  • And even with all those united Asian Hordes of the Mongols, they still only weakened Lithuanian's military forces for barely 4 decades.

So Lithuanians were truly heroes, and had brilliant cavalry, but Mongols had cannons and countless hordes from Asia. Which only got them a short victory.

  • My Grandfather said: General Sikorski was killed by British, because he wanted to make a pact with Hitler against Russians. Wilson didn't like it. So it happened.

( He even said it why: Katyn and the " Stab in a back " by Russians. )

  • Where is conquest of Moscow and battle of Chocim in 1621 where 8000 Polish Winged Hussars crushed 150.000 Ottomans and saved Europe?

  • PS: Sarmatians also invented Sarma.

  • Actually, Hussars were invented by Sarmatians which ruled over some Slavic tribes. It was light calvalry and there were no wings. Serbs were one of tribes that were ruled by Sarmatians at some point, and Hussars among Slavs were first recorded on Kosovo Battle in 1389 (Serbs vs Turks). Later when Serbia fall under Turks, some remaining Hussars fleed to Hungary to fight turks, and when hungary fell, then to Poland. Poles added wings and more armoury, so Polish Hussars became heavy calvary.

  • Zobaczie moj film o Polsce, GRUNWALD.

  • The Polish history management "is unfortunately not much more honest than the Turkish.

  • Grunwald was commanded by Generals Vitold and Wladyslaw both were Lithuanians and Most Troops were Lithuanians. And the rest battles to 1791 were fought by the commonwealth. And the Ottomans did not fall after battle of Vienna battle , it did after WW1.

PLEASE do your research next time

  • @eiffelTowerMan At Grunwald 1410 there were 51 Polish regiments/banners/including one Czech.Allied had 40 Lithuanian banners including each from Smolensk,NovgorodVlk.andVitebsk.All Lithuanian consisted mostly of Russinians now called Belarus.Ethnic Lithuania i.e. Zmudź was then occupied by Crossers and therefore did not participate in the battle, except those living in Vilno region. Reportedly,Władyslaw and Vitold mother tongue was Rusinian. This battle definitely saved Lithuanian language, ident

  • @wladys678 Do you even understand what means Vytautas ? Vytautas = vytis +tauta = to chace countrie dont make his name russian its falsification of history. ALl history in wikipedia go read it and stop this bullshit its anoying to read not real history.

  • That's impressive but please stay in your own country. Ireland can't take any more. Poland has 40 million. Ireland has 6 million. Too many poles in Ireland who come for greed. Let Ireland be Irish please... excessive immigrants will ruin our identity and our beautiful countryside

  • @eire32freedom

Poles do not emigrating. They colonize. Sorry Ireland, you are not the first and you will most definitely not be the last. -giggles-

    Just kidding !

C'mon, we're all europeans ! We're more than brothers to eachother ! -hugs Eire- Let me buy you a beer, mate.

  • @eire32freedom I agree with you, dear friend. But keep in mind it's not an easy task.Poles are being brainwashed inside their own country to exit Poland. There are mumerous incentives to leave, never to stay.Poland is potentialy the richest country in Europe but since 1989 there is no work for Poles, high unemployment, now 16%,sometimes 20%. 23%VAT,Polish shipyards, coal mines, parts of agriculture shut down on orders of EU.Polish past, heritageis ridiculed inside Poland by media like never in thepast

  • Hey Poles! I Russian and I condole with you in death your president. :(

But I am surprised, when to us speak that you accuse Russian of his death. To you say that Tu-154 can cut trees his wings and other. It's lie. Tu-154 can't to cut woods, it's impossible. It can't sustain such blow.

Your president suggested to sit down at other airport, but he won't :(

  • @RusNikF Da zdravstvoj brat Rus. Nikto u kogo um v golovie Vas ne vinujet. Polak.

  • Patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel

    Samuel Johnson - 1775

  • @spasev ""He that wishes to see his country robbed of its rights cannot be a patriot" Samuel Johnson

  • @spasev "I judged the Poles by their enemies. And I found it was an almost unfailing truth that their enemies were the enemies of magnanimity and manhood. If a man loved slavery, if he loved usury, if he loved terrorism and all the trampled mire of materialistic politics, I have always found that he added to these affections the passion of a hatred of Poland. She could be judged in the light of that hatred; and the judgment has proved to be right. GK Chesterton

  • Both sides are right, i have a polish eagle tattoed on my back, one golden ring of the polish eagle on my hand.

I am dissapointed in the end that Poland was and still is under control of other nations, i am sorry that other nationalists cannot see the truth anymore.

The polish airplaine crash is being covered up and we dont do enough as a country.

I already knew Poland was going backwards, i see it change year by year, but i will die for my country, i am proud of the food, the people, music etc

  • @DragonBaine -- You know very well who is responsible for the horrific airplane crash which wiped out just about all of Polish hierarchy .......... it was those dastardly RUSSIANS. They will never let up. Poland must seek more allies to help her withstand the Russian onslaughter. Russia wants influence in all the Slavic lands.

  • what is the difference between a romanian and a pole? a romanian will lay there in the street and BEG you for money, while a pole will DEMAND you give them money FOR NOTHING,,,everyone there is SICK!

  • @younggeorgy demand money for nothing? Are you crazy, or simply some chavinist?

  • 2:19 we should gain the land we lost and dominate the countries that always tried to destroy us in their great numbers but never achieved that

  • If some one of u wanna know Lithuanians even don't give a fuck about u r union.....To us it was like occupation.

  • @Ukrainist

I have never had anything against Ukraine but you are just arrogant and rude, you are and a bitch. How dare you! You are a pain on the backside of humanity. Plus what makes you think Poland i so shit? What, because we had wonderful allies like Lithuania and all you had was devastating Russia (Soviet Union), seriously, shut up, your just digging a hole for yourself! Poland is a proud country and your arrogant comments can't bring it down, i spit upon you!!!

  • @Ukrainist Shut up, Nazi collaborator, or UPA murderer!

  • Wszystko pieknie i ladnie, michasss, tylko musisz podszkolic sie w angielskim. Kulejesz troche!

  • widziałam jeden z pokazanych tu obrazów "Sobieski pod Wiedniem" w muzeach watykańskich i tysiące ludzi go oglądających i byłam dumna z naszej historii,

trochę dziwnie przeskoczyłeś z konstytucji 3go maja do cudu nad Wisłą

  • if you make that not only for Poles, it's important to say - accordintg to battles for instance Grunwald of Kircholm - for what and why they fight not only how many soldiers..

  • @sebekamse all allies, but not Lithuania :)

  • I hate that english call us Lithuania or Lithuanians (sounds chokeing) - Its "Litewscy - Litwa", już mi lepiej :-

  • you forget one very reasonable word LITHUANIA... Jesus

Pozdrawiam, Historia Magistra Vitae ;)

  • Dziekuje "FortheHonour"Niech żyje Serbia i narod serbski!

  • Zivela Poljska i poljski narod!Mnogi Srbi su prijatelji Poljske.

  • @ForTheHonour Kosovo je Serbia!

  • Dr. Jolanta Solecka, a microbiologist at the National Institute of Public Health in Warsaw, has discovered a new strain of antibiotics that could be used to fight bacteria that causes staph infections.

  • Name these Polish "war criminals".I can provide you with books of german war & civil criminals from 2 centuries.

  • And you, Germans started the war, made on our land your death camps like Auschwitz, and you killed like 500 polish people per day and destroyed whole warsaw in occupation, so GTFO from us.

  • @lllubieRS first concentration camps in Europe are Polish !!!

    1. Szcypiorno, Posener Gebiet, errichtet 1918

    2. KZ Stralkowo, Posener area build 1919

after Polish attack on Sowjetunion 1920 are build :

    3. Bereza Kartuska (Galizien), 1926

    4. Brest Litowsk, also in 1926.

It is a shame that nobody in Poland learned about this Polish history in schools ...

