@stahelsky nah man hes actually pretty good. the thing about the chili peppers is that (besides chad, who is simply a phenomenon) they arent THAT talented (albeit, yes, they are all prodigies in themselves, save the flame, Im as massive a rhcp fan as they come) ... but they all play with feeling. this is what sets them apart from other bands. josh plays with feeling. just watch him play guitar. there's passion. it's what their made of. they don't need talent as much as uniquity.

I think Flea's quite a phenomenon himself too, and yes, perhaps Josh's great, but either way, we'll have to see how he is 'round the Chili Peppers as main guitarist; maybe the chemistry won't be right, which was the thing that was great particulary between John and Flea. But yeah, I've seen Josh playing live with John, and he's good. What I'm worried about is whether he'll be good for the Peppers. I don't want them to be ruined just because John's gone.
