• No comment....

  • wow!

    this is actually really good!

at least it makes people enjoy it!!

    this IS GOOD^^

  • Thanks Hank:) Well, it's different anyway, LOL. Or maybe it's one of those things that falls into the realm of it's so bad it's good:)

  • no...

    this is actually REALLY GOOD^^

    i really like it^^

  • oh boy

  • Well said!!!

  • I just saw this video, this is GREAT, loved it!

  • Thanks Donna:) It was a great song to cut loose on, LOL.

  • Slingshot dot com? Isn't that just an ISP? Is that the correct address?

  • SingshotDotcom you need to leave the L off of what you wrote. It's really a cool site. I need to find some time to go back there and massacre a few more songs, LOL.

  • Singshot! Oh! Doh! Of course!!!!!

  • Oh, I am sorry I missed this one too Blinkazoid. You are a great singer--such emotion--with a touch of Jack Nicholson scariness thrown in. LOL. It's all Alana's fault.☺☺☺☺ That girl sure knows how to stir us all up. Little troublemaker, Alana.☺☺☺☺ Hugs,~Moonchime

  • Hi Moonychimes:) Thanks for going back and watching. Yeah... Jack Nicholson scariness, LOL. Yep, this song was a bit on the scary side:) I loved doing this because I can't carry a tune worth a darn but this was still a song I could get into without searching all over the place for the right pitch. Maybe Nike should have used me doing this song for their "Just Do It" ad campaign:) I just now noticed I'm behind with your vids because of the subscription mess. I need to catch back up.

  • lol ur funny

  • Thanks. I hope so, because I certainly can't sing, LOL.

  • People are insane!!! O M G!!!!!!!

  • Aren't they though, LOL. Just think, most if not all of the insane people here on YouTube are actually out there walking the streets. It's a scary thought:)

  • Yeah... mmmm i was actually talking about you!!! :)

  • Hehehehe. I *knew* you were, LOL.

  • My ears are bleeding!

  • Heheheh. Then my mission is accomplished. As bad as this was I'm still going to claim vast superiority to dmuraski's singing ability. I know you saw his American Idol game video.

  • I can't decide who's worse. You or Derek. I don't want to think about it!

  • wow!

You looked like you were having fun when you were pretending to play the piano I joined you when I was sitting & watching! ^_^

  • Thanks:)) Ya, the air piano was the most fun part of it. And probably the easiest to listen to as well, LOL.

  • Oh my...I'm not sure what to say...you do have guts.

I wasn't sure if you were having a seizure though part way through.

    Love ya Blinky, Nancy

  • Thanks nancy:) This was one song I could really sink my teeth into, for better or worse, LOL.

  • hmm now i feel stupid..I thought you really played the piano for suburbanmom lol

  • Hehehe. Ya, I watched her vid and I could see how anybody could have made that mistake, LOL. She has a knack for delivering lines with a deadpan type of style sometimes, which is just a small part of what makes her so funny.

  • Thanks Jerry. Hey even I wouldn't buy my own CD, LOL. But that's the beauty of YouTube. The crazy is free:)

  • Don't give up your day job. :-)

  • What are you talking about!!! I'm in the middle of putting together a tour right now. First item on the list is a nice strong steel cage to go around the stage, LOL.

  • You are very unique that's why I luv ya.....

    Awesome job!!!

  • Thanks Stacey:) You've stuck with me a long time now and I appreciate it!!!

  • Nice piano playing there, Blink!...hehehe Fun guy you are!

  • Thanks Mic:) Air piano is a much underappreciated art form, LOL.

  • Very confident! My respect! Very comfi in singing those ultra speed liyrics. Well done! The style was really unique and inspiring, that's all that counts!

  • Thanks Dicle:) Normally I'm not at all comfortable singing because I have a *very* limited range, so I'm a little timid and searching all over for the right pitch and never finding it, but this was such a fun song to just belt out and not really care about how I sounded.

  • That's the spirit. It was worth watching!

  • LMAO...that was great!

    5 Estrellas

  • I shall add them to my growing collection. One of these days I'll either trade them in for PrincessD hugs or singing lessons, LOL. Ahhhh, what am I saying... I don't need any stinkin' singing lessons:)

  • You sure don't want singing lessons from me....I sound like Cher after a bad night of drinking and purging :)

  • Well up above in the comments Curt says I should do a Sonny and Cher-ish duet with SuburbanMom so maybe that's not a bad thing, LOL.

  • will you be singing the Cher part? cause that would be mad funny :)

  • I'm not sure if the world is ready for another Blinkazoid song

    soon in the future, LOL.

  • Jerry Lee watch out! You have competition. LOL!