  • @2tereserve BULLSHIT.... google these names people to find out it`s just a bunch of lies.

  • @MaximusProteus google Polish concentrationcamps and Polish Imperalism and Polish crimes against W-Russians,Ukrainians and Germans ....

  • @eastwestua WOW.... 2 thumbs up in 15 minutes.... you must be the smartest Muscovite ever :)

Why is that the two most murderous nations ever, Muscovite and Germans are bitching about a little Poland so much? Get lost

  • @MaximusProteus ... "The fact that the true policy objective of the Polish ruling class does not nationalistic, but imperialist, was that the rule of Poland included large populations of foreign descent, in Western Europe has never been sufficiently understood."

Quote Source: Hugh Seton-Watson, Eastern Europe between the Wars 1918-1941, Cambridge 1946 ...

  • @eastwestua It seems it wasn`t understood either by Hugh Seton-Watson that Poland was always a multi etchnic country.... until nazis and soviets made it "pure", at now it`s the most mono etchnic country in Europe.

But i agree, it was a mistake.... we should follow the German and Muscovite example and assimilate the minorityies, kisk the Jews out and than maybe we`d be able to compare ourselves with such "cultural", great "empires" like French, Brtish, German and the others....

  • @MaximusProteusSorry, I do not understand what you mean.

  • @eastwestua becouse i wasn`t responding to you...

  • @MaximusProteus your versio ...The consequences of World War II was the largest forced migration movements in human history, within a few years, uprooted millions of people. The more one looks behind the popular history the more the image takes a very different. In Russia, Belarus and Ukraine we see things differently than in the West or Poland Poland also bears a large share of the blame for the outbreak of WW2 even if they deny it (ever ).

  • @eastwestua my version? Not sure if the biggest, but a major one for sure, even my family was kicked out of Vilnius, but... what`s your point? Differently indeed, especially in Belarus... i hope you appreciate our restoration of the antique buildings, or not?

    .

For sure, it could just give up and let Germans with Muscovites share it, than there wouldn`t be the world war.... at least not yet. Our fault.

  • @MaximusProteus and some countries also knew how they react and what they wanted ...

  • @eastwestua What do you mean? If you still excuse invasion and German terror with this minority "chip" than tell me if Germans also were "persecuted" in Denmark, Norway, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Yugoslavia etc... ?

  • @MaximusProteus Germanys western invasion 1940 had nothing to do with Polish crimes and Polish Imperalism before since 1919 , your talk misses the point .

  • @eastwestua I`m asking if it had anything to do with the Danish, Norwegian, Dutch, Belgian aso. "crimes" and "imperialism" ? Or will you blame it also on the "Polnishe Banditen" ? Maybe that`s all the fault of JEEEEEEWS

    .

Even your soviet friends shared Poland with you, provided you with resources, even made up a Republic of Volga Germans, but still you betrayed them. Shame on you.

  • @MaximusProteus Shame yourself Hypocrite .The Polish media and the Polish church (from a few isolated exceptions) try to this day, the criminal deeds of the Jews, perpetrated not only by a minority of the Polish population - not only in the years 1940 to 1945 to conceal, but also after the war - or mitigate.Thousands of Poles, not only schmalzowniks" and their crimes were known.

  • @eastwestua Why, we don`t betray our allies like you did.

Please, pull yourselve together and write some comprehensive sentences.... So you play the Jewish "card" and call me a hypocrite?

So called "szmalcowniks" were the first to execute by the secret state and Home Army, they and the other collaborators, it wasn`t easy to fight the Germs if there was issued collective punishment, 100 accidental civillians for a 1 Germ. We do not tolerate crimes.

  • @eastwestua you are right in this points. do you know this `Sprichword`? --- Immer wieder behauptete Unwahrheiten werden nicht zu Wahrheiten, sondern was schlimmer ist, zu Gewohnheiten....it says more than thousand words ... exactly in reference to Poland .

2011 .``Kurschskaya Kossa ´´.... you know ...also Dnipro....hi,hi und bye,bye...

