, football, baseball, etc. players...overpaid, spoiled bitches

  • @lawnprinter300

    *fuck

  • @lawnprinter300 Hater

  • When you compare Jordan and Birds offensive production (assists included) Jordan is way ahead. Defensively, it would be a joke to compare the two players, because it would be an insult to MJ.

The only thing Bird has over MJ is rebounding. But hes a 6'9 forward.

  • @Xorand89 Bird had the same shooting % as Jordan with higher 3 point shooting %. I think MJ is better but it is certainly not a joke to compare the two they are closer than you think. Plus Bird was the best clutch player in NBA history although Jordan was good as well

  • @dldavis1212 ..are you aware that mike had a higher 3-pt fg% in the playoffs?...and a higher fg%?.. in the reg.season mikes fg% is still slightly higher(.497% to .496%) despite having 2 years with the wizards from ages 38 to 40 which brought it down?

he had a higher true shooting % than bird in both the reg.season and playoffs, and a higher assist % than bird,a lower turnover % than bird, and a higher offensive rating..mike was better in the clutch..ended his bulls career with championship winner

  • @shaqpopcorn34 yeah Mike had 2 years with the Wizards and Bird had 2 or 3 years with a broken back I also never said Bird was a better player I just said it was a lot closer than some of you believe and Bird was a better clutch player even with Jordan's game winner for the Chip.

  • @dldavis1212 Both great but negative it wasnt even close.

  • @Xorand89 Bird is a much better passer, so its a huge stretch to say "assists included". As for defense. You're even more off. Bird was an excellent rebounder, excellent at directing his teammates at the defensive end, a strong post defender, a player that had his share of steals, but more importantly, often at critical times. All of that is at the defensive end of the court, its all 'defense'. The one area at the def. end where jordan was better was perimeter D. No joke for sure.

  • @midnightrider33 ..mike= NEVER lost a series with homecourt advantage

    bird= lost 7 series with homecourt advantage...vs the 80 and 82 sixers..83 bucks...85 lakers...88 pistons..90 knicks..91 pistons..

    mike= 24.9 assist % in reg.season career...28.2 assist % in playoffs

    bird= 24.7 assist % in reg.season career...23.7 assist % in playoffs

mike played many years in the 90s,with more defense oriented games and fewer possessions

mike= 11.4 apg in 91 finals..bird never averaged that in the finals

  • @shaqpopcorn34 For starters, "mike" was owned by Larry Legend. "Mike" played in a watered down league. "Mike" had the ball in his hands more, so the assist percentage is meaningless, as is the total amount.. You conveniently don't mention rebounds.

Glad to see you back, it gets boring cutting on the big loser, oneal when you're not here. shaquille o'neal: Swept an unbelievable SIX TIMES! lmao!

  • Jordan>Bird

  • jordan... the most overrated player in nba history

  • @slapmyfunkybass I remember the first time I watched a youtube highlight

  • @slapmyfunkybass You can't be serious...

  • @slapmyfunkybass no dude........just no

  • What year was this?

  • MJ was a media whore (and a phony at that). The guy was on every other commercial back then (Hanes, Gatorade, Nike, Pepsi, McDonalds, even some hot dog commercial). Bird did a few commercials, but he couldn't give a shit about being a media darling like Jordan. Bird took a scrub ISU team to the NCAA Finals. Overrated my ass. MJ's heels barely won ONE Championship with 3 All Americans on it. He never saw a Final 8 after Worthy left. His last NCAA game was against a bunch of farm boys at IU.

  • @broaddusmarines: Thank you for respecting the game@NCAA / N.B.A / American!!

  • @ibuyukuran10 Also, four of the five starters on that 86 Celtics team are in the Hall of Fame. Hell, their sixth man is also in the Hall of Fame. That's five players in the HoF. The only starter not in the HoF was Danny Ainge and he made a few All Star Teams. That 86 team was the best team ever assembled. They ran a fast break without the ball even touching the floor. Also, THIS video takes place with Bird on his last legs. The 1985 Bird would have made things a lot uglier for those Bulls.