  • If I'd only of had a little jell in my hair and had it a little longer in the front so it would go down about halfway over my nose during my air piano I think the two performances would have been nearly indistinquishable

  • Whoops, I needed to add a LOL up above at the end of my sentence. I wouldn't want anyone to think I'm a delusional wannabe:)

  • OMG! LOL! I got chills!

  • Hehehehe. Thank you Susan:) I always knew you were a woman who appreciated the finer things in life. Your ears are more finely tuned than most, otherwise you couldn't have seen the beauty in the subtler undertones of this performance.

  • I accept all responsibility! I will post a video response in a day or two!

  • Hehehehe. Thank you stepping up to the plate and letting the world know who's fault this was, LOL. Video response to this eh:))) I'm both thrilled and scared at the same time!!!

  • You definitely added your own style to it Blink. Nice job

  • Thanks UPSData:) One should always bring something new to the party:)

  • Woo hoo! Great Balls of Fire! Well donne, Blinkazoid!

  • Thanks Nat20:) I do need do go and look for my cats though. I havn't seen them in a few hours. Kinda reminds me of the last really bad thunderstorm we had:)

  • I think the central talent for this song is to ham it up shamelessly - and you did great!

  • Thanks Dahlia:) Hamming it up shamelessly is sometimes what I do best, LOL.

  • LOL omg. I hope you don't get offended with me laughing, but it was just the song you picked. And you were really hamming it up. =P Best part: AIR PIANO! GO BLINKY GO!!! :D (yes, Blinky. I did say that. SHUSH! YOU KNOW YOU LIKE IT!)

  • Hehehe. *Loved* the comment yumenotenshi:) I'm glad you got a laugh out of it. I had a blast doing it. Hey if your going to sing bad, it's best to sing REALLY bad, LOL. Not too many songs lend themselves to going so far over the top as this one. It's like it's just been out there all these years waiting for me to come along and really butcher it:) Also, as far as the air piano goes, I've been attenting Julliard Musical School Of The Mind for many years to perfect that craft:)

  • I believe Alana has helped to uneart a hidden talents unbeknownst to your legions of ardent admirers...

now my dreams will have a soundrack!

  • Hehehehe. Thank you for your support Lesley. A piddling small minority here do not have the finely cultured good taste which you show on a day in and day out basis. And what an appropriately titled song you have chosen for your soundtrack!!!

  • great ping pong balls of fire! woo hooo sizzling!

  • Ummmm nice? No ummmmm different? No ummmm awful!! Yea that's it...awful!!

    :-)

    Dianne

  • Thank you for your *support*, LOL. I also do weddings, bar mitzvah's, wakes, and bachelorette parties, (all gratuities accepted). Sign up now or be bitterly dissapointed later on. I do have a Paypal account. I'll be sure to give you a nice discount though:)

  • What about birthday parties?

Shouldn't that be "and" not "or" in the dissapointed sentence?

    Dianne

  • I still do adult birthday parties. I stopped doing children's birthday parties YEARS ago though. (Children can be so cruel!!!)

Nope the "or" is correct. Hey I've never had a dead person or bachelorette leave one of my performances dissapointed yet!!!

  • Oooohh...the naughty adult birthday parties?

    Dianne

  • Well admittedly sometimes they pay me *not* to sing, LOL.

  • scary clowns and Blink singing at barmitzvahs and birthday parties!! Now that's entertainment! Stephen King style.

  • I'll have to book him for my birthday in July.

    Dianne

  • Make sure the desserts have plenty of whipped cream on top of them:P

  • And let's not forget the chocolate syrup as well!!

    Dianne

  • cherries and nuts!

  • Those are very important!!

    Dianne

  • If Cujo shows up I'm leaving!!! Maybe you can throw him a hot dog to distract him. Of course I've still got my magical singing powers to fall back on. Music to soothe the savage beast. King would have to rewrite that book and made Cujo deaf had the melodiously gifted Blink had been around.

  • Yeah, but up at the Pet Semetary, you'll have much worse things to worry about...and if it gets out of hand you'll end up in Shawshank getting Thinner and thinner. Think about IT Blink....Dolores Claiborne as your only visotor and nothing but Misery walking The Green Mile!

  • Egads, and Great Balls Of Fire Lesley!!! as they say in a game of pool I do believe you have "run the table." There's nothing left for me to do but ponder the symbolism of a fresh rack and fresh balls anxiously awaiting their ultimate destination:)

  • touchè ..ooops, wrong sport....

hard eight in the corner pocket! :)

  • Gasp:)...Ahhhh...Cigarette?

  • Thanks for stopping by Mik. Grab yourself a free grape juice and if there's any left you can have a free set of ear plugs as well, LOL.

  • Hey Blinky,

So, you're blaming this on Alana? I think you are the one that's at fault. Don't quit your day job...

