  • Listen...the bread was bound to fail from the beginning, becuz u had a faulty measurement of ingredients. U could NEVER use that amount of flour with just 1 Tablespoon of yeast and expect 2 make bread -- unless u were just experimentin' here, 4 fun (Im assuming that u were, just 2 b positive). Use about 6 1/2 cups of flour.

And water at 130 degrees?! That would kill the yeast, instantly on contact! The water should not be cold but should be just warm (close 2 room-temperature).

  • @Tweetie47 are you blind or something? the yeast was clearly activated. go crawl up somebody elses ass =)

  • @achampag whoa, easy SpoildBread lunatic -- I mean, "achapag"

I'm glad you felt like doing a video!

  • Looks very tasty. i will have to give this a try. Like how you make a surprise guest appearance reflected in the mixing bowl. LOL

  • Um - I think you are wrong about the salt thing. the salt in he bread dough is more than a flavor thing. i know when i forget it salt it turns out funky. this is a grea time of year to make bread - it rises so quickley.

  • knead it, yeah thats it, thats how I like it.

  • lmao!!

  • this is awesome

  • try it some time!

  • again thank you soo much for the video!

  • you are very welcome

  • How long have you been Vegan and how do you not starve of hunger in Vegas?

  • i can't wait to watch this video !!! as soon as i get me some wifi !

  • make sure you experiment =)

  • I used to bake bread and rolls a lot! I should get back to baking it! It's always soooo much better than what you can buy and you have control over what is in it! And the added bonus is the aroma in the house when baking...:-) Laziness gets the better of me these days, unfortunately...LOL On to part 2...:-)

  • indeed it can be a hassle...but so worth it. its so hot there i wouldnt blame you for not baking tho

  • on to part two, i'm impressed at your mad bread skillz :)

  • am sure you can make bread right?

  • i have many times, but has been a looong time since. you look like you make bread almost every day :)

  • hope you liked it! you kinda inspire ppl to cook ya know

  • whaddaya talkin, you are a GREAT cooking vid maker!

  • i suppose will hafta cook something else now too...from new kitchen tho!

  • But this is a good thing. A new place = new camera placement and setting for home videos, and new house plants framing the sofa.

    See?

New is good. Everything in your life, everything, must be looked at through the lens of "how will this help my viewers enjoy my videos?"

I know why you made this video -- you prob saw the Julia Child / Meryl Streep movie. Why didn't you use the voice of Julia Child showing us how to make bread. Once again, you weren't thinking, were you?

  • clang clang clang it's just 8 am and my brain is scrambled with your constant bowl banging. ;)

  • really? I AM SO IN UR HEAD?!?!

  • I was thinking just a tad more sugar, if only you could have watched part 2 first like I did.

  • haha

  • I always considered you a goddess, but I never knew you were of the domestic type. On to part 2...