  • @broaddusmarines Yeah, and none of those 4 would have got into the Hall of Fame if Bird hadn't put them there. McHale & Parish play with MJ, they don't sniff a post up pass, because all big men did for MJ is get in the way of his driving to the basket. If Cartwright plays on Bird's team his whole career, he's in the Hall.

  • @ibuyukuran10 Rodman was a rookie, still stinging from Bird making a fool of the Pistons with that steal against Isiah Thomas' stupid ass. The Pistons could not even beat an aging, broken down Celtics team still hurting from the death of Len Bias. Also, those "bad boy" Pistons looked like a bunch of bitches when Robert Parrish beat Bill Lambier into a bloody pulp. Sorry, but the Pistons were Bird's prison girlfriends, just like Jordan's Bulls were. Only the 76ers and Lakers mattered to Bird.

  • Thanks: Merkin

I used to rent (VHS) NBA Super-Slams ][ ][ all the time back in the *90's.

...Always had me shooting hoops after the tape ended.

    - Hosted by: Dr. J

  • Dennis Rodman played on the 96 Bulls team and the Pistons teams. A lot of people under 30 say that 96 team was the greatest of all time. Dennis Rodman said his 89 team would have mopped the floor with the 96 Bulls. Dennis was the 3rd best player on that 96 Bulls team. Rodman didn't even START for those Pistons teams. Those teams were loaded back then. Sorry, almost any championship team from the 80s would handily beat those Bulls teams. Stop believing all the ESPN Jordan crotch sniffing hype.

  • @broaddusmarines Trueth!!!

  • Mj came over late but it was still a pretty damn good contested shot. he drilled it.

  • Great shot by Bird, but Jordan did get fouled, too.

  • @mikenotnumber1 HAHAHAH WHO THE HELL ARE YOUU?? LOOK AT WHATS GOING ON AROUND US?? WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU GOING ON ABOUT WIERDO HHAHAHAAH MAYBE I SHOULD BE CALLING YOU CRYANT INSTEAD OF KOME KOBRICK I WILL NEVER BE BETTER THAN KEVIN DURANT AND WISHES I COULD PLAY THE TORONTO RAPTORS IN THE PLAYOFFS EVERYGAME TO STOP ME SHOOTING SO MANY BRICKS CRYANT. WAIT I TAKE THAT BACK GIVE ME SOME MORE WESLEY MATTHEWS BABY OR MAYBE SOME ERIC SNOEW OR JJ GEDDICK DAAMMNIT CANNOT MAKE UP MY MIND AHHAHA

  • @mikenotnumber1 yeah but i didnt say that was my phrase either

  • @mikenotnumber1 yeah well you just said some dumb shit calling someone stupid and spelling at wrong.. hijacking a conversation i was in... so i assumed that you were the dipshit kid. find something better to do then stick your bitchass where it doesn't belong. how about you go tell people how stupid they are and spell stupid wrong ROFL.

  • @oldhamegg

Nah. I learned from your mom to just fuck you over. 14x times in a row Jordan beat Jordan so just bow down to the greatest. And just b/c you suck Jordan's dick while you're down there. Don't you be thinking you'll get anything more than Larry's jizz fuckface.

  • @FavreianVengeance poor baby is sad Larry Bird is not his daddy.

  • @FavreianVengeance You haven't shown your mom these posts yet, have you? I'm surprised she lets you on the Internets at all.

  • @oldhamegg Are you really this fucking retarded? Just shut the fuck up dumbass.

  • @mikenotnumber1 you spelled stupefied wrong dipshit.... by the way i copied a well known quote from a movie people would understand to imply that i think your a complete fucking retard for saying bird was alone and jordan/pippen were somehow not good defenders... it's all wish wash that he made a game winner... if all jumpshots could be blocked then the score of games would be 0-0.. bird had a fucking superstar stacked roster from top to bottom and "beat on" mj's d-league caliber team of the 80s

  • @mikenotnumber1 whaaaaa, someone retorted and I didn't like it.