    Mary

  • Hi Mary. Don't you know that NOBODY takes responsibility for their own actions anymore. Everybody always blames it on somebody else. If it wasn't Alana's fault then it was SingshotDOTcom's or maybe the internet itself. It couldn't possiby be *my* fault. I think the evidence is right here before us for a temporary insanity plea:)

  • Blinky,

I have to agree to disagree with you. Ok, so next time I am late for work, or forget to pick up TP at the supermarket, I should just blame it on someone else? I don't know who Singshotdotcom is. Anyway, if I were you, I'd go with the temporary insanty plea...

  • I'll probably take your advice and go with the temporary insanity plea. I'm pretty sure I can get away with that. I *DO* worry about what will happen in the future though. I just know I'll

lose it and post *something* else in the future I need to blame on some other factor/s. How many times can one use the "temporary insanity plea" before it starts to appear not so temporary?

  • OK, so go with the permanant insanity plea...

  • They're coming to take me away ha ha:)

  • Great video and superb impression of using an old typewriter!

  • Thanks Brian. Old typewriter!!! Hey I'll have you know that that was a genuine Steinway, hand painted with 40 coats of lacquer, buffed by the butts of the fairest of maidens, and tuned by the ethereal spirit of Bethoven himself. You must have been having another one of your phallically symbolic *underwood* dreams, LOL.

  • There's too much buffing going on around here I reckon - mind you butts sounds better than the oily rag Bradthunder used. No no! I must stay focused....

  • I used a satin hanky. Only the best for my weapon!

  • unlike Norwegian Wood, which is a very durable lumber

  • Norwegian Wood - now that reminds me - I once had a girl, or should I say...

  • That was HAWT ---- Praise Ya Jesus!

    Tubegranny

  • WooHoo, great to see you stopping by Tubegranny. I don't know about you but I can feel the moisture just dripping through the comments. I'm a little uncertain which orifice it's dripping from, but dammit it's MOIST, LOL.

  • um your greatt h hum bblink lol well good try

  • Thanks domie. Yep, I hit it with my best shot:)

  • Very cool, Blink! I think you and Alana should do a duet on a Sonny & Cher tune.

PS. That's some mean air-piano playing!

  • Thanks Curt. I'm glad I GOT YOU in my corner BABE. Air piano is my specialty. The air guitar chords are too hard to learn:)

  • Curt, that's a great idea...so much fun. Or, what about Dolly and Kenny?

  • Yes, but it would only be fun if Blink wore the Dolly wig and Suburbanmom wore the beard.

And if that doesn't work, they can always do a Donny & Marie impersonation... I can just see Blink in the purple jump suit & platform shoes now!

  • oh yeah....!

  • Maybe Donny & Venus Flytrap should be the ones singing a duet:)))

  • Add Herb Tarlek on his best day to that mix and a person could go blind - !!

  • LOL, It's been so long since I've seen an episode I'd forgotten about Herb and his wild clothes:)

  • to funny I love it great job.

  • Thanks NGA. Actually it was kinda fun to do. On most songs I'm timidly bad/off key. Every now and then an inspiring one comes along that I can really sink my teeth into though, LOL. (althought still bad/off key)

  • Where's my Xanax ?!!!! :D

  • Hehehehe. Oh dear, I think I've now found my true calling in life. I need to be employed by the pharmaceutical industry to help them up their sales:)

  • Oh dear lord. Tiny Tim is back from the dead!!!!!!!

  • I also do weddings and bar mitzvah's. Call me if you ever need me:)

  • Bravery, thy name is Blinkazoid.

  • Ya, I guess bravery is *one* word for it, LOL. Thanks Kate:)

  • HA!! that made me smile ;) and it also made me so thankful that you will never ever have to listen to Simon Cowell say : good god man what were you thinking? hehe.

    hugs,

    Lisa

  • Hehehehe. Hmmmm, but you know how much they love their outrageously bad singers in the early rounds. Don't count me out yet, LOL.

  • Hey, you made that your own for sure Blink! Unique is the word LOL :)

  • According to SomeCallMeJim if you use a copyrighted song but make substantial modifications to it it's not copyright infringement. I think I accomplished my mission:)

  • Mission accomplished - would have to agree! In fact, your modifications were so thorough, that it wasn't until the last stanza, that I recognized the song!

  • Oh Lawd! uh...uh...yep. I look foward to your next poem. LOL!

  • There once was a man who's songs did stink

He was known far and wide by the name of Blink

He once took a song and made it his own

And caused his followers to grumble and moan

His mighty voice caused a ripple throughout the land

As if his vocal chords were flying unmanned

A Jerry Lee Lewis song he did flout

Till his voice finally blew out.

  • I love you man... but everytime you sing... God kills a truckload of kittens in anger.

  • MEOW:)))

  • I've said before and I will say it again...Here we go!

  • Hehehe. Fasten your seatbelts. It's going to be a bumpy ride:)