  • @MaximusProteus It is also known that the Polish underground Home Army (AK) has refused to provide the Jewish uprising in the ghetto for their weapons. And we need no Wolga Germans,Germans,Poles or Russains ...we had enough and sent them back ...guy !

  • @eastwestua HAHA the only weapons Jews had were smuggled by the Home Army, both Jewish organisations ŻOB (communists) and ŻŻW were made by the former officers of Polish Army (there were of course Jews in Polish Army) and were organised as military units of the secret state, responsible before the goverment on exile. This comment was your EPIC failure...

We? I don`t care, but you`re confusing again.. gay ?

  • @MaximusProteus Your insults make no impression on me. The Poles also like to deny his crimes everyone knows at least since Jedwabne....

  • @eastwestua Oh am i insulting you? It`s an offence for myself to speak with uneducated illaterates such as yourselve.

Who denies Jedwabne ?? It was done by the locals "inspired" by the Germs and probalby also NKVD, soviets executed 10 residents after "liberation" for that.

  • @MaximusProteus Good luck with your Polish gloss over and distort history ...

  • @eastwestua Distort ?? All i`ve said you can easily find and confirm in google... get lost if you have nothing else to say.

  • @eastwestua LOL i see the only thing you can do is to give yourselve thumbs up with all of the fake accounts you have... how pathetic.

  • @MaximusProteusIn In East Prussia lived many Salzburger with Germans,Dutch,French,Russians,Poles,Kaschubs,W-Russians,Lithuanians ...the problems made the Poles, the Nazis and Poles again....

  • @eastwestua But of course, who else could make "problems"....

In Prussia you mean i guess, there never lived many Kashubians and even if some immigrants lived there, they were eventually germanised, with exception of so called "Masurians". The native Baltic Prussians were extinct... i wonder why.

Gruss aus neu-sud-ost Preussen... or whatever you named it.

  • @MaximusProteus Are the Poles better to Ukrainians, Germans, Lithuanians, Belarussian, Russian, Kashubian ?Probably not, this happened only after 1948 ...`Regermanisierung` and `Polisierung`are made through Poles are already after WW1 .

  • @eastwestua Depends on which Poles you mean. The Polish state, whenever it was independent, never used chavinist legislature like "Nurymberg Laws" or so, in the interbellum every minority had its parliamentar representation.... even now there are 2 deputyies of the German so called "minority".

After 1945 Poland was a puppet state in artificial borders with artificially "puryfied", monoetchnic society and obviously Poles were victims of that regime in the first place.

    In which way after WWI?

  • @MaximusProteus ...google Polish crimes registered since 1681 !!! But not only brainwashed WIKIPEDIA !!!

  • @eastwestua

No records for "Polish crimes registered since 1681" LOL you dumb looser... and who said about wikipedia ?

Is this a one of your fake accounts with which you`re giving yourselve thumbs up? How pathetic

  • @MaximusProteus ...?? great comment ...

  • @lllubieRS

You are retarded. I have polish blood inside me too (isn't too much for beeing a polish guy according to lots of people like you (=polish fascists? nothing learned from germanys history?), but ffs, you should be silenced, because of kinds like you dragging down polands image. There is no place for people going backwards!

  • Conversion to christianity was a sad day, but given german aggression politically necessary

Thanks google, for buying youtube and making it suck even harder.

  • Świetny filmik o wspaniałej naszej historii! Kocham Polska Husarie! 5/5 tylko szkoda ze nie ma muzyki :/

  • KAZDY MA SWOJA PRAWDE

  • THEN GO 2 LITHUANIAN SITES

  • NO BODY LIKE US WE DONT CARE!

  • The winged hussars are the coolest warriors ever. What other warrior had wings on their backs!? Seriously.

  • sorry your wrong it was the third constitution in world and second in europe there was one in the protectorate in Britain just it was disbanded with the return of the monarchy

  • Wait a min are you saying that a little Polish army defeathed a big Swedish army? I cant believe what im hearing!