  • @oldhamegg

I read your comments and you're another idiot Jordan jocker. Just don't talk fuckface.

  • @mikenotnumber1 whoops, your right. The Bulls didn't start winning 3 in a row until the next year. I don't even know why they were in the league in the 89- 90 season. They were sooooo bad. oh, wait.

  • Yeah, "Bird Schooled Jordan" Yeah that's what happened. Oh, wait, Jordan was just the help defense. He was so "schooled". BTW, who won the championship that year?

  • @oldhamegg ""Yeah, "Bird Schooled Jordan" Yeah that's what happened. Oh, wait, Jordan was just the help defense. He was so "schooled". BTW, who won the championship that year? "" -- LMAO How about you show that post to your mom bitch. Bird nailed that shot in Jordan's eye bitch. Had Jordan blocked it you wouldn't be making excuses for Bird so just shut the fuck up.

  • @oldhamegg ""Yeah, "Bird Schooled Jordan" Yeah that's what happened. Oh, wait, Jordan was just the help defense. He was so "schooled". BTW, who won the championship that year?"" --- And frankly bitch, that was a harder shot b/c Jordan got a running start and he had to fade futher back and shoot it not at the optimal point. And IRONICALLY Jordan lost this game by being blocked by the help defender. You're a total sheep ASSWIPE.

  • @oldhamegg chub

  • I am a tarheel and a MJ fan but a bigger Larry Bird Fan. The only thing MJ had over Larry was that he could jump. Thats it. They are both fun to watch play. Wouldn' you agree.

  • Kwame brown shits on larry bird!

  • Moving screen by Horace Grant and McHale still came over the top and stuffed Jordan on a play after Bird nailed the game winner in Jordan and Pippen's face LMAO. It's sick how many people buy the corporate nonsense about Jordan being the greatest when Bird owned Jordan for the better part of a decade. 14 straight wins Bird had over Jordan at one point. Jordan had 5 losing seasons. Bird's worst season was 51 wins!

  • This video is pretty much Bird's career against Jordan. Bird drank a lot of Jordan's milkshakes of his career. MJ even admitted he couldn't wait for Bird to retire. Bird was in his head from the day MJ entered the league until the day Bird retired.

MJ was 11 - 23 against Bird and 0 - 6 in the playoffs against Bird. MJ can HAVE the watered down 90s rings. He never sniffs the Finals in the 1980s. Not as long as Bird's Celtics, Moses' 76ers, and those Pistons teams were around.

    That's a fact.

  • @broaddusmarines mj didnt have the good team in the 80s that he had in the 90s..p.s if a sub .500 team can make it into the finals in the 80s than definitely jordans bulls would make it multiple times

  • @netcap001 The 90s was a watered down weak-ass era of shitty teams, if MJ's 96 team plays in the mid 80s, they might make it to the eastern conference sem-finals, probably not. MJ played shit teams in the 90s, he had 3 Hall of Famers on his team going up against shit teams with 1 or no hall of famers. He played against Malone and Stockton, but their 90s teams weren't as good as their 80s team with Mark Eaton a top 5 defensive center ever. LA still beat their ass in the 80s.

  • @netcap001 Which sub .500 team made it to the finals in the 1980s?

  • @broaddusmarines

The 1980s wasnt that competitive. Either the Lakers or Celtics won the finals EIGHT times because their teams were stacked. So was the 76ers team that won, with Malone, Erving etc.

  • Poor Pippen, getting elbowed to the head by Bird AND losing the game at the same time :D

  • WOW! that wasn't even Jordan's man, he came over to help at the last minute now all these Bird fans act like Larry did something big. well he didn't.

