I didn't even have to understand the words to understand every last thing he meant in that song. I got teary-eyed and goose bumps. That final note! The power and strength and desperation behind it! Everything that the Beast is. The costume is absolutely one of the best I've seen for the Beast, and the sets look amazing. I wish I could find the whole of his performance that night.

i am playing the beast currently in nottinghamshire. and i must say i hate the two last notes of this song, not for the range but simply the words. "With Me" very eeee sounds. But this translation sounds so much nicer to finish of the song :)

I tried, but I really didn't like the sound of it, it was like "Meh" instead of "Me".

I basically taught myself how to sing the show (at 17), so I'm sure there were lots of things that could have been better.

If it sounded like Meh you were doing it wrong. YOu're supposed to round it. Making your lips round, tongue on the bottom of your teeth, and push the sound forward almost like you can feel the sound coming right from your lower teeth. Thats helped me when I've worked on this.

William Michals is actually even better than Terrence Mann. Unfortunately, he always gets the parts right after him. Have you ever seen or heard WM? He's rather small... but his voice is inversely proportional to his size. Plus, he's classically trained. Can't be beat.