  • Tactics my friend. It was so called strike through with heavy cavalry (winged husars) with exit on the rear of Sweedish Army. If this proportion is shocking for you I'd like to see your reaction, if you hear about Somosierra - 120 horsmen against 1800 infantry wit 16 canons :-)

  • You have to consider that we were one state at this time - the Commonwealth, so dont sepparate 2 nations so drastically. We would not have acheived these victories without you, and you without us.

  • You know we Polish have such a manner to say "we" about "us" means Polish and Lithuanians because of our common state and history. But everybody in Poland remembers about your part !

  • I agree, but that time there were us - and not to forget that in Commonwealth there were living not only Polish and Lithuanians, but also Whiterussian, Ukrainian, Latvian, Estonian and others. Those times it was more important who was the ruler than the matter of nationality. Modern nationalism ideas were born in XIX century . Before there were some paradox situations like German volunteers from Gdansk joining Polish troops at Napoleon Army to fight against Preussen (!) What is now is different.

  • Who said you to be silent - me ? You might be mixed my comments with some others ? I do not deny that it was Lithuanian victory as well. I tried to explain you that in Polant most of people consider Commonwealth which had one King, one Prlament, and common system of Courts as "our state". The point is that same in Poland and West people very often exchange "Commonwealth" with "Poland". Even I had many times problems with explaining foreigners that it had two parts LGD and Polish Kingdom.

  • One guy with one film making common for half bilion people mistake doesn't change that whoever wants to learn about battle will read in Polish Wikipedia as follows:

"It was one of the greatest victories of 1st Republic (Commonwealth). Nearly 4 thousands of Lithuanian troops (including units of Kozhaks, Tatars and Latvian) under command of field hetman of Lituania Jan Karol Chodkiewicz thanks to creative usage of "break through" power of winged husars defeated 3 times bigger Swedish army.

  • As I see you are interested in history, so it should be interesting for you: Great Lithuanian Hetman Jan Karol Chodkiewicz was of Ukrainian origin. His blood line is coming straight from Chodko Juriewicz who was "bojar ruski" (ukrainian knight / nobleman) from Kiyiv.

You forgot to translate "mushk" - I'm really interested what is the meaning (and I could not find it in Lihuanian - Polish dictionary).

As I see you are interested in history - maybe we can exchange some informations in private mail

  • I think we can, i will add you as a friend and will write

  • if I may chip in;the way I see you`ve wrote"mushk",it may be a variant of "mushik"-russian for peasant

  • you know what everyone in the whole inteier world thinks that litavenia is a part of Poland

  • I will put it the other way. Commonwealth was the time of "we" not "Lithuania or Poland" so don't try to say that something was done thanks to Lithuania and something thanks to Poland. We were fighting on the same side and practically under the same standard. I don't know why you don't like Poland so much and call us stupid poles (forgetting even about capital letter) or liers . Remember that Commonwealth was found because Lithuania and Poland needed each other- separatelly we were to weak.

  • @thral92

Lithuania needed Poland to survive, those Lithuanians are ungrateful swines.

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah,we remember for Radziwills did to the Commonwealth.

  • To LaukineShiaure - In battle of Grunwald was 2/3 knights from Poland and only our knights answered good arms and training Teutonic Knights. We won battle thanks Poles. However battle of Kircholm was victory of Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth army not Lithuanian. Battle of Kłuszyn was polish victory but we, Poles tell that was Polish-Lithuanian. Dont it call author idiot or straight lier and stop read wikipedia. He presented truth.

  • ya but everyone consider that as a Polish battle and victory

  • WMG? Bede omijał tę firmę z daleka. Skompromitowali się tą decyzją

  • In other words, english, to the idiot who blocked that music : WMG should be aware of that this video was actually PROMOTING that music, not stealing it. Anyone who is responsible for marketing at WMG should be FIRED after such decision. Personally I was just about to BUY that music in the shop , now I don't remember the artist ... YouTube is MARKETING in some way , If I was working in music branch I could make a lot of money ... YouTube is FREE advertising. They don't get it ...

Smutne.