  • @cosmonautiks Fuck you, if you don't think a game winner over Jordan is big then get the fuck out. I'm nobodys fanboy as you are obviously Jordans but you straight out denied the greatness of a gamewinner. What the fuck.

p.s Well aware Jordan came over as help, so before you point it out again have some meaning behind it. E.G why this impacts on anything, or wether anyone claimed Bird was being guarded by Jordan.

  • @PeruvianCactus because i don't agree with this ONE video I'm automatically a Jordan dickrider? you've got the logic of a ten year old boy. The point of the video isn't to show a gamewinner but more to try and embarrass Jordan, read the video description. "Jordan gets schooled" if anyone's a dickrider its the guy who posted this video. The only schooling Jordan got was that if a man is in trouble, don't bother running in trying to do his job for him.

  • @cosmonautiks There is nothing to "agree" with. You stated that it wasn't anything big, and if you don't think so then honestly you're not interested in basketball or your opinion means jack shit. Judging by the fact you're commenting on this video, I'd say your opinion means Jack shit.

A game winner over Jordan sure as shit is a big thing, wether he got schooled or not is completely a subjective matter and nothing anybody says on the topic means jack shit. I never claimed anything about that.

  • @cosmonautiks Are you dense? What part of attempting to block an opposing player's shot, then failing and instead watching the shot go through the hoop don't you understand? jordan came over to block the shot. he failed. he was schooled. ...For years all we got from the media was that scene from the 1986 playoffs when jordan made a shot over bird, and of course jordans 63 points. Thats all the viewers ever saw. Its about time the other wise gets shown."his airness" exposed.

  • @midnightrider33 MJ couldn't have schooled Bird, Bird wasn't his man, that's jordan jackass logic

  • @cosmonautiks It's hurts seeing ya boy get schooled doesn't it, ya little bitch.

  • jordan wanted a foul at the end LOLOL

  • Bird and Barkley are the Best Forwards Ever!!!

  • @Defender80s malone is better than barkley

  • @netcap001 At what Longevity and FT shooting thats about it

  • bird is great but wtf how is he better than JORDAN?! Jordan 3 peat twice 5 mvp's 10 scoring titles 3 time steals champ wtf?! why would you say that ?!

  • 1:01 : uhahh ...lmao what was that?

  • wow....

  • Jordan might aswell have curled up in the fedal position and sucked his thumb. Bird is the best ever. No one is even a close second.

  • @zacharykelway are u retarded? jordan 3 peat twice 5 mvp's 10 scoring titles and 3 times steals champ. 6 finals mvp. larry bird is top 5.

  • @FreeBoosie941 Jordan had Pippen and Armstrong and Horace Grant...The bulls always had people around michael. Infact the bulls woulda been better if michal passed more. He was a ball hog. The refs called the game his way because of his shoe deals. BIRD WAS ALONE. HE MADE THE OTHER PLAYERS. Bird just hit the game winner in mike and scottys face. Arent they supposed to be good defenders?

  • @zacharykelway How the hell was Bird alone when he had Robert Parish and Kevin McHale??? Cmon now. & Larry Bird is Larry Bird. "Aren't they supposed to be good defenders?" Stop being a condescending ass. MJ & Pippen are great defenders. Be real. Like I said, Larry Bird is Larry Bird. Sometimes players of that caliber...ARE making that shot and there's nothing you can do about it.

  • @zacharykelway Bird was alone???? i remember the celtics being one of the most stacked teams....ever...LOL. i guess Kevin Mchale and Robert Parish are nobodies. and they are good defenders...Bird is just a really great shooter. Top 3 all time at least. but i mean theyre both really great teams. and MJ and Larry Bird are both in the top 5 players of all time no doubt

  • @youngsuperior3 If you think Bird was just a great shooter, you don't know much basketball history. Bird took the Celtics from 2nd worst to 1st his rookie year without Mchale, Parish or DJ. MJ couldn't take his rookie team to a .500 record. His team only dropped 2 games worse in the regular season when MJ left in 94, and that's the GOAT? The greatest ever and he's only worth 2 game lmao. McHale, Parish and DJ don't get to the hall of fame if MJ is on their team, MJ made no one better but MJ

  • @MerkinMuffly He did u know that when Bird left in 92 the celtics only had a 3 game drop in 93? Haha ur seriously gonna tell me that DJ, Parish, & McHale wouldn't of been a HOFamer if they played with Jordan? If Bird made those guys HOFamers then how did Jordan NOT make Pippen better? Pippen was an unknown player drafted to the bulls & even Pippen himself as well as Phil Jackson said that Jordan helped Pippen a lot.

  • @MerkinMuffly Umm Jordan leads his team to a 3peat then leaves & they win 55 games & then lose in the 2nd rd, Pippen in 95 only leadin the team to a 34-31 record in danger of not makin the playoffs then Jordan comes back & they go 13-4 makin it to the 2nd rd, then leads em to another 3peat. So that's suppost to mean he's only worth 2 games? I'm pretty sure he was worth A LOT more than that. This stupid 55 wins crap in 94 has been blown way outta proportion by idiots, u included.

  • @hangtime23ful Jordan shot .411 in that 13-4 comeback. Way to pretend that the was the deciding factor for the Bulls resurgence.

  • @FavreianVengeance Yeah ur right he did only shoot 41.1% but he still did avg 26.9ppg in those 17 games. Y don't u look at his 95 playoff numbers, he was the reason y they got to the 2nd rd instead of em bein in danger of not makin it to the playoffs.

  • @hangtime23ful I'm not hating on Jordan. Of course he contributed to team success. I just am saying that he constantly gets more than is his due. It's the corporate media that wants you to believe that he was the undisputed greatest ever when that is not at all the case.

  • @FavreianVengeance Idc what the media believes. I don't say Jordans the GOAT cuz of those guys. I know he's not the "undisputed" GOAT compared to everyone else but he still is the GOAT & yes there r players close to em. Magic, Bird, Kareem, Hakeem, etc.

  • @FavreianVengeance Also dude its not really Jordan's fault that the media loves em so much. He just did what he needed to do on the basketball court & yes he does have shoe deals & all of that, but still.

  • @hangtime23ful

'Fault' em or not, the media certainly they have their interests. There's a reason that if ESPN does a piece with 10 'experts' on who the best bb player of all-time; all of them will say Jordan. He's part of their brand. Bird isn't.

  • @FavreianVengeance Well bro if Bird was the center of the media, ppl like u would probably be upset cuz he's gettin overrated too. & if all of em say Jordan well guess what, he is in most ppl's eyes in the entire world & that's not gonna change cuz he really is the GOAT but yes Bird is definitely up there with em. Jordan isn't the GOAT cuz of his shoe brand, he's the GOAT cuz of what he did on the court consistently on O & D, & everything he accomplished. Like i said it isn't Jordan's fault.

  • @hangtime23ful...DUDE, EVERYWHERE I GO I SEE YOU TRYING TO PUMP UP THE CUPCAKE KING MICHAEL JORDAN...HOW CAN YOU EVER PUT JORDAN IN THE SAME CATEGORY AS LARRY BIRD WHEN BIRD MATCHED UP WITH MEGASTARS AND JORDAN MATCHED UP WITH MORE SCRUBS THAN A KITCHEN FLOOR...BIRD MATCHED UP WITH THE OPPONENTS BEST PLAYERS AND JORDAN MATCHED UP WITH THE OPPONENTS 4TH-5TH BEST PLAYERS...BIRD TAKES ON DR.J AND JORDAN TAKES ON ANDREW TONEY..BIRD TAKES ON WILKINS AND JORDAN TAKES ON RANDY WITTMAN...GOT IT

  • @bumperboy6 Haha if i didn't know any better i'd say this is bretcarr2001 cuz his argument is the EXACT SAME as urs & ur usin all capital letters. Or maybe this is mikenot again usin another sockpuppet account. Quit trollin around dude, ur not gonna play me for a fool.

  • @hangtime23ful...CONTINUED...WITH THE LAKERS..BIRD TAKES ON WORTHY AND MAGIC AND JORDAN TAKES ON BYRON SCOTT..WITH THE PISTONS..BIRD TAKES ON AGUIRE, RODMAN, DANTLEY...JORDAN TAKES ON 6'2 VINNIE JOHNSON AND 6'3 JOE DUMARS...AGAINST THE KNICKS..BIRD TAKES ON BERNARD KING AND JORDAN TAKES ON TRENT TUCKER...AGAINST THE NUGGETTS...BIRD TAKES ON ENGLISH JORDAN TAKES ON HANZLIK...AGAINST THE SUNS..BIRD GETS BARKLEY JORDAN GETS 6'0 KEVIN JOHNSON AND MAJERLE...JORDAN NIGHT IN NIGHT OUT TOOK ON BUMS.

  • @bumperboy6 Jordan took on Drexler, Dale Ellis, Ron Harper, Reggie Lewis, Richmond, Jeff Malone, Hawkins, Reggie Miller, Rolando Blackman, Nick Anderson, Sprewell, Steve Smith, etc & btw idiot Jordan also faced those guys u just named he's a SG/SF. Jordan guarded Magic everytime the bulls & lakers faced each other & since when were Dumars & Majerle bums u frickin retard? Jordan guarded Barkley at times in the 90 ECSF.

  • @hangtime23ful...OK I WAS WRONG...BIRD TOOK ON BARKELY WHILE JORDAN TOOK ON ANDREW TONEY....SAME DIFFERENCE...ANOTHER BUM...YOUR ABOUT THE 100TH PERSON WHO COMPARES ME TO THAT BRET DUDE...WHERE CAN I FIND HIS COMMENTS AT?...I'D BE INTERESTED IN READING HIS COMMENTS...AS FAR AS THE PLAYERS YOU NAMED DALE ELLIS, RON HARPER, REGGIE LEWIS, JEFF MALONE ETC.....NOT ONE OF THOSE BUMS YOU MENTIONED WERE NBA TOP 50 PLAYERS EXCEPT DREXLER...IDIOT..JORDAN ONLY DEFENDED MAGIC AND THEN GOT REPLACED BY PIPPEN

  • @hangtime23ful...DEFENDING A PLAYER ISN'T CONSIDERED A MATCHUP...JORDAN ONLY DEFENDED MAGIC AND MAGIC BURNED HIM GAME AFTER GAME SCORING 30+ AND POSTING TRIPLE DOUBLES ON JORDAN...I THOUGHT JORDAN WAS A GREAT DEFENDER...IF THAT'S THE CASE THEN WHY WAS JORDAN REPLACED WITH PIPPEN TO GUARD MAGIC?...NEXT QUESTION...IF JORDAN WAS ONLY DEFENDING MAGIC THEN WHO DEFENDED JORDAN WHEN HE FACED THE LAKERS?...BUMS...TERRY TEAGLE, TONY SMITH, 6'3 BYRON SCOTT...THE 4TH-5TH-12TH BEST PLAYERS..AS USUAL FOR MJ

  • @hangtime23ful...IS STEVE SMITH AS GOOD AS DOMINIQUE WILKINS? IS DALE ELLIS AS GOOD AS DR.J?..IS ROLANDO BLACKMAN EVEN REMOTELY IN THE SAME CATEGORY AS CHARLES BARKLEY?..CAN YOU EVEN COMPARE NICK ANDERSON TO BERNARD KING? JOE DUMARS WAS A 6'3 4TH BEST PLAYER ON THE PISTONS AND MAJERLE WAS THE 4TH-5TH BEST PLAYER ON THE SUNS...AGAIN MORE MARGINAL BUMS WHO DIDN'T MAKE THE NBA TOP 50...6'0 KEVIN JOHNSON HAD TO GUARD JORDAN BECAUSE MAJERLE SUCKS...YES DUMARS AND MAJERLE SUCK COMPARED TO DOMINIQUE
